The Rise Of Legend [LIGHTNING]

The Rise Of Legend [LIGHTNING]
Chapter 1: WHAT YOU MEAN TO ME

Lily Village. A small patch of land that has only a hundred permanent residents. Most were those who were thirty and above and small children. Even so, Lily Village was able to meet daily needs by farming and trading.

Pulling south for a few miles from Lily Village, behind a small hill, dense trees and thick fog in the morning, a waterfall cascades down. On the cliff there is a second-story building patterned faded magenta. At first glance like a small castle that is old and mossy. But in it, lived an adult woman and a thirteen-year-old child.

“El! Get off soon before I lose my temper and leave you alone tonight!”

The somewhat tall tone of a beautiful adult woman was already enough of a threat to the little boy she called. The rush sounded with a noise. The woman had already let out a sigh of annoyance when the sound of a cry sounded from above.

“BIBI! I'M COMING!”

YOGG!!!

With incredible quick reflexes the summoned Aunt instantly shifted from the previous place— avoided the figure of the short-haired boy falling right on his horse carriage.

“Aduh..”.

The fallen boy whined long on his hands and knees that were propped up on the roof of the carriage. Lucky not to ambrol. The aunt shook her head to see the behavior of the child. He pulled the boy up and checked if anyone was hurt. Niente. The whites are clean unless there's a red hue in there.

“Other people will break bones in their hands and feet, El. But do it again and I will gladly break it for you.” Said the Aunt coldly with a small snort.

El, the thirteen-year-old boy with short hair, smiled wily, “I'm fine Auntie, thanks for worrying.” He said it was a joke but on target. El did not hold back his laughter when he saw the aunt throw away her face with red ears.

“Already quiet, bad boy, want me to stay?”

Choosing not to tease her aunt further, El got off the roof of the carriage and jumped on the steering wheel with the aunt controlling the harness. The next state of silence was only heard the crackling of the train wheels rubbing against the ground and rocks. In that state, El took out a brownish book from the bag and began to read it.

Ellena Ellyzzia's. It was the full name of the thirteen-year-old boy. For some reason since she was a little girl, Emily Ellyzzia or commonly called Auntie Em, raising Ellena like a boy. It seems that people who know the duo's aunt and nephew must think Ellena is a boy because of her hair that continues to be cut short, wearing pants and body rather high and not contained in certain parts than other girls. Ignoring her white skin and beautiful face for a boy as well as green eyes like emerald stone.

Being used to living like a man doesn't interfere with Ellena's life. He was even happy. He learned every day what his aunt taught him like hunting animals, searching for medicinal herbs, farming or even assembling and building things. Living hard like a man makes Ellena think independently and more mature than children her age.

And of course, Auntie Em also kindly teaches common sense (common sense) from her own books or teachings. Ellena was so lucky to have her broad-minded aunt by teaching her reading and writing, she said people couldn't live well by being stupid. As a result he became very happy to read the abundant books of the private library in their Del Selto mansion. The most pleasant thing was the knowledge from Em's own aunt.

Her aunt knows a lot of things.

The sun is getting up on the head. Ellena squirmed slightly from her seat after three hours of her wisdom reading the book. During that time they still had not passed a quarter of the way to Lily Village and the nearest town. The train runs slowly because the cargo is heavy and heavy.

Emily Ellyzzia is a great sculptor. In their old mansion, Auntie Em had her own place to work on her sculptures that even Ellena had never entered. Even so Ellena really likes all the creations of the aunt. From the shape of small animals such as birds and squirrels to large sizes such as deer and human size.

The most popular on the market is the human statue. Somehow Auntie Em made it, everyone even Ellena was impressed with the really nice human statue of Aunt Em that people thought was a real human being.

The statues are usually displayed in large shops or even in village gardens. Auntie Em rarely makes personal orders, she says she doesn't like being set up by someone and being chased by time. But on several occasions, the aunt granted a request for a statue in return or certain circumstances.

Therefore, even though Auntie Em looks cold and mysterious out there, people who know her always try to be on her good side. From that little request, Ellena wondered why her aunt would grant the request of a middle-aged male Bar owner who wanted a statue of a naked girl.

“We will rest the horses. El, you can wander around and find useful plants to store and sell. Especially blue star flower plants, this week is the time they bloom.” Aunty Em said as she led horses to eat and drink,

“Good, I'll be right back.” Ellena said excitedly and rushed to look at the corners of the trees and rocks.

