The Rise Of Legend [LIGHTNING]

The Rise Of Legend [LIGHTNING]
Chapter 29 Surprised on A Tattoo

Nayla resigned after finishing the examination today. The Elf woman had to go join her friends doing her daily activities.

Ellena had changed bandages on her body and head and was wearing a loose-fitting plain green shirt. All the process was assisted by Nora who then passed to make food.

The day went by as Ellena saw the Andezs enter her room again. The man said to have lunch with her and Nora because the other Elves did not eat the same food as humans.

"Ehem. El, about what Nora said earlier I can explain" Andesz said after opening the conversation in silence since a simple lunch began.

Ellena glanced for a moment, "Hm."

What do those two letters mean? Why does Andesz feel Ellena is becoming more annoying and unstable than ever before? Does long hair affect the temprament of Ellena to the likeness of Luxia? Women are really complicated.

Andesz explains best that he did not mean to harass Ellena and purely just a little bully Nora who did not want to open her mouth about Ellena's long hair.

Ellena nodded lazily, "Other times I'll hit you if I bully Nora once again." her words that should be fearful just sound weird for using a lazy tone. This girl still hasn't received her lost space bag.

Andesz quietly sighed in relief. At least he had made sure Ellena wasn't mad at him anymore.

"But El why do you look like a man?"

"Why do you ask so many questions?"

Andesz immediately folded his mouth. In his heart he continued to say 'patient patience' while thinking that this brat in front of him was the key to the success of his mission.

"If you don't want to answer, that's fine." True, as a more mature and sane Andesz has very right to succumb.

But as if not wanting the topic to recede, Ellena undermined Andesz with a counterattack, "If you tell me your reason for using modifying magic, I'll think about it."

Andesz breathed. It was a bit gnarly in fact, but once he continued to cast the 'patient' spell in his heart, "My original appearance was too conspicuous. It's hard to move with this look."

The way Andesz said implied that he was too beautiful that anyone would look twice as he passed by, Ellena was eager to sneer at him but her mouth was still working grinding food.

"Mr Andesz does look different. Like the nobleman in the paper."

Neither Ellena nor Nora deny that the original Andesz form is extraordinary. The previous modifier magic completely unravels the Andesz strangeness of ordinary good-looking, shorter and thinner bodies.

Now Ellena must admit that Andesz is the most handsome man she has ever met (well actually Ellena also never met a handsome man, just enough to look at it). His height is now only limited to Andesz's chest. And that body, more muscles sprung up in his arms and his chest was more fielded.

Lastly, the man's silvery-white hair was clearly unusual. Most of the people Ellena met were black-haired, brown and sand blond. Ellena herself would stare at the old Andesz when she met on the streets of the city.

"Let me guess, you're a son or even the heir to one of the noble families who's been going around. You're on a mission in order to qualify from your family?"

The Andesz perfect table manner that seemed to be misplaced immediately came to a halt and the man looked directly into Ellena's eyes. The girl smirked little, "I'm right?"

Ellena cheered inwardly as her guesses fenced off the Andesz. Jeez apparently heard Xeain's rant and long story about his former life in the Capital City before becoming a useful soldier as well.

Andesz had no idea why it felt like he kept losing to the thirteen-year-old. Surprisingly Andesz did not mind as long as Ellena's behavior could still be tolerated.

Is it because of that familiar face?

"You're so smart to guess," It's not exactly right but Ellena doesn't need to know, "Where did you learn the magic of the changer? Since when do you use it?"

Transformer magic is a high-level magic that is generally only used by level 7 to 9 magicians. These types of witches were very few in number because basically humans had no trace of magic in their bodies. There were only one to 2 magicians in each region of the Shinetheria Empire and only a tier 7 at the highest. Level 9 is said to be just a level that no magician will be able to penetrate right now.

Andesz has an artifact from his family. This artifact has the function of changing the shape of the wearer at will without the need to become a witch. Of course, the artifact is a rare item that is not sold anymore.

Feeling Andesz's question meant nothing, Ellena answered him easily, "Since I was 7 years old from aunt Em."

"Mrs Em can magic? What level?" andesz asked in surprise to hear the owner of The M's shop was a witch.

"Don't know. Aunt Em always nudged me if I asked." Ellena's lips moved slightly when she recalled her childhood of Emily's affection.

"I'm sure El's sentilan must have descended from Madam." Nora said suddenly.

