The waiter paced back and forth carrying a bucket of water that had been mixed with blood. King Wei sat bare-chested on the edge of the bed. A healer bandaged the wounds all over King Wei's body.
"Xuanas..."
Call Se Se while staring at the body filled with bandages.
King Wei turned his eyes towards Se Se.
"I'm sorry for making you see this terrible condition" King Wei said.
"I'll listen to your story after the healer is done. Rest, Xuan must be tired after going through all these events." said Se Se.
Se Se came out of the room with a face that harbored his emotions and worries. He headed to Yu's room to get an explanation of what had happened to King Wei.
"Brakk!!"
Se Se subconsciously opened the door with great force. Yu and the surprised subordinates immediately turned their heads towards the door.
"The Empress.." said Yu in a small voice.
Simultaneously all the bodyguards knelt in front of Se Se while bowing their heads.
"Yu, explain it to me! Why is His Majesty hurt? Wh who? Who was the one who hurt him like that? What is it makes sense for someone as strong as His Majesty to be injured while his guards... No, not the guards, but you... Why are you all so well here? What were you doing when my husband got hurt like that?" se Se said as he clenched his hands together as if holding back the emotions that had peaked.
"...."
All the guards were silent while looking down. It was obvious regret on their faces all especially Yu who was the personal bodyguard of King Wei.
"Why are you all quiet? Are you all mute?" said Se Se still with a high tone.
"Sir, this is all my fault. I have been negligent in carrying out my duty to look after His Majesty. Please punish me.." said Yu who was still down.
"The Empress, we're all guilty. Please just punish us all." replied the leader of the army.
"All of you will be punished. But before that, please explain what has happened to His Majesty!" said Se Se.
FLASHBACK
King Wei and Yu sneak into the Ximen family residence suspected of being Luo Luo's kidnapper. With all-black clothes and face coverings, the two of them searched for Luo Luo in all the rooms in the residence.
Late at midnight the guards began to fall asleep while standing in their respective guard, making King Wei and Yu more free to surround the residence.
After a night of searching at Ximen's residence, Yu finally found a basement that was behind the residence. Yu and King Wei killed the two guards who were in front of the underground entrance. They went underground after wearing the clothes of the two guards.
King Wei who first entered looked very surprised by the scene in the room. Dark room containing small girls to teenage and adult women.
All the women in the dark room were wearing the same clothes, clothes that were not even worth mentioning. They only wear a thin, transparent cloth to cover their skin that has been drenched in blood full of wounds from the face to the bottom of the legs.
"Your Majesty!" yu said in surprise after following King Wei.
King Wei and Yu stared at each other for a while before finally looking towards the women who looked frightened while enduring the pain.
"Your Majesty, we have to get out of here before the guards realize we are in this place" Yu said.
King Wei tightly gripped the sword he always carried while fighting. In King Wei's heart asked, "Do I have to leave all these women here?"
Not yet had the question answered, the sound of drums had filled the room. One of the guards had found the bodies of his two guard friends behind a bush. The large-bodied man immediately sounded the drum as a sign of an intruder entering the residence.
No one answered the question, the women who looked so tired and frustrated there showed no response at all.
King Wei looked around one by one the women who were still tied there while watching their facial expressions.
"Ming Luo Xi!" king Wei said after seeing a woman who showed great fear on his face as King Wei stood in front of him.
The woman immediately raised her face and then looked at King Wei.
"Ming Luo Xi's... Does she know that name?" ask King Wei.
"I..."
The woman looked down again, she stopped the answer she was about to give.
"Miss, are you named Luo Luo?" ask King Wei.
"..."
The woman went back to silence and answered nothing.
"Your Majesty, we must get out of here immediately" Yu said, reminding King Wei that their time is limited.
"Yes, take this woman!" king Wei orders while turning around.
"Miss, forgive my stupidity" said Yu.
Yu untied the woman who was thought to be Luo Luo. He took off his outer robe to cover the woman's body.
King Wei and Yu immediately left the Ximen family residence. They returned to the inn without any commotion. While the guards at Ximen's residence were busy chasing after King Wei's bodyguards who had been assigned to attract attention.
"Luo Luo, is that really your name Miss?" yu asked while giving a glass of tea to the woman in front of him.
"Are you assigned by Ming Luo Xi to bring me back?" asked Luo Luo.
"No, we just did as His Majesty ordered." replied Yu.
"Your Majesty? Was he the man who assigned you to take me to this place?" luo Luo asked as she turned her eyes towards Yu.
Yu nodded his head
"Then, what do you want from this lowly me?" asked Luo Luo.
"Do they want to make me a tool to bargain with Prince Ming Luo Xi?" luo Luo asked in her mind.
"We will return you to the Ming country." replied Yu.
"Why do you have to do that? What do you want from Prince Ming Luo Xi?" luo Luo asked with a suspicious face.
"Miss, you don't have to be that wasp! Your Majesty just wants to prevent war from happening, for the sake of protecting the people who will suffer if war happens then you, Miss Luo Luo, the lover of Prince Ming Luo Xi, you should immediately return to the Ming country!" yu replied firmly.
"the war? Whatdoes thatmean? How can I be a war decider?" inner Luo Luo.
"Brakkk!"
"Yu, get out of here! This place is surrounded!" yu's colleague shouted after breaking down the door.
