024 - Retaliation (1)

Alex, that's the name of the person who's embracing Romi's shoulder now. He is one of the students of Crow High School and he is also in class with Arya.

His face was handsome and he was popular among the students. But unfortunately, his attitude was like a delinquent who liked to act arbitrarily on students who were weaker than him.

He had done a lot of work, but there was no reprimand from the school because he was the son of one of the wealthy businessmen who funded Crow High School.

Although no one dared to mess with him, but there were three people who always dared to fight him every time they found out he acted, the three people were Arya, Rian, and Nanda.

"You're not gonna run away, are you?" ask Alex to make sure.

Romi and Danu were both silent so Alex became furious because the question was ignored. He also provoked Romi to make a sound by bringing his head closer to direct contact with Romi's head while asking once again.

"You're going there, right?" ask again.

"We-of course we're going there, right Danu?" romi replied while giving her the code to answer.

"L-yes, we're going there and that's for sure right now," he said after a while he finally caught the intent of the code given by Romi.

Alex looked at the two of them alternately for a while and then he walked past them.

"It's good then, if only you hadn't come, then you would have known the consequences!" threaten Alex.

Romi and Danu both swallow their saliva and immediately follow Alex. After some time, the three of them finally arrived at a park that was isolated by buildings built around it which resulted in it becoming unkempt again.

In the park there are many people in uniform Crow High School and Eagle High School are standing around something while cheering like they are watching something exciting. Romi who was curious tried to see it by climbing a footing that was rather high beside where he stood.

Although not clear, Romi managed to see there was a child in the uniform of Crow High School was being beaten unilaterally by someone who was bare-chested until finally he fell. Not long after, a triumphant cheer echoed in his ears.

"Avictor!" yell Alex.

As everyone cheering went silent, they turned to Alex and opened a path for him to head into the crowd.

"You just arrived? I thought you weren't coming, so sorry I started without you" Victor said, wearing his Eagle High School uniform again.

At once Romi and Danu shuddered in fear when they saw the person who spoke was Victor, the King of Delinquents who had never been caught.

"It's okay, no need to apologize to me, Victor. You can start anytime you want, I should be the one apologizing for being late."

Alex walked to the center and when he arrived in the middle of the crowd, he stopped his steps. He then stood up straight and tried to maintain his attitude so that his apology was accepted. 

Beads of sweat began to appear on his forehead and slowly became one until it flowed down his chin, whether it was sweat from his fear of Victor or from the scorching hot sunlight.

"Good!"

Victor then moved to the edge of the crowd and sat in the long chair there waiting for the opening show to begin, while Alex breathed a sigh of relief as he finally escaped death before him.

Without wasting any time, Alex calls Romi and Danu to the edge of the crowd. Alex pulls out Danu's collar and drops it into the crowd until it slips down to kiss the ground.

While enduring the pain, Danu tried to get up and look around her. Now he was in the middle of the crowd along with someone unknown who had just appeared before him.

The person wore an Eagle High School uniform and stood before him in a ready-to-fight position. His body was not big, but his posture managed to make Danu scared half to death until he was unable to move.

Alex walked to the edge of the crowd and explained something to Danu and Romi in a loud voice.

"Usually we held one-on-one-week-long personfighting to second-class slaves in each school. Anyone who managed to win ten times in a row, then his status as a slave would be revoked.

So, if you want to be free and don't want to be disturbed anymore, then fight here and win!" obviously Victor.

"Fight! fight it! fight it! fight it! fight it!"

All the spectators started cheering while stomping their feet to the ground, asking for a fight for them to watch. Instantly Danu and Romi who heard it were shocked and afraid of what they would face.

The voices of all the spectators slowly stopped as Alex gestured with his hand and he continued his explanation. 

"Because of your sister Arya, our Nanda got hurt and you as her sister had to pay for her actions!"

"What?! So you're doing this to us just because of that?" said Romi who does not believe in hearing the reason.

"Yes, why? Arya has been dealing with the mafia and involves Nanda to get her hurt. Maybe Arya won't come, so you and your friend will have to replace her to pay for what she did!" said Alex who immediately coupled with the cheers of the audience back.

"Stop him!" alex commands the man standing before Danu.

"Fight! fight it! fight it! fight it!"

The cheers were heard again and the person standing before Danu began to make the final preparations. His gaze was fixed towards Danu without caring for the cheers from the people around him.

Danu longed to ask her to reconcile, but her gaze looked like it was telling her that she had to win at all costs.

Danu then turned to Romi for a moment to ask for his help. However, as he looked back in front of him, a fist had been placed right in front of his face to give an opening greeting.

Buuk …!!
