The Rise Of Legend [LIGHTNING]

The Rise Of Legend [LIGHTNING]
Chapter 4 Merchandise with Feet and Hands.

Ellena was on her way back to the village when the sun had completely disappeared in the western horizon. It was night time and Ellena had finished completing the mission as well as any problems that might arise in the future.

Ellena's conjecture about eel nests is true. In the conscious river, covered twigs, plant fibers and also mucus out of nowhere, a hole contains many flaccid eggs. The eggs of the eel are fused in the protection of yellow mosquito nets.

Bringing the eggs to land is not easy. Ellena had to repeatedly rise to the surface very when she could not hold her breath any longer. No matter how many times the girl disguised as a man dived but in the end, Ellena managed to bring the eggs ashore or destroy them with a knife when she missed one or two eggs.

Considering the eggs could also be sold, Ellena deliberately did not destroy them all. He was quite happy with his hunt and was whiny at imagining how much money he was getting. But that thought instantly vanished when it dawned on night.

The distance between the river and the village is not far. Ellena could arrive immediately if she ran as hard as she could. The darkness of the night did not complicate her eyesight because Ellena could see in the dark though. But as if wanting him to come home even more late, the sky lowered its rain. Very dense until the ground quickly wet and pooled and turned to muddy.

“Perfect. It's too late for me. May Linda not be silent aunt at this time.” Without Ellena knowing, Linda was suffering from inner pressure in the Guild.

Ellena didn't let her body get any wetter. He climbed the tallest and shady tree he found. Breaking a few branches with his hands and knife then took out a one-meter-long sheeting from his small bag and tied it above his head. In a moment Ellena had built a tree house that was too simple but enough for one person. Ellena judged her work ugly but at least in this way she would not be too wet with rainwater.

Lightning problems. Ellena is no problem. The lightning was noisy but Ellena was not afraid. Aunt Em always advised her to be alert to lightning because it was possible that lightning was her enemy. She was six years old and until now Ellena had no idea what she meant. But really, lightning is not a threat.

One lightning bolt knocked down a tree just fifty meters away.

“Well I pull again. The power of lightning was terrifying and terrifying. Cool..”

One must have called it crazy for flattering the thunder in the sky. But after that no more lightning struck until it threatened his soul.

A loud shock occurred to the freight train carrying it. He grimaced in pain as his body was continuously shaken to the right and left even nudging hard at someone beside him. Either who it was, all he knew, someone beside him also fared the same as him.

Bound and battered all over the body.

Then the sound of heavy rain and thunder sounded. The pace of the freight train swallowed and he heard the annoyed cries and swearing of the bastard men that for life he would not forgive.

“Sial! Why should it rain now?!” grumble one man.

“Ck! With heavy rain like this, it is difficult for us to spawn rain in front.”

“You mean you want us to stop here? You insane? We can be caught by the villagers.”

“You how else? Look ahead, the streets are muddy! Forcing the train to walk, it would wrongly damage the wheels of the train! More trouble where, HA?”

The mouths of some men continued. Until the most emphatic and cruel sounding male voice speaks, “We stop and continue to leave in the early morning. I want four people around. Kill when someone sees us. The rest, make sure none of our merchandise is blurred.”

“SIAP BOS.”

Merchandise.

His hands clenched tightly in the strings that bound him. Her green eyes glinted furiously at those who casually made herself ‘trading’.

He wants to escape.

He wanted to be free from heartless and cruel people like them.

And he prayed that the gods might hear his prayer and send down terrible punishments for those who have lost their humanity.

While waiting for the rain to subside, Ellena spent her time in vain.

He tried to sleep but the dew of rain and the gurgling of water did not let him sleep. Humid places are not suitable places to sleep.

Ellena tries to fill the time by opening her book, trying to kill time by reading. But it again failed because Ellena did not want her precious book to be wet and dry ugly.

