The Slayers

The Slayers
Chapter 102 (Season 3)

Back to the day that Johan went to a world filled with various fantasy races except humans.

Plus, he accidentally entered into a city that was in bad condition and this region under the leadership of a noble brengs*k.

And now...

"I'm the creator of the Gram sword."

With her high LUCK status, she managed to find the original maker.

"You're the creator of the Gram sword!? Then you know where Gram's sword is?"

Volund shook his head, "The sword Gram has been destroyed a long time young man. Don't look for that sword." His word.

"But, I can still feel the Gram sword fragments from you. There should still be, right?"

"No. The sword does not exist..."

Although Volund said that the Gram sword does not exist, Johan thinks otherwise and still thinks that the Gram sword still exists. The first sword aura Gram was on Volund, the second was still vague, but Seraphim himself sensed another Aura that was uncertain of where it was located.

"I'm sure the sword is still there, Mr. Volund. I'm looking for that sword for a mission involving the future of many worlds."

Volund fell silent, he could not trust Johan.

"Are you trustworthy? Are you the same as the spoiled and timid nobles?"

"Don't equate me with them! People like them don't deserve to live at all!" Johan said in earnest. Volund can feel the honesty in Johan, therefore, he intends to open his mouth. But...

The sound of metal clashing with the ground was heard. Johan turned his head towards it and saw that Grid was coming down.

"So you're here? How did you find the old man, huh!?" Grid was now very angry. He pulled out a sword from his scabbard.

Johan who saw that whispered 2 words. Then miraculously a coin appeared in his hand. The coin has a picture of a head and a sword.

"First pitch to the past." He throws a coin and then falls in his hand. The sword mark is above.

"Second throw for the present." He threw another coin. The sword mark is above.

While tossing the coin, he also slowly walked closer to Grid.

"Last pitch to the future." He threw another coin and again the sword mark was on top.

"What are you doing!? Are you kidding me!?" Grid somehow felt very threatened. He immediately attacked Johan.

But, Johan had already finished tossing the coin. He directly pulled out the sword from its scabbard and decapitated Grid.

The movement was so fast that it could not be seen by anyone. Three seconds later, Grid's head separated from his body and fell to the ground. Johan drew his sword back.

Johan slowly exhaled and saw Grid's head on the ground with a condescending look.

"Your sword technique is great, young man."

Volund walked up to Johan and saw Grid's corpse. "Thank you."

Johan tilted his head and asked "For what?"

"Because of killing this man. He's very rude and arrogant. He kept me locked up and tortured me, forcing me to tell me where the Gram sword was."

"Eh, they're looking for Gram's sword too?"

Volund nodded, he paused for a while and said again "They are also like you, believing that the Gram sword is still there. Also, they continued to search for the sword."

"Luckily, they never found it."

"So, does the sword still exist?" Ask Johan curiously. Volund responded by nodding.

Johan's expression instantly turned bright.

"But the sword is broken."

Johan's expression instantly changed back, becoming shocked.

"Break!?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Don't be discouraged, I can make it back."

"Yes, but..."

"But?"

"...it's okay."

"...The Gram sword fragment was on me and another one was guarded by the dragons. For that, you have to go to the dragon lighthouse and break into the dragon temple to retrieve the Gram sword."

"Dragon?"

"Yes, dragon."

Johan thought about his fate as he fought the dragon, he might not stand a chance. Dragons in games or fantasy stories are usually depicted as the pinnacle of the food chain. Legendary, domineering, and the appearance of a dragon at a glance could make the entire race in the world ketar-ketir.

And now, in order to retrieve a sword fragment, he had to pick it up in the dragon nest itself. He's not sure he survived.

"First, you're gonna have to take me to my workshop."

"Ah, fine."

Johan held Volund on his shoulder and flew as fast as he could. Within a minute, he got out of jail and saw the city's slightly chaotic conditions because he was the one who freed the prisoners.

He can't stop the riot. After all, his goal in this world was to search for the Gram sword.

He then flew with orders from Volund. He made it 30 minutes to Volund's hidden workshop.

"This is my workshop."

His workshop was a cave protected by a gigantic golden-colored gate that was extremely luxurious.

"Wait a minute."

Volund entered his workshop and heard the sound of clanking and falling objects. Then he came out with a belt with a dagger hanging.

"This is for you, this dagger is useful against Dragons. Use it if you don't have any trouble, and you don't have to bother using it against Dragonborn, do you?"

"Ah, I'll use it well."

"Good, now let's go dragon-breathing."

Johan held Volund on his back and flew away to the dragon nest, of course Volund directed Johan.

After a few minutes, the dragons began to be seen flying in the sky. This indicates that they are close to the lair of the dragons.

Johan who saw it instantly flew lower.

In the end, they decided to walk away so as not to be flashy. The dragons themselves have a sharp vision.

They walk between trees and bushes. Every now and then, they saw a group of Dragonborn who were on patrol or hunting.

"What kind of creature is Dragonborn?"

"Dragonborn is a kind of dragon with a more human body. It used to be because of the marriage of dragons to humans. But humans themselves are extinct now. So elves are being targeted a lot."

"...human extinct?"

"Yes, humans went extinct hundreds of years ago. They are the bravest and most opposed to dragon domination. Because Sigurd killed Fafnir, the dragons hated the human presence and would kill any visible humans."

Hearing the fact that humans are extinct makes the feathers stand up. Will the fate of humans on Earth be the same?

"Almost there."

Volund roused Johan out of his mind. From far away, there was a door, .

The door was gigantic in size and behind was just an empty stretch of grass. So it's the door.

The door was guarded by two fully equipped Dragonborns. Volund held onto his chest, the Gram flakes in his body reacted.

"That's it, Gram's sword is in there!"

'...in the end?' Johan did not understand, it was just an ordinary giant door made of stone and full of carvings. Behind the door was only a large field.

So, "Inside? Where?'" Johan asked innocently.
