044 - Command

In a large room, there was a throne occupied by an elf with a crown on his head indicating that he was an Elf King. 

Beside him stood another elf with a stature much older than the Elf King who was the king's advisor as well as the Vice Chairman of the 1st Division named Nizan.

In front of them were eleven benches that had been occupied by the Division Heads. The bench is round and arranged into two rows each row of the bench is on the edge of the red carpet that leads to the throne.

Although there were eleven benches, only the first bench was not occupied. While the other ten benches were occupied by ten Division Heads who wore the typical black uniform of a Demon hunter with another robe covering on it, he said, the robe was green and behind it was the emblem of the elven kingdom and the figure of the division they led.

"Because all the Chiefs have been present, I hereby declare the Division Chairman meeting to begin!" said Nizan who stood beside the throne in a loud voice.

"Kanami, a rank 9 Demon hunter of the 7th Division is invited in to give a report!" said again.

A moment later the door to the large room opened and Kanami entered slowly while keeping her way. When he reached the middle of the two rows of chiefs, he immediately knelt down to pay his respects to all who were in the room, especially to the Elf King sitting on his throne.

"My respect to His Majesty and the Division Chairmen, I am Kanami ranked 9th from Division 7 coming to report. 

"I was the only survivor of the troops assigned to hunt agmar with code G-34 who escaped from the laboratory of Division 11.

"In the course of the mission, I met an unregistered Demon hunter, he had a soul blade like most Demon hunters. But I sensed there was a dark energy within her that was likely a witch,"

"really? If he was a magician how could he have a soul blade? Witches have been waging a rebellion for 400 years and ten years. Does that mean ... soon the human Demon hunter army will also revolt?" said an elf named Kai who sat on the sixth bench.

"Please take care of your words Chairman Kai, your words can exacerbate the problems that we are all facing right now" replied another elf named Seira from the fifth bench.

"Quite Kai!" snapped the Elf King who immediately made Kai immediately lowered his head and began to ponder the words he had spoken.

"Your words are true, but you can't just talk like that. Since a few generations ago the position of division head has been filled by human Demon hunters, and now most of those positions have been filled as you witnessed today, it shows that we need them" he said. 

Kai directed his gaze to the bench of the other division heads filled by the Demon hunters of the human race. They displayed a sense of annoyance on their faces as a result of the words Kai uttered. 

"I've said it many times, we must eliminate the discriminatory attitude towards the Demon hunter human race in order for the events of 400 years ago and the events of ten years ago not to be repeated again. 

"And Kanami, finish your report and explain in more detail what you know about the Demon Hunter you call it" the Elf King ordered.

"Good! During my mission, I had a chance to meet with high-class fugitives Torak and Andika and a lower-class fugitive who recently had his arrest order just circulated, namely Rena.

"The "unregistered demon hunter had a level of strength equivalent to a level one Demon hunter and he seemed to have a close relationship with Rena.

"The demon hunter failed to kill the agmar and then Torak came and defeated him easily. Torak and Andika let me go back to Altera just like that.

Kanami saluted the Elf King and everyone else in the room, after which she turned around and walked out until the door to the room that was opened for her to exit was finally closed again.

The Elf King who had been sitting on his throne had now stood up and started to say something after hearing the report from Kanami.

"According to the report Kanami gave, I .. Tirta .. as the Elf King who controls Altera and Chairman of Division 1. It is hereby assigned Eden as the 8th Division Chairman and Dante as the 10th Division Chairman to go to the human world and capture the lower class fugitive, Rena.

"Maybe avoid Torak and Andika, if you consider it necessary, bring your division members as necessary to guard against the attacks of the witches. And one more thing, catch Rena alive because we still need her so that the gems of life can be quickly found."

Now the day has become an afternoon with orange light that colors the sky. Andika walked home to her residence with a cigarette lit in her hand and smoked occasionally during the trip.

Andika stepped her feet towards the large residence that stood in the middle of the courtyard with its condition that was also unkempt and on one side was crushed like there was an explosion that had once tried to destroy it.

As soon as Andika almost reached the entrance of the House, suddenly the door was opened from the inside by an old man with gray hair that had filled his head. The old man was none other than Torak.

Torak realizes the presence of Andika who is his only student who lives with him and starts walking towards him in a stylish step like an artist on television.

"Torak, someone wants-"

"Hey …!! Why are you taking so long? I've been waiting for you since I found out," cut Torak with his style of speech that suddenly became tacky.

"Oh no .. no longer," Andika said as she covered her eyes with one hand in embarrassment.
