The Rise Of Legend [LIGHTNING]

The Rise Of Legend [LIGHTNING]
Chapter 2 Taking Missions in Lily Village

Three days later, they arrived in front of the entrance of Lily Village.

Lily Village is a small village where all the citizens live a simple but happy life. The entrance of the village was guarded only by a friendly middle-aged man who was only two silver coins as the entrance fee of the village. One silver coin is equal to one hundred bronze coins, therefore with this fee also Ellena and Bibi Em are allowed to make buying and selling transactions and stay free for one day at one-on-one lodging there.

Ellena already knew that they would not stay long in the small village because there was no one suitable to be a buyer of the statue of aunt Em. But there's nothing wrong if she and Aunt Em go to the inn for a moment to take a shower and eat a warm meal. Three days on the train, Em's aunt only gave him butter bread and honey water from the mansion because she didn't want to waste time in the woods just to make a warm meal.

And even though Ellena looks like a man, she is taught to keep herself clean and not smelly even though in fact Ellena does not like water. On the contrary, her aunt would not be uncomfortable not showering for a full week. Amazingly there will be no trace of dirt or foul smell from him.

“Auntie, let's take a break. My body scent is already very smelly and I believe aunt also does not like to smell it.” Ellena said to Emily who was looking at her with a frown but then sighed.

“I know you're just tired of eating bread and honey, El.” Ellena grinned inwardly, “There may I be bored auntie. Our bread and honey water must be saved because we still have another day trip to the city.” Obviously Ellena with a smile that for the aunt sucks.

Sometimes she likes to be upset by Ellena's one nature, likes to play with other people's words and emotions, although of course, Emily does not hate her.

While her aunt came in to take care of the payment, Ellena took care of the horse carriage to leave to the innkeeper and requested that the horse be fed and cleaned after giving some 2 bronze coins.

“The room number two on the left is ours. Go up first and take a shower. Get off soon for lunch.” Emily says she gave Ellena the key.

“Good, auntie!I'll be right back.”

Ellena wasted no time. Lily's inn is not a big place. The room contents are very simple. Just one hardwood bed and an old chair table. Luckily, the room her aunt ordered had her own bathroom.

As Ellena was descending, her aunt had been waiting with a table full of warm and delicious food. While sipping tea like the way the nobles drink, Emily smiled faintly at the expression of her protege who she thought was very comforting.

“Spend El. Don't waste my money.” Eat a lot, and grow strong and healthy. Ellena always knew her aunt was not the kind of person to honestly say her point so Ellena immediately filled her plate and ate voraciously.

“Sure aunt. My stomach is loose after three days of eating only bread.” Said cheerfully.

Emily raised her eyebrows, “So you really mind—“

“HUWAA—Enak once! Aunty let's try this.” Ellena purposely said to herself with a contrived expression then thrust a piece of grilled chicken thigh on Emily.

“Hmp.” Emliy snorted but still accepted Ellena's bribe.

He's not offended. Actually Emily is just teasing because seeing her students panic not fed according to her funny. Ellena likes all kinds of food as long as it's not bitter. Luckily Ellena had no allergies and was very rarely ill.

Ellena quietly sighed in relief. Her fun teasing her aunt doesn't mean she's hungry all day. No, the younger generation seems to need a lot of food to grow.

“Hey, did you hear about the robbery?”

It is lunch time, therefore the tables in the inn restaurant are rather crowded by visitors or residents who rest. A group of men whom Ellena believes to be hunters and a small merchant chatted at two tables from her desk.

“You mean about a little noble relative who was robbed and killed while on his way to town?” said the first man.

The second man said, “Poor family, which I heard this family has a daughter but no body was found.”

“What does the officer do?” call the third person.

The last man, the only merchant clucked while drinking wine, “Do not expect much to the city officials, they are nothing more than people eating blind salaries. Their work is just so useless dogs with blunt swords as displays.”

Ellena glanced at her aunt and saw that the aunt was very calm with her eyebrows raised.

“So those useless people again can't do anything?” the first man asked annoyed.

“I'm no wonder. Little people like us are just considered mere ants. In the end we who will intervene ourselves try to get rid of the bandits.” It was seen that the group of men again cursed and complained about how unfair the rich and so on.

One of the best places to gather information is a restaurant or inn. With this Ellena knew there were obstacles on their way to the city.

“Aibi..how?” ask Ellena to the Aunt. Because the decision was entirely with her aunt.

Emily snorted in return. His face looks bored as if the news of bandits rampant robbing people is just a joke of children, “Nothing to worry about. We continue the journey tomorrow morning.”

Ellena just nodded. He would follow his aunt without refuting. His aunt was the loudest and most determined person he had ever known. Auntie Em does not hesitate to actually throw her into the forest and let her survive the night in the wild as punishment if Ellena committed an offense.

Although Ellena was said to be more mature than a boy her age, she still had a childish side. Ellena can be very stubborn and courageous. Emily is now still able to handle Ellena well, but not in the future.

“Auntie, I'm going to Guild.” Emily allows. Know that the child and his students were going to sell animal and plant game that he collected from the forest. “Back before sunset.”

