Chapter 173 (Season 4)
"Can you repeat? I don't get it."
"Seriously?"
"Yes, I'm serious."
"This is the third time!"
After gathering with a large group, Alan inevitably had to explain their condition beforehand. Unfortunately, Johan was too confused by Alan's explanation.
"Huff," Alan was tired of explaining the situation. However, he still kept repeating his explanation back, at least, for the last time.
"So, this labyrinth's mechanism is very complicated. Certain parts have dead ends and can be opened by draining Mana on certain walls. That way, the structure of the labyrinth will change randomly. Opens another path, but simultaneously closes several roads until it becomes a dead end."
"You know that too, right?"
Johan responded with a plain nod.
"Well, being like that, parting was a bad decision, so we decided to join you, by teleportation."
"Teleportation?" Johan's eyes immediately sparkled.
"Yes, why is your reaction like that?"
"Is there any part of the labyrinth that has a teleportation effect?"
"No."
Johan was immediately disappointed to hear that.
"Then what are you teleporting with?"
"Secret."
Johan once again felt a heavy sense of disappointment. Johan also thinks it's free, because what he asks is a very secretive and mysterious Alan. But, Johan thought, maybe Alan will be more open because the current situation is dire. However, it turns out Alan is still the same, closed and does not want to open his mouth.
"Hey, what are you talking about?"
Derus suddenly appears in the middle of Alan and Johan. Quickly, embrace the two and whisper, "follow the dong, don't mess with the secrets."
"Hey, brother, your friend, why? What a joke," Derus whispered to Johan. Johan could only laugh softly.
Alan was a reclusive person, but, at the same time, he could have been friends with people due to his friendly outer appearance, with a cheerful and strange smile. However, as Derus approached him, the smile disappeared. His face was flat and blatantly showed his dislike for Derus.
Johan somewhat understood Alan's reaction, as he felt something was not good. However, Derus has not taken any suspicious action.
"By the way, did you guys find a clue?" ask Alan.
"Not at all, how are you?" Johan asked back. Alan shook his head, leaving Johan disappointed.
Both did not get satisfactory results. The two of them started to think of a way out.
On the other hand, there are parties who begin to fear, surrender, and think to die alone.
"Hey, when are we going out?"
"Are we really getting out!?"
"Do something, brengs*k!"
People began to show their anger over the Slayer's incompetence. However, it was only because they were stressed.
"Oh, start acting absurd." Said Alan in a tired tone.
Johan tries to calm the people along with the other Slayer, however, his name is also community. When we are together, what can we do?
Alan could only pat his forehead and sigh. Looking up in annoyance. Along with that, he realized something.
Secretly, Alan quickly retrieves the gun from the Inventory and shoots the ceiling.
The crowd was shocked by the sound of the gunfire and fell silent for a moment.
Johan was confused by Alan's sudden actions. However, suddenly, there was a spill of colored liquid coming from above. The spill hit Alan's face resulting in his entire face being covered by a red liquid.
But, Alan was neither disgusted nor showed any reaction other than smiling.
