The Reincarnation of the Knight of Light
005 - First Duty

Instantly around Arya who was originally light now slowly became pitch black until nothing could be seen. Then, a light like light from a floodlight lit up from above illuminated a large area with Arya in the middle. 

Arya had felt glare because of the light, but soon she realized that her surroundings had changed. The rusty old car that was originally around him had now disappeared and there was only a vast empty area with darkness outside the illuminated area.

A lamp again highlighted an area higher and some distance from Arya which was to her right. Arya turned her head over there and saw Andika standing there while looking towards her.

"Woi! What are you doing to me?! Where is this?"

"Welcome to my dimension" he replied as he spread his hand to the left and to the right.

"Dimensions?" 

"Right, this is a dimension formed by utilizing my special abilities. There are some points that became your first lesson today. First, agmar was a monster born in a world referred to as the Basic Dimension. They were wild and very bloodthirsty, especially people with spirit energy," 

"Hey, don't joke! get me out of here, you perverted glasses!"

"Shut up a minute! I'm not done explaining. Follow your heart that wants to be a hero and listen to me." 

After that, Arya fell silent and listened to her explanation.

"Secondly, in the human world there are also agmar, but they are born from the collection of negative emotions that humans release. Generally, humans know this type of agmar as ghosts, subtle creatures, and so forth. They don't attack humans, they only approach humans who have spirit energy to absorb that little bit of energy."

Andika ended her explanation and flicked her finger as soon as a light came back on and highlighted an area to the left of Arya. 

As soon as she turned her head there, Arya was a bit surprised to see that the lamp was actually highlighting a creature she had met while on the way, but her condition was now being bound by some yellow glowing chains that were constricting her.

"Th-that …,"

"That's the creature you just met on the street, I caught it. From my explanation earlier you should have known that it was agmar. Third, the agmar that humans call ghosts are level one agmar and they are not very dangerous, while the agmar of the Basic Dimension is level two agmar. 

"Fourth, agmar level two and above has the ability to move the world that can be concluded he was from the Basic Dimension. Different from agmar level one that can only be seen by humans who have spirit energy, agmar level two and above can be seen by anyone, including even ordinary humans. 

"Fifth, there is a Demon Hunter organization located in the world called Altera. They had the task of exterminating the level two and above agmar that appeared in the human world before endangering the other humans. They were a collection of humans born with spirit energy that they were able to produce.

"So, your first task is to eradicate the agmar. If you manage to do so then you can tell me not to deal with you and your friends anymore."

One of the several chains that held agmar was broken which resulted in one hand coming out and being pushed to the floor violently.

"Tu-wait first! How can I get rid of it?" 

"Let's look behind you."

Arya looked back and saw that there was a katana-shaped sword stuck on the floor that made her think to kill the agmar with the katana.

"Agmar level two and above is born from energy called dark energy. Ordinary physical attacks would not be able to injure them and the way to eradicate them was to use attacks mixed with dark energy or spirit energy.

"You have spirit energy like a Demon Hunter which is very rare for humans to have. So use the katana and imagine that you are flowing an energy to it, then by itself your spirit energy will flow into the katana.

"Oh yes, one more thing. Level one to level three agmar rather hate sunlight, therefore they act more often at night."

Ctas! 

One chain broke again and Andika turned around after a door suddenly appeared behind her as the second chain broke.

"I'll wait beyond this dimension, once you're done eradicating it you're out too. And tell me your choice, will you choose to be a world hero or remain a world loser?"

Again one chain again broke and Andika went straight from that dimension through the door that is now in front of her.

Andika did not care about it and now there is only her, a chained agmar, a stuck katana, and an exit from that dimension.

Groooooaaarr ...!!!

Arya looked back and saw only two chains were still holding the agmar. According to Andika's explanation earlier, she is now in danger because she has spirit energy.

With his strength, Arya turned around and immediately ran as fast as she could to grab a sword stuck in.

However, the last two chains ended up breaking simultaneously. The agmar immediately ran and then jumped towards Arya with her mouth wide open ready to swallow her roundly.

A slash!

A swing was made by Arya after she managed to pull out the stuck sword, making the agmar quickly jump back about 15 meters from her 

The agmar was preparing in his position with a view that was like staring intently at Arya. Shortly thereafter, the agmar jumped back at him.

Arya did not stay still, once the distance was close enough she immediately did a slash while avoiding it. As soon as it landed, the agmar immediately attacked again with both hands and so did Arya who dodged and attacked back.

In an attack, Arya was hit by a blow from agmar that made her bounce back. Luckily he landed on both feet so he could survive without getting seriously injured.

Groooooaaarr …!!!

"Damn! All my attacks have been unbearable. It's impossible! I could die here! Oh right, too."

The agmar roared again, he ran for a moment and again jumped towards Arya, preparing to pounce on her. Arya pressed both her legs firmly to the ground to create a small basin under her two feet. 

Then, Arya jumped high towards the agmar while swinging her sword and remembering Andika's words.

"Imagine you're flowing some energy."

An attack was carried out by Arya and this time the attack managed to cut off one front foot from the agmar.

"Hoam ... how much longer will it take to eradicate one agmar? Andika, have you explained all the basics of agmar and how to eradicate it?" tanya Torak was basking in the afternoon sun on top of a rusty old car.

Andika exhaled cigarette smoke from her mouth. "Huuft .. maybe."

Torak immediately got up after hearing it and turned his head towards Andika. "Maybe you said? What if he gets killed there? If he dies then our only hope of winning the prophecy will be completely lost," 

"Not to worry. If he was really the reincarnation of that banished light knight in the past, then surely he could have survived against a level two agmar."

"Well, that's it coming out," Andika said hearing the sound of the exit from her dimension opening. 

Torak and Andika immediately turned to look there and they were both shocked when they saw Arya who came out of the Andika dimension with unexpected conditions.
