Chapter 169 (Season 4)
"We've been surrounded..."
Johan wanted to wipe his face all out. Because the situation seemed so dire, he abandoned his wishes. Eve kills are everywhere. The others were still unaware of the existence of the killing air. At least that's what Johan thought.
Alex, Norga and Cindy, who were playing in the middle of the park, suddenly ran towards Alan. Every face of them radiated worry, fear, and panic. Despite having such a face, they tried to remain calm.
Norga who arrived first in front of Alan called out to Alan in a trembling voice, "Sister..."
Alan nodded slowly with a smile. He got out of his chair and stretched his muscles. Alan then gave a signal to leave.
"You better get going, Johan. You don't want to be targeted by unknown people, do you?"
Johan suddenly got up from the park chair and called out to Grace and Risse.
"What's up, brother?"
"It's dangerous, we need to get out of here!"
Grace became dazed, while Risse kept quiet, indicating that she agreed.
Johan immediately held the two. Borrowing wings from the Seraphim, Johan flapped his wings firmly.
The wings were flapped with all their might. The flutter produces air waves that are able to propel around it. However, Johan did not fly at all.
"What!?"
The embodiment of the Seraphim wings suddenly disappeared from Johan's back. Turns into grains of light that disappear in the air.
"What's going on?"
Johan was so confused that he could not speak. Seraphim's voice suddenly appeared in his head, "[Johan, it's too late to leave here. Your skill has been disabled due to the influence of the terrain here.]"
"[This time, the threat is no joke!]"
Johan looked around and saw everyone who seemed to have started to feel the strangeness that was happening. It happened because their phones were suddenly not working.
Among all that, there is also Alan who is still standing near Johan. Alex, Norga and Cindy stand behind him holding onto Alan's shoulder. Their faces looked unkind, as did Alan whose face became serious.
Alan was experiencing the same thing as Johan. [Spirit Walker] hers is dysfunctional, like it's being blocked by something. Alan looked at the sky with suspicion.

For a moment, Alan was experiencing a feeling of distress. Alan tried to fight back, but the pressure exerted was very strong. Simultaneously, Alan felt the ground suddenly tremble.
The sky was suddenly shrouded by black fog. Not only that, his vision also became dark even though he did not close his eyes. Faintly, he also heard the sound of panicked cries calling his name.
Fortunately, [Eyes of Sage] could see clearly even though it was dark. The person who shouted was immediately clearly visible.
"Don't yell at Norga, Alex. I'm here," call Alan.
"Aahh?"
Norga, Alex, and Cindy who hold Alex's hand immediately follow Alan's voice.
They managed to get together. They held onto Alan's part of the shirt in fear. Alan looked around, it was not just them. A mother with her son, office worker, student, unemployed, and some Slayer were also around, but they were in a daze.
Such people feel a variety of emotions; gliding, angry, afraid, anxious, depressed, and more. Suddenly, a speck of light appeared in the sky that exploded into a bright light. People's eyes were temporarily blinded. The origin of the light comes from Johan, who uses the light element.
With the lighting, they can see around. Sturdy, dusty stone walls, uneven roads full of rocks and sand, and a circle with a strange symbol that became their foothold now.
People get scared after seeing what happens, especially after knowing that they are currently in a place that becomes a nightmare for people.
They did not see wrong, their current place was the labyrinth.