Ellena and her aunt live in the Outer forest, the most marginal part of SunieRise. This forest could be said to be a vast land untouched by the inhabitants of Shinetheria, the Empire of land on foot. No one had ever lived to tell how the inside of SunieRise was, or at least no one had managed to explore it yet. All the people who tried to explore SuniRise, most of them never came back. The luckiest people –people who only reach the Outer forest even though the Outer forest alone is already dangerous.

Once again, Ellena never bothered herself to ask her aunt about the reason for their residence being in the danger lair.

Traveling to villages and towns to sell the statues of aunt Em is very far and boring. With their current speed, it took them three days to get to Lily Village and half a day to the nearest city. But from the age of seven, Ellena found a way to get rid of her boredom.

Collect medicinal plants, rare fruits that exist only in the Outer forest, poisonous insects that can be caught and stored and various other things. Outer Forest may be dangerous, but it is also a natural paradise that is abundant for those who know it.

In addition, by her aunt, Ellena was also taught to use weapons. A small knife is his toy. In addition to Ellena's always special eyes, her throw never misses. Ellena could see everything very clearly. He could always knock his opponent down from afar just by attacking their weak point.

Speaking of that, Ellena gave up looking for blue star flowers and turned to collecting other plants. When it is cool to collect Itchi moss, the main ingredient makes itchy feet. This medicine is very common especially the men, especially the soldiers.

Ellena stops when she senses someone is scouting her. Tinkering with eyes, Ellena observed who dared to approach. Between the bushes, a pair of eyes blending.

Unafraid, Ellena returned that hungry-eyed look defiantly. Know when it was discovered, finally the creature behind the bush came out. The sound of his growl was thrilling coupled with a row of sharp canines.

A black wolf. Mature size. A one-meter-tall beast that never stopped foraging. There were many different types of wolves in the Outer forest but the black fur wolf was a little special.

The more the black wolf grew the more the wolf became not full and perhaps this wolf therefore broke away from its herd and hunted alone.

Ellena did not run. Slowly he pulled out a toothed knife while his left hand quietly patted the small backpack on his waist—making sure it was there and ready to use whenever needed.

Then the big wolf ran straight to attack. Ellena's feet put on strong horses and her hands meticulously threw two small flying knives into the eyes of the hungry wolf.

The animal growled furiously from its blindness and attacked by relying on its nose. Ellena had no intention of finishing her blades, so she dodged the claws and the wolf attack quickly and then as she let her guard down she swung the serrated blade in her hand and weaved right at the wolf's neck. Ellena immediately rolled away dodging a brazen attack. His emerald eyes were pinching to see his opponent now neighing on the ground with his neck nearly severed and blood pouring down.

“Sorry guys, I'll end your pain soon.” Ellena advanced with a powerful swing on her left leg and kicked the dying wolf with her right leg until her opponent fell down. Not stopping, Ellena stepped on the wolf's snout and cut off his neck.

The lone wolf died. Leaving a now grim thirteen-year-old boy.

“Hehe, can catch pretty good.” Said happy.

After pulling her two knives back from the wolf's eyes, Ellena took the rope out of her waist backpack and tied the wolf so she could easily drag it to her aunt Em.

“Auntie, I'm back and look what I got.” Ellena exclaimed with a row of teeth on her face.

Emily Ellyzzia raised her eyebrows.

The sight of the boy re-educating him with satisfactory results is not new. Ellena could always gather all the useful items in the forest in large quantities as if they had just appeared in front of her.

For the animals themselves, usually Ellena will come with live animals. Most are cute or poisonous little animals. While a wild animal, Emily always accompanied Ellena in her hunt to ensure the safety of the boy who had been considered her son. Because it found Ellena managed to kill her prey without serious injury, honestly rather surprising but inevitably she felt proud.

“Adult black fur wolf. Good job you didn't hurt his body so we can get good quality fur skin.” Said aunt Em judging Ellena's catch and patting her younger head. Bak got gold, Ellena cheeks red so happy to be praised by her aunt.

“Very good, Ellena.”

Happiness for Ellena is simple. Enough she is alive and can be useful to her aunt, she already feels enough. She may not be an adult yet but Ellena knows enough about what Emily means to her.

A Mother, father, brother, aunt and friend.

Ellena won't ask any questions, she can close her eyes on anything as long as her only family remains with her.

Forever.
