028 - Punishment

Everyone in the room looked at Arya, waiting for an answer to the point that their bodies were as though they were sculpting.

Danu's body trembled, waiting for that answer restlessly and filled with fear. Every now and then he wiped away the cold sweat flowing with the handkerchief he was holding.

"Yes, that's right, I did," Arya replied firmly without hesitation.

Hearing the answer, everyone in the room was shocked. Moreover, Danu, her body instantly stopped coming out and left a relieved smile on her face.

"I told you, right! It was definitely he who had made my son like this!" said his father Danu who was angry while pointing Arya.

"Please stay calm!" said Mr. Dirga to calm his father Danu.

"Quiet down?! You're telling me to stay calm when the school authorities let a delinquent seem to be at school and hurt my son?"

Braak …!!!

Mr. Dirga kicked his desk strongly, so the atmosphere immediately became calm again.

"Arya, this is the second time you've made the biggest mistake of your time here at school. I've been the principal here since before you were here and actually I feel sad every time I hear you're in trouble.

"Looking at your changes from a few months ago, I thought you'd change for the better after the events of a year ago, but you didn't seem to. I'm Dirga as Principal of Crow High School, hereby suspending you for a week," 

"Suspended it?! That's too light! You better get him out of this school!" refute Danu's father who did not accept.

"I'm the principal here and I've already decided on the best punishment for him, so you have the right to be quiet!"

The words and tone of voice of Mr. Dirga managed to silence the mouth of his father Danu. He did not dare to argue anymore and could only hold back his anger while frowning as he was dissatisfied with the punishment given.

"It's over, right? Then I'll go first." Arya grinned and walked out casually from the room.

Moments after Arya came out, Mr. Alen then stood up and prepared to say goodbye to Mr. Dirga.

"Thank you very much for being kind and forgiving of my son's behavior, I am indeed an incompetent father" he said, bowing his body slightly to pay respect to Mr. Dirga.

"It is not necessary that Mr. Alen be like that, he is indeed different from Wulan, even he is already far behind him. But, whenever I saw her, I always thought of Wulan when she was in school here with Arya.

"I sensed that even though Arya was like this, she was a special child. So, please educate her even better, I also apologize for making you have to leave your job and come all the way here just because of a small matter like this,"

"It's okay, my job is done anyway, I'm sorry."

Mr. Alen ended the conversation and turned around to walk out while toting his briefcase. However, his father Danu suddenly appears before him and blocks his path.

"What do you want?" said Mr. Alen with a cold look.

"For this time, your son will be fine, but if it happens again then I'll make sure he ends up in jail, remember it's fine!" threaten Danu's father with a small voice.

Mr. Alen listened to the threat in a calm manner. Then, he replied calmly as well.

His father Danu could not say anything when he heard the reply and Mr. Alen began to step out calmly past his father Danu until he disappeared after leaving the room.

"Haaaaa …!!!" shouted his father Danu who was upset with the reaction and reply from Mr. Alen.

The next day, precisely on the day where all the second graders would go camping. Romi takes Danu to the back of the school. Danu who did not know the meaning of Romi's invitation did not suspect anything to him.

Buuk …!!

As soon as they arrived, Romi suddenly punched Danu in the stomach and pressed his body against the wall with a sharp look that was shown as if he wanted to hear a good answer.

Fortunately the place is quiet and there are only two of them there so Romi can do his actions without fear of being seen by people passing by.

"What are you doing?" danu asked after the pain in his stomach had lessened.

"Don't ask too many questions! Say it! What do you mean by lying about Aryan's brother who turned you on the head? Say it!" romi's orders were harsh.

"OK, but please let me go first, you know the wound on my body from yesterday's day after tomorrow is still not healed?"

Romi narrowed his eyes, then he was forced to immediately release and give him distance from him as a bonus.

"Actually yesterday after the people's fight was disbanded, Alex came to me and gave me an offer. If I keep my mouth shut and lie until Arya gets punished, then she'll promise never to bother me again," 

"So you did it because you were tempted by the offer?"

"I was forced, perhaps .. it was my only chance to get away from it."

The answer made Romi grit his teeth because he was upset with Danu. Romi never thought that his friend would do such a thing just to be free of Alex.

Little by little Danu's head began to look down at the face of Romi who looked angry with the actions he did.

"I don't want to be disturbed anymore, I .. I also want to go to school and live quietly like everyone else, is that wrong?" Danu.

"Wrongly? Indeed not! But this is not the way either! I also want to live a quiet life without being disturbed, but not in this way, he is my brother! Why would you do that to her?"

"Huh?! The sister? He never thought you existed, did you forget? You're just his step-sister. You should be thanking me because I gave her a sponsor"

A blow back launched Romi this time hit the heart of Danu very hard. Slowly Danu dropped herself to sit on the wall behind her because she could not bear the pain of the blow.

"Don't talk at will! You don't know anything, what if I'm just his half-sister?! My mother died four years ago and now I'm just a kara."

Both of Danu's eyes opened wide upon hearing that. He was friends with Romi from the beginning of High School, so he still doesn't know much about him. And now, he finally begins to understand why Romi continues to defend Arya and tries to approach her even though he never once thought Romi existed.
