Chapter 163 (Season 4)
Next lesson, lesson on portals. Nothing interesting from here. Because the things that are taught are the basic things. All the kids know that already. Even so, I didn't yawn like the other kids.
Fortunately, the teacher was still good and did not scold.
"Well, kids, it looks like you're tired of the material being constantly repeated, huh?" Ms. Nara, the teacher who teaches maple portal.
The disciples certainly nodded, not least of all me. Ms. Nara then looked at us with a very wide smile.
I was curious and read his thoughts, instantly, that smile rubbed off on me as well.

I looked around and the disciples smiled as well; the one who wanted to sleep was sitting straight; the one who was gloomy was full of smiles; and the one who was just plain old, was smiling brightly.
'They already know...'
From their reaction, it seemed like this was not the first time. The other students already knew the meaning behind the smile, except for Norga, Alex, and Cindy. They're new. But I just read his mind.
"This time will be special for children! Because there will only be one team!"
The other students were shocked in disbelief. Is there only one team? What the hell's going on?
Ms. Nara then took out a large white box. When I saw it with [Eyes of Sage], the contents were papers folded up to small, which meant it was a lottery.
"Good kids, please go forward one by one to pick up the lottery paper. If you have it, do not open it first! Starting from the left-most front bench!"
Following the direction of Bu Nara, the students took the lottery one by one. I won't peek at anyone else's, because it won't be exciting.
"Next!"
Finally my turn came. Leisurely, I walked to the classroom stage and put my hand in the box while peeking with [Eyes of Sage] to find out which paper was the jackpot. I then saw two papers whose writing was different from the others. I picked one up and returned to my seat.
"Easy." I muttered while smiling with satisfaction.
Now, just wait for the team's surprise.
After all the papers were taken, Ms. Nara told us to open the paper. A disappointed voice filled the class. There are also happy faces. It is likely they who got the jackpot. I already knew the contents of my paper, so I didn't show any reaction.
"Alright kids, who get 'gifts' go straight ahead, yeah!"
Me and the kids who got the prize went straight ahead. While walking towards the classroom stage, I was surprised at one thing, which was Zoel who also got the prize. Not only did Zoel surprise me, but Via also got the reward. Good, at least if Alex, Norga, and Cindy don't get the prize, there's a good Via for me.
There were six students including me in front. There are Via, Zoel, El, Danu, and Niji. Via for defense as well as attackers. Zoel is undoubtedly the attacker and buff giver. For El, I don't know what the role is, even the job isn't clear. Then Danu, from what I saw, was a Forest Ranger, skilled at tracking and very superior in the forest area. Lastly, Niji, a Thief and his level was the lowest in this class.
'Should have been, this combination was pretty good.'
"Good children, congratulations to the chosen ones! The unelected, don't be disappointed!"
"For those of you selected, next month there will be an inter-class match, and this group will represent this class to compete!"
'Next month? It's still a long time!'
"All right, now today's lesson is over!"
Ms. Nara immediately left this class and left the six of us in front of the class. We looked at each other awkwardly. Except for Zoel who was looking at me with a very sharp and hateful eyes.
'...this won't be easy.'