Ellena nodded her head in affirmation, "You're lucky that I'm not Em's aunt, Nora."

Imagining Emily flinching her, Nora immediately shuddered and shook her head strongly. He'll die if he gets hit by Madam Em's flick.

"El, don't you know what your magic means?"

Ellena looked at Andesz as if she was a fool, "Yes that means I can change my hair and color. Having long hair is a bitch." Had it not been Emily who asked Ellena not to cut her hair, Ellena would not have painstakingly learned the magic of the changer. The spell is long.

"It's not so much a boy!" long ago Andesz was exasperated as well, "That means you have the potential to become a witch-No! You've automatically become a level 7 magician if you can use the magic of the changer."

Ellena and Nora had no idea what to react to when Andesz laughed to himself.

"Say! What other magic can you do? Can you use flying magic?"

Ellena's head shook.

"Flum magic?"

Ellena returned to her head.

Still shaking.

"..."

Emerald Ellena's eyes pricked innocently.

"You don't have any magic except the magic of the changer?"

Finally Ellena nodded her head. But the enthusiastic twinkle that was fiery in the blue eyes of the Andesz instantly vanished. "El, don't tell me you really only know magic changer."

Whether pity or what, Ellena answered truthfully, "I once learned fire magic, but because of that time I almost burned the courtyard of the house along with its forest, he said, Aunt Em confiscated all the spell books and pressed me on physical exercise. Now I don't memorize any more spells other than magic changer."

After all Ellena learned magic because it was purely so that her hair was short and not purple.

It's really that simple.

Despite growing up, on Ellena's eleventh birthday, Emily gave the whole book of magic to Ellena to learn on her own. Unfortunately, all the precious books are lost with Ellena's old bag

It felt like Ellena wanted to destroy something when she remembered her precious bag was gone.

Andesz let out a long sigh, "You look disappointed." the man shook his head, "My fault is hoping for you."

Ellena was not hurt to hear that. It really doesn't matter.

Now it was Ellena's turn to ask.

"Now, you two, explain to me what happened to the three of us? And where are Max, Kirein and Luxia?"

Both the Andesz and Nora stopped chewing their food. The two eyes glanced at each other before staring at Ellena compactly.

"El, don't you ever feel like there's anything weird about you?" andesz asked suddenly.

"Excuse me, did you just say that to me?" emerald Ellena's eyes looked cynically at the older man.

"Yes Gods. Not that! You mean don't you think you're too different from most people?!"

"..."

"I'm watching you El. You have more stamina for a boy your age - let me finish!" Ellena clenched her mouth quickly. Andesz ruffled his white hair, "Even though it sucks but I admit that you have a high level of intelligence. Your body that rarely hurts and quickly regenerates and lastly..." Andesz observes Ellena's past-goals, "Your eyes El, they're special."

Andesz's last sentence is not a question but a statement. For a moment Ellena did not budge. All the Andesz words penetrated his brain and allowed all that.

"What does this have to do with my question?"

"I'm almost there. Lastly, really lastly, look at your right arm."

Ellena immediately revealed her sleeve and saw what was there. When she found something strange there, Ellena was really surprised.

"You guys got my tattoo?!" peeker Ellena couldn't believe it.

A tattoo was engraved on his arm. Tattoo of a tree inside a circle.

"Not me." cried Nora shook her head quickly.

Andesz closed his eyes, he almost roared and flipped the dining table when, again, he did not remember this boy in front of him. Peculiar. There must be a lot of patience.

Oh God, if Kirein were here. Andesz does not need to explain this at length. He just accepts to be.

"Nobody fucked me. Nayla and the other Elves also have nothing against you!" again Andesz silenced Ellena before the girl protested, "No El, that tattoo appeared on your arm after we got here!" Andesz was just sitting down but why was his chest panting like he was running? God fucking.

"You're saying this tattoo just popped up?"

"Ayeah!"

"Okay, just say it. But I'm still blind to seeing this connection with what happened to us?!"

Andesz can't take it anymore, "THAT'S YOUR THING, El! YOU MOVED US ALL HERE!"

Ellena's eyes widened. He showed himself.

"Teleport(Teleportation). Ability to move in an instant. An ability that has long been lost and exists only in ancient records. You're El... "

Andesz looked straight at Ellena.

"The tattoo explains who you are. You are one of the Guardian Divernias. And Lightning is your strength."
