The Rise Of Legend [LIGHTNING]

The Rise Of Legend [LIGHTNING]
Chapter 5 The Punishment of Heaven

The night is getting cold. The thunder and rain have not stopped. The sobs of bated crying raged miserably inside a freight car.

One of the trades, a green-haired and green-eyed boy, was in just as miserable a state as the other. Both his legs and hands were tied, his mouth was covered with cloth, his body dirty and his clothes shabby. But even so, in one glance it could be known that the boy had an attractive face.

The lightning returned.

Whether the sky was happy or wrathful, the thunderbolts did not get tired of showing its devastating power. Is lightning trying to show off? That crazy thought just crossed even though it was instantly forgotten.

Some trees have become victims and become charred and then collapse. This time the lightning struck a tree close enough to this place until the horses pulling the carriage shrieked loudly.

“Hei! Oi! Oi! Calm those horses!” exclaimed an owner of a cruel voice. He's the leader here.

The four-legged animal screamed loudly because it was shocked to jump to stand on two hind legs. As a result the car also lifted and some merchandise on the edge fell to the muddy ground.

Soon the men on guard lifted the poor bodies back into the carriage. “Shut up at your place, damn it!” swearing at one of them after slamming roughly a young woman who was enduring pain.

That person then joined his comrades to calm the horses who did not want to calm down.

Unaware of any merchandise slipping deep into the bushes. His body was tightly cupped by a pair of foreign hands that had beautiful emerald stone eyes.

Ellena remembered she was only a thirteen year old boy. Still kids. It is not the age of seventeen that according to the laws of the government is the age of adulthood. But Auntie Em always said she was smarter than a kid her age. She is more ingenious and powerful thanks to her aunt's hellish upbringing and training.

But..is Ellena's decision to deal with a group of people she suspects are human trafficking syndicates correct? By himself? Ellena was already crazy.

But late. Ellena could not return. The scene before him confirmed his conjecture. And it was highly unlikely that he could leave this place as if he knew nothing.

No. gabe. That's not him. At least before handing it over to the adults, Ellena had to do something. Butwhat? Asking lightning to strike them?

CTARR

Ellena closed her ears tightly and looked at the sky. His eyes flickered suspiciously at the dark, overcast sky above. Had thought it crazy that the lightning could hear the sound of his heart but soon he ignored it.

Ellena saw the horses screech in shock at the lightning and made the carriage look back. Some things fell from the freight train. His eyes bulged as he looked at the fallen not objects but HUMAN BODIES!

One of the merchandise slipped down close to the bushes Ellena was hiding in. So he quickly pulled the body of a boy, whom he had predicted was five years old, and hid it with him. His hand shut the boy's mouth so as not to make a sound. Right after Ellena pulled the boy, a man came and raised another falling merchandise.

Ellena's eyes glared at the bastard when she heard the agonizing ringing of the bodies she threw.

‘Tap! Aunt Em wasn't even that cruel!’ Ellena didn't think anyone could be more ruthless than aunt Em. ‘May you be struck by lightning until it is destroyed!’

Like a torment from heaven, after his mind cried out so, lightning bolts came down again. This time it wasn't the target tree, but the humans he cursed just now.

“AARGHHH”

The sound of explosions and rain disguised the final screams of the perpetrators of the human trafficking syndicate. Once. Twice. Three times. Ellena did not count the number of times the thunderbolts struck as the first moment of the explosion rang out, Ellena had ducked to the ground and hugged the boy she saved while closing her eyes and ears tightly.

As if dissatisfied, the wind was blowing even harder. A wind storm accompanied by lightning raged over the sky. The night sky looked terrifying as it was full of dark clouds and was unceasingly spewing out lightning strikes.

The hearts of all living beings must have been pounding at the sound of the lightning. So with Emily who felt her chest tight as if there was a rock pressing. The beautiful and sexy middle-aged woman looked back at Linda, the poor Admin Guild.

Linda almost jumped from where she stood, “N-Mrs E-Em. Be tena-nang. S-I'm sure El pa-definitely okay.” Emily looked more and more at Linda who was getting pale.

Oh who's Linda dustai? Although not very familiar with Madam Em, she knew this woman in front of her had a close bond with her nephew. Everyone in Lily Village knew that no one dared to mess with El because this one aunt could bring hell if she wanted to.