Or trying to sharpen his knives. But after a few minutes, Ellena lost interest as her knife could not get any sharper. That little weapon could pierce through the trunk of a tree even if Ellena wanted to.

The only good thing is that Auntie Em is not here right now. If her aunt knew she was wet while hanging on a tree like an ape, surely her call for the next month would be “Kera Lusuh”.

Who likes to be called a monkey?

Life is hard. Especially if you have an aunt like Emily Ellyzzia.

“—*Kill when anyone sees us. The rest, make sure none of our merchandise is blurred.”

“SAY BOS*”

Ellena's attention was distracted. The voice of a group of men not far from him aroused curiosity as well as alertness. Especially the word ‘kill’ that he had heard earlier.

Ellena quickly removed the tarp and climbed higher up the tree. Along with that, a large-bodied adult man passed under with a large axe in his hand.

“Hm..”

Ellena was grateful that the rain removed the footprints and disguised her presence. Although her body must now be soaked but Ellena's instinct says she must be careful.

Fighting beasts and humans are two different things. The monsters Ellena had faced all along must have been weaker than her or slightly stronger than her. And the savage beast did not have such high sense that after some observation it could figure out its weak point.

While fighting with humans who are clearly high-sense is troublesome. Especially if the person was an adventurer and ranked higher than him.

Could Ellena beat one but her friends? Ellena would rather go home soaking wet than go home with a name. Ellena fears that she will not die peacefully because Em's aunt will raise her alive again only to be killed with her own hands.

It was an Emily Ellyzzia.

Different men passing back-same-same ugly are just another type. This time the guy cungkring, long-haired bound and carrying celurit. The man stayed for a long time right at the tree that Ellena stopped by. The girl grumbled and asked inwardly for the ugly man to step away from there.

Then the lightning came back. Ellena and the man down there were both shocked because the lightning struck the tree on the side until it collapsed. Ellena glared with her heart pounding. The ears are a bit stiff because of the sound of explosions.

“Fucking driver!”

Afraid of being the victim of a lightning strike and having the same fate as a fallen tree and a scorch, the ugly man finally left until Ellena could sigh in relief.

He looked at the sky and said with a crazy smile, “Petir! You are kereeen..”

Ellena survived long enough on the tree with heavy rain hitting her body. Then when it was felt that her body was no longer strong enough to withstand the burden, Ellena decided to recklessly return to the Guild. Foolish with soaking wet or something, anyway he's also soaking wet. Aunt Em's punishment doesn't matter either. Sleeping in a stable is much better than the cold and wetness of a pitiful ape.

Ellena carefully went down the branch until she stepped on the muddy ground with the water pooled. Her emerald eyes looked around, making sure the men were not there and quickly left.

“...make sure none of our trades are blurred!”

Ellena stopped running. His memory is too good considering the speech of one of the men with a cruel voice.

Blurred trading?

Where is there any merchandise that can escape? Do you have legs and walk on your own?

Except.the merchandise does have legs to walk on. And have two hands. Two eyes. One nose. And one mouth.

“Damn it! They sell humans!” as if Ellena is arrested.

Ellena was always warned by Em's aunt to stay away from human trafficking syndicates. These perpetrators usually targeted small children and women for their organs, sold as slaves or prostitutes to brothels.

Emily said that Ellena's appearance was very suitable and entered the category of merchandise worth thousands of gold at auction. Either Ellena should be happy or sad because of it.

So Ellena should have sped up her run and immediately returned to the Guild. If he were to quickly report this matter surely the Guild side would act. The problem is time. I don't know when this rain will be. I don't know until when the human trafficking syndicates that happened to pass by stop here.

“Aunt Em, I'll be home before midnight.” Wanted so. Ellena knew the sky would not deliver her message to her aunt but the habit from childhood was hard to lose.

Then Ellena's second foot turned around. Under the torrent of rain that she hated, Ellena was staking around and hoping to do something to those bastards who didn't deserve to go to heaven.

May Ellena not regret her actions today.