Ellena immediately ran towards the largest and most crowded building. The building is not magnificent but sturdy because the wood is always changed periodically. When entering Ellena saw that most people in it were men of large stature and fierce face. Of the young, adults there were even some who were already middle-aged. They all carry at least one gun—sword, spear, bow and mace. There are some women but they look just as fierce as the men.

Although the place at first glance looked like a nest of bandits, Ellena did not feel afraid. He calmly stepped towards the Admin table while greeting the friendly few people he knew.

“Little Boy El, you came again!” a man with a big axe greeted.

“Si Small El. You're alive and you're still short.” It was a short old man with a mere beard of feet who greeted.

“El, say hello to your sexy aunt!” this one is a big, long-haired man drinking. She is one of her aunt's fans.

Ellena smiled at their greeting, “Hai uncle Oka, uncle Hogi, uncle Tito. You also turned out to be healthy and more ugly. And sorry Uncle Tito, my aunt doesn't like unemployed widows.” Ellena giggles when highlighted ‘bokah brash’ by the men.

When he reached the Admin table, a young woman in uniform greeted Ellena kindly, “Welcome El. What do you want to sell today?” tanyakanya.

This woman is named Linda. Already worked in the Guild of Lily village ten years. He was a lucky native of Lily village who could become a permanent worker in the Guild.

“Yes sister Linda.” Ellena then took out various plants from her small backpack.

“Wow El, you found a star flower! Medium star flower demand is high.” Linda was then busy picking up the paper and the stamp. The woman's hand moved deftly noting the type and weight of plants Ellena carried and then counted all the money made. Lucky on the third day of the trip to Lily Village, Ellena was able to find the Star Flower that thrives and can sell it.

“3 gold coins, 20 silver and 200 bronze. If only you brought more star flowers and itchi plants, I could give you 5 gold coins.” Linda handed the money to Ellena who kept it.

Hearing Linda's words, Ellena chuckled, “I'll take another 3 gold coins from you Linda.” The Admin woman raised her eyebrows looking at Ellna. But then she chuckled as Ellena took out the body of an adult black wolf from inside her small backpack.

“I've always envied you having that bag El. I hope I have it too.” Linda calls her male colleagues to take Ellena's prey to bring to the animal butcher behind the Guild.

“Price of one adult black fur wolf with such good condition 5 gold coins, anyone want?” Ellena nodded, “I want her skin to make a coat.”

“Oh? For someone?” Ellena nodded.

“Your boyfriend?” this time his short-spirited head shook in panic.

Linda even laughed at Ellena's expression that she thought was cute and adorable, “Haha. I know how scary Madame Emily is. He must have banned you from having a girlfriend.”

Ellena just grinned. I told you her aunt was famous. Because of its closed nature, people so judge aunt Em is a fierce and sadistic person. Yahh.it is true but not as scary as people's shadow.

After receiving money from Linda, Ellena again asked the question “Linda, is there an interesting mission?” Linda thought for a moment. The adult woman opened the ledger on her desk and flipped through it muttering.

“The only mission Rank C can do is catch the eel.” Ellena was heartbroken to hear that, “Serious Linda? Catching eel?”

Ellena was offended. Thinking Linda gave him a mission nuts because Ellena was still Rank C after three years not trying to climb to a higher rank.

In this country there is an Adventure Guild. A kind of community for adventurers. In this place the adventurers could sell their quarry. Not only animals but medicinal plants collected by Ellena can also be sold in this place. Originally Adventure Guilds were only small-scale, but with time those Guilds grew larger until they had spread across the country. Not only did it buy game animals and plants, Guilds also received requests for services. People could give requests then Guilds would analyze the type of requests and announce missions and the amount of pay on the large boards of MISSION.

Missions should only be carried out by Guild members only and must follow Rank member standards. Suppose the mission is a rank A mission then people who are still under B should not take it. On the other hand, E rank missions should not be taken by rank C people upwards. Rank itself there are six levels; Rank E, D, C, B, A and S. Only a few people ranked S. These people are usually very strong and influential people. His example was the Adventurers Guild Leader.

Back more. Ellena showed a sour face— felt offended was considered so weak by Linda. But Linda who realized it hurriedly interjected, “Wait-wait. Don't be so upset El. Listen to my explanation. It's not just an eel.”

Linda then explained that a resident found that in a river commonly used as a spring and caught fish, there was a large eel that emitted electricity until the fish died. This is not too disruptive to the activities of the residents because it can take the water a bit away from the place of the eel but still some residents are worried that the eel will move places and troublesome in the future.

“The payment is 20 gold coins. Already many tried but failed and it has been two weeks no one wants to take it.” Linda said initially the mission fee was only 5 gold coins but because many failed to make the payment increase even though it was still Rank C.

Ellena thought for a long time. Catching eels was not Ellena's specialty but it didn't mean that she wasn't tempted by this mission, let alone paying her enough to buy things and eat good in the city later. Ellena also doesn't like large volumes of water…

“Good. I took this mission. I'll be back before Linda's evening and take my skin order.” Ellena turned towards the door after saying goodbye. Not to forget he returned greetings and silly jokes old men who like to tease a beautiful boy like himself.

“Do not get hurt El. I don't want to make Miss Emily angry!” The black-haired and emerald-eyed boy was already invisible. Linda hopes Ellena returns without being scuffed even if her mission fails. The last thing Linda expected was Emily going berserk and ravaging Lily's village adventure Guild.
