The Reincarnation of the Knight of Light

The Reincarnation of the Knight of Light
004 - A Monster

Sunlight pierced through the curtains of Arya's room and soon she woke up with her eyes wide open. He looked at the white ceiling of his room and looked back and forth to see the entire room that had been brightly lit.

Arya sensed something strange, then she grabbed her phone and opened it to look at the clock her phone was pointing at now.

"At 13:20, I'm used to waking up at this hour on Sundays and on holidays. So this isn't weird."

Arya then got up and sat on her bed remembering the incident before she fell asleep.

"Wait on! Wasn't I talking to that old Bangka? But why do I wake up in my room during the day?"

Dizziness began to feel and he also returned to lay down on his bed. Today is Sunday, one of the holidays that are very much awaited by many people, except Arya who always feel bored and collapsed on a day like this.

He did not know where to go, a day like this Rian was always busy working, his other two friends were busy as well, and other than the three of them there was no one he could invite to spend time on this sunny day.

Suddenly his gaze was fixed on a letter that was on a small table beside his bed. He immediately grabbed the letter and read it in his heart.

"I know on a clear day you will feel lonely, if you ask me how I know it then the answer is from your great friend named Rian.

"So, instead of lying down 24 hours in your soft bed, you better go to the address listed on the back of the letter. Because I'm gonna turn you into a hero and I'm gonna help you face the destiny you're gonna have to face.

"Warm greetings from Torak handsome and brave."

Arya felt amused as she read the last line of the letter, it felt like she wanted to throw up. Then he turned the letter over and looked at the address listed on the back of the letter.

"It turns out to be a bit far from my house, but why would I go there? After all, the old man was a heretic. But, he had already made Rian participate in his heresy, I must act immediately and teach him a lesson!"

*****

A few minutes had passed, and now Arya was on her way to the address on the back of the letter she had found in the room.

During the trip, Arya senses that someone is following her, but this time when she looks back, Arya only finds some kind of ghost who only notices her from afar without daring to approach.

"What else is this time? Yesterday they chased after me like they wanted to eat me and now they're just watching you from afar? Haa .. I don't understand the thoughts of ghosts."

Arya didn't think much of it and immediately walked quickly to her destination. As she passed by an alley, Arya felt someone standing inside and stopped to confirm it.

There he saw a girl in black, shaggy, long and tangled hair standing in an alley with a downward-looking view.

Arya watched the child for a while because she felt something strange. Then, he slowly raised his head and revealed his two broad eyes while pointing towards him.

When he saw the child pointing at him, Arya suddenly felt something behind her in a short distance.

With sweat pouring out and his body now stiffened, Arya ventured to look back and saw a creature with black skin two meters high and sharp nails standing behind him in the shadow of the building with his mouth wide open.

The immediate danger could be felt and Arya immediately jumped to the side as the creature began to move to swallow it roundly.

Bruuk …!

"Damn! What the hell is that thing? It doesn't look like any ghost, does it come from the old Bangka?" aryan grumbled inwardly as he got up and ran away from the creature.

"Hey! The road uses eyes instead of feet!" said a pedestrian whose shoulder was accidentally hit by Arya.

After a while Arya ran into the crowd, she stopped for a moment and looked back to confirm the existence of the creature. Unfortunately, however, the existence is no longer visible.

"Where is that creature? Ha! He must be afraid of the crowd."

Arya again continued her journey quietly and finally she arrived at a large residence long abandoned by its owner with a two-meter-high concrete fence surrounding it.

Because it was long abandoned, the gate was rusty and the concrete wall was almost filled with vines. At first Arya felt hesitant to enter, but finally she ventured and pushed the gate that let out a loud sound typical of the old gate that was opened.

The first step he stepped through the gate and a scene that was different from the one he had often seen also looked as if he was hypnotizing his eyes.

On the page there are so many abandoned cars that are left behind with irregular positions, some of them are upside down, and some are in a position to hit other cars.

A large residence stands in the middle of the courtyard with conditions that are not much different from cars and unkempt fences. The windows and doors of the residence were broken and added on one side of the residence was destroyed like an explosion was trying to destroy it.

"You're coming too."

A voice suddenly rang out breaking the silence that occurred. Arya immediately turned to the source of the voice and found a bespectacled man leaning against one of the rusty old cars while sucking on a lit cigarette in his hand.

"You're the Glasses dragging me, aren't you?!" arya said while pointing at him.

"Don't call me that! My name is Andika, a former member of Division 4. I don't want to accept this assignment, but just for today I'm gonna teach you a lesson,"

"Lesson? Make what? I came here to see Old Bangka and teach her a lesson so as not to bring my friend Rian into your heresy again!"

"Are you sure that's the only reason you're here?" andika said with her cynical eyes.

"Of course,"

"No need to lie, I know that deep down inside you want to be a hero who saves the world and proves to everyone that you're not a loser, am I wrong?"

"So your mouth is! If you say 'Loser' again then I'll kill you!"

"Whatever, I will help you become a strong man to become a hero. Because it's …."

Andika's voice shrank and at the same time she took out a katana that she kept in a rusty old car in the back.

Sriyiv …!

Andika removed the katana from the sheath and said, "First gate: deceiver."

Instantly from the beginning, which was shaped like a katana sword, it now changed into a giant scythe with two blood-red sickle blades that turned back to each other.

"Circus technique: dimensional space" he said again.