Rather than El, Linda was worried about herself. She was the last person to revolt with El, and if anything bad happened to the boy it was certain that this one aunt would make the calculations.

Moreover he's the one who suggested the mission of the damn eel!

Is that woman gonna strangle him to death? Linda hopes the process is not painful because she deserves to be punished if El up to why.

“Yes, let El return safely so that your servant can breathe tomorrow.’

“FIRE! LILY FOREST BURNED BY LIGHTNING!”

The shout instantly gained the attention of everyone within the Guild. Then people left their teeth and crowded out the Guild building.

Emily's one of the guys out. He felt that the screams made no sense. Rain fire in the middle of a storm? What's that shit?

“That place is close to the river.” Emily turned her head quickly to Linda who had just made a soft smile.

Soon she pulls Linda's shoulder, “What? Tell me clearly what you just said Linda!”

Linda's body shook under Emily's sharp eyes. The woman in front of him felt creepy because she hissed like a snake that threatened her prey. Very dangerous and deadly.

“E-El..Mun-Maybe El is there Ny-Nyonya..”.

The next thing Linda saw was how an Emily Ellyzzia showed her strength.

The lightning finally stopped after it felt like ten knew had passed.

Ellena raised her head slowly. His wet and dirty face looked at the sky full of dark clouds ready to spew lightning once again.

They seem to be waiting for orders.

But then Ellena caught another sight. Some of the horses died and the rest fled the flames caused by the lightning strike. The fire slowly broke out in the rain. The night grew colder and more horrified as Ellena saw some black objects located.

Ellena held her breath when she realized it was the corpses of the men. They were dead and charred in that terrible lightning bolt earlier. Traces of lightning explosions were seen on the ground that quickly became a waterhole. The freight train overturned and several bodies were scattered again.

Ellena remembered the little boy she had pulled and examined him.

“Hei...are you okay?” asked Ellena trying as gently as possible.

The darkness of the night did not stop Ellena from being able to capture the color of the child's eyes. Greener. Similar seems like though it is not an emerald but more like green young newly grown leaves.

“I—aku scared..” his whisper.

Ellena has absolutely no experience calming a little child—smaller than her. But she remembered when she was still unable to walk, Aunt Em hugged her when she was sick with a high fever (because it was on the snake path) so Ellena hugged the boy.

“EL!”

“WHAT ARE YOU HERE?!”

For gods sake! Ellena recognized the voice even in her sleep.

Therefore Ellena screamed loudly, “AKU HERE! AUNTIE! HERE!”

The footsteps of many people were heard. The forest that had returned dark after the fire had subsided was again brightly exposed to the light of torches and lightstones. Ellena recognized the people who had come with her aunt.

They were adventurers from Guilds.

“What...who has happened here?!”

The people who came suddenly saw the scene in front of them. Messed up. Ellena did not care about the sight of the people as she immediately ran into the arms of her aunt.

“El...who are these people?” Uncle Oka asked. The old man looked very surprised.

If you can Ellena just want to answer tomorrow because all she wants now is to go back to the inn, take a shower and go straight to sleep. But these people won't just let it go.

“They're people from a human trafficking syndicate. I accidentally heard them while sheltering near here.” Obviously Ellena is as fair as possible. There was no way he said that he was reckless to approach the group of criminals alone.

“Then...the bodies of the charred? Why..?” Uncle Tito this time asked.

But Ellena's answer was just a head bobble. About those criminals, Ellena doesn't know. It wasn't him who made them burn, it was the lightning. Ellena hasn't done anything since.

Don't you?

Elkena looked at Emily who was looking around the place that some parts were charred due to the lightning explosion, “Aibi..ayo returned.” pinta Ellena while pulling her clothes.

Auntie Em finally saw her nephew. Her gray eyes looked at Ellena long ago to the point of not understanding but Ellena thought her aunt must be worried about her condition.

“I'm fine. Just dirty.” Ellena's grin with a wet and dirty face. The boy tried to appear as innocent as possible so that the aunt could not bear to punish him.

Sighing, “Iya. Come back and clean yourself up..Ellena.” There was no concern anyone heard Aunt Em calling out bga's real name because everyone was busy saving the victims of the syndicate.

Does this mean I won't sleep in the stables? thought Ellena
