The Secret Bride's

The Secret Bride's
Episode 138: Darren ver.

"I'm right here." Said the woman.

Darren turned to look at his wife. Smiling her lips. "What are you doing here?" Ask the woman. In a tight grip of his arm, Darren looked at the place where the little boy and the grown man had been.

"I don't know, what are you doing here?" Darren. He doesn't know what this place is, it's all dark. A place that can see its past. Where he met his wife. Is this real or is he in a dream?

He shook his head, if this was real he should not be able to see his past directly with an adult body. But what is this? In his heart he said.

Valerie looks beautiful with her favorite dress in sky blue with a small pearl decoration on the bottom of the shoulder that reflects light from the street lamp towards Darren's eyes. The husband, touching the pearls and down one by one to the end.

Valerie looked at what the man was doing, pulling the corner of her lips upwards. "I? I'm looking at you." Shy as Valerie held both of her cheeks. Darren saw a pink tinge there.

Both of Darren's hands were free after playing with the pearl was brought to Valerie's face. As the big hand touched his skin, there were shocking electric sparks. A strange sigh struck his body.

Gently stroked her temples, then down to her cheeks - then her thumb stopped over the tiny lips of the woman. He silently looked into the wife's eyes. When the woman closed her eyes, Darren chuckled. It made Valerie embarrassed to hit her husband's chest.

Darren's hand stopped his wife's action, and he released his chest from the death blow. Holding Valerie's hand on her waist. His mouth will open.

"The place where I can see you freely and where we can always be together. I want to be there."

Valerie fell silent then a second later she nodded her enthusiastic head. "Where?"

"Where are you, there I am."

His wife looked down, right at his stomach. "Why don't you ask?"

"What's that?"

"His condition." Valerie's eyes were still in her stomach. Darren saw him, then he lifted his wife's chin. "Because he's with you. If you're okay then he'll be fine."

"You love her?" Ask Valerie.

"I love you!" Answer Darren.

"You love her?" Ask Valerie again. Until the third question Darren answers remain the same.

Then. "Because you exist until he exists." The word that made the woman's tears seep out.

Darren took his wife into his arms, a hug that swept away his soul. The tighter the embrace, the more broken his will.

"Close your eyes!" Valerie. Darren followed the instructions without refuting. Then, the figure he was hugging disappeared into smoke as the flying smoke fused together with the air.

Wife's missing. Darren screams for the wife's name but the call is fruitless, instead he is drawn away into a dark alley with a bright light at the highest end.

.

When he regained consciousness, he was in front of a white sand beach. He sat down and looked around. Lonely, there were no human finds, not one. The man tried to stand up, holding the depleted sand in his hand falling back into the arms of comrades. Darren staggered away from the beach but he found no way out.

From where he stood he could not see the end of the beach. Everything is full of bright light. Dazzling his eyes, arriving at one of the large colorful beach umbrellas became his goal. Something interesting about that place. There are many places around the beach.

He continued to step up and discovered that there was someone other than himself who was there. Darren held his head that had been throbbing fast, he held the back of the chair as it nearly fell. At that moment, he saw a book and pen on the table with a bag hanging comfortably on the back of a wooden chair.

Just a matter of seconds, from the east came a strong wind sweeping the sand from the side. He closed his eyes waiting for it to go away. When he opened his eyes someone was sitting on a wooden bench where bags were hanging. Darren was surprised to be happy too.

The call made no response. Darren raised his hand touching the arm of the wife who was busy writing in the book. However, his arm pierced through the wife's arm.

He sees himself becoming transparent. When she wanted to call again Valerie's name, the woman was already standing carrying the items that had been lying carelessly on the table.

Valerie ran, she followed him. Valerie moved away from the beach side and sat on a park bench. The woman opened the writing in the book again. "Thank you for being with me all this time,"

Valerie spoke again. Then he went somewhere. At that time Darren who became transparent to know where the place is now. This beach is where she first found a woman named Valerie.

The man behind the wooden bench picked up a piece of paper, after he read it he became very interested. He collected the sheets of paper and put them in his coat. He came home and Darren followed him.

Darren knew following her would lead him to see Valerie again. It's soon raining said Darren who has become transparent. Really rain. The man who was carrying the sheet of paper had run small towards the parking lot.

Just then he saw a woman wearing an umbrella coming from inside towards him. The guy saw it and Darren did. Valerie passed by them just like that after revealing her face while raising a little umbrella.

Not long after, the man also left. Stay Darren under the rain that does not hit him.

.

He closed his eyes again and as he reopened his eyes. She was under a floodlight in the middle of the street with Valerie in front of her. Valerie was still speechless and looked fixedly at the black beads.

"If that time, I greet you. Then our time will not be wasted." Darren.

"And by then you and I will be different." Valerie.

"Valerie, are we gonna be together forever?" Ask the husband.

The woman called the wife smiled sweetly.

Trying to reach Darren's cheek, Valerie stood up with the tip of her toe. "Then the place is not here. Wake up! I'll be by your side!"

Tutttt.

...🖤...

The monitor beside Darren no longer showed any up and down graphics, he stopped as well as Hyuk who was beside him. The doctor and nurse arrived. Hyuk at was speechless at the back giving room for them to be able to handle Darren quickly.

The machines that shook Darren's body were put in place. He saw how his friend struggled to live. Struggling? Did Darren would do the same when he heard Valerie leave.

Hyuk shook his head, the ugliness of what he was imagining. One of the doctors performed CPR when the device was no longer in use. They try to restore the patient's heartbeat. Alternately until one of them stops.

They were silent still with the sound of the monitor sounding with a single tone. Deora and Lee Jong Seok enter with a limp fall beside Hyuk.

"My son!" Shouted Deora.
