The Smell of Love Imriyah

The Smell of Love Imriyah
Initial Step

After dawn, Amra prepared all her needs. Gratitude he had said many times since yesterday. How not, the thing he really wanted for now had succeeded in getting. Especially if it's not a job? There was nothing he wanted more right now than a job. At least, next month he can send his mother money although not much. Moreover, what can make him this happy, in addition to the dream to make the mother feel helped even a little.

From the first day of work, Amra always prepared everything after dawn. Although his work hours are not too early, he does not want to be late for a minute. He will do everything well.

Before he was busy in the kitchen, Amra went to Yumni's room, as usual he would wake the girl, the dawn had passed fifteen minutes ago. If he can't wait to wake up his best friend, he'll have bad luck

"Yum... Fajr yum...." Yumni squirms, but both eyes are still closed

"Yum... It's 15 minutes late..."

"Five more minutes Ra. ..." Yumni muttered lazily

"ee.... Have you been given 15 minutes still mintakkan five minutes? Come on, don't you want the devil to fight...." Amra smiled after saying that, she felt like she was trying to wake her son up

"Yes, I've cooked, I've woken up you know, it means my duty has fallen..."

Amra moved out, and just then, Yumni opened her eyes. Look at Amra who is moving out

"What a sin I've been through all this time, could it be that you're the one who's gonna change my life?" Yumni grabbed her phone and dialed someone's number

"Yes" there was a lazy voice across there

"It's time for dawn prayers!"

"Huh? Since when are you...." The man across there sounded very surprised because not as usual, his lover is reminded of prayer, especially dawn. Yumni broke off the connection and got out of her bed.

Meeting with Amra again makes Yumni happy while feeling restless. Yes really restless! It was not Amra's presence that made him fret. But it's nothing he's been working on lately that fosters this kind of feeling.

When his best friend changed so well in the span of seven years, it was the opposite. Even he forgot when the last time his skin was touched by ablution water until finally Amra came and reminded him of it.

Fretting that he felt unworthy to be Amra's best friend for now, he was nothing compared to Amra. He has become a misguided and misguided loser. Sometimes this is what can make the tears flow rapidly without cause. Quietly when he was alone, he cried so loudly, as if the cry was unstoppable.

After completing his duty, Yumni approached the friend who was busy in the kitchen as mbak Ina, Amra greeted him with a smile

"Mbak Ina's... I brought Amra first yeah..." Said Yumni with a flat face, of course it makes Amra astonished. Ma'am Ina just nodded

"Amras... I want to talk to you"

"What's Yum? Seriously so?" Yumni gave no answer, but he went to his room. In surprise, Amra followed him. Various questions arise in his brain, has he offended Yumni, until the girl looks angry? Did it disappoint Yumni with her pretentious attitude these past few weeks? Does Yumni feel uncomfortable with him who always bave telling him to pray? Or is this a more serious issue?

Amra arrived at Yumni's room. He saw his friend sitting on his bed, his back to the door. There was no sound from her mouth until Amra closed the door and moved closer

"I have to do with Ra....." Her cry broke while hugging the still confused Amra

Amra's forehead was still wrinkled, but her hands gently stroked Yumni's back to calm down. Seeing that Yumni seemed heavy to talk, Amra chose to be quiet, not wanting to burden Yumni more with questions. 15 minutes passed, Yumni had already let go of her embrace, she said, but there were still remnants of crying coming out of his mouth

"You know everything, Ra..." Yumni said on the sidelines of her crying

"Sorry, know what Yum is about?"

"My mom...." Slowly Yumni while holding back her cries, Amra choked and lowered her head while exhaling softly. Yumni has never done anything immoral in the eyes of man, only he seems far from religion. Could it be that Yumni was offended by her now? Because Amra reminds me of that often?

"I'm sorry.... I really didn't mean to offend you with my attitude, Yum...." Yumni turned to her and looked at her best friend with both eyes

"Why do you still want to hang out with people like me, Ra?" The question really struck Amra's heart, is Yumni currently asking her to leave?

"Yumni.... Sorry again...."

"No Ra! That's not what I mean" interrupted Yumni as if he realized that his best friend had misunderstood

"I just want to know why you're not ashamed to be friends with me like this..." Amra looked at him gently for quite a while before replying

"Because I believe your heart is soft Yum, you are a good person, better than me..... You just went the wrong way, and I want to take you back to the way you should. Yumni, all humans have made mistakes, me too, but not all humans can admit their mistakes. You do that Yum, will you change from now on, Yum?" Yumni's tears trickled back, about her intentions changed, when she herself felt doubtful, Amra actually felt so sure

"I'm not ready, Ra.... Give me some time..." Amra smiled

"May you open that door soon, I will always pray for you. It's okay, just slow down..." With a big heart Amra said that, she did not want to force him to have to make a choice immediately.

********

By seven in the morning, Amra was at work. Prepare yourself and wait for the arrival of the children entrusted there. At 07.00 to 12.00 noon, he will accompany children under three years old. While at 13:00 to 17:00 he will accompany children aged three years to six years.

Amra knows this job is not easy, she has to bear a great responsibility for this job. But he doesn't mind, being with the kids makes him happy. A 12-month-old baby came with her mother, Amra welcomed her arrival with a smile

"Assalamualaikum House...." I don't know that simple greeting makes the baby called Rais laugh

"Good morning mother... I was in a hurry so I handed Rais over here huh bun.." said the mother as she handed Rais in her carriage in a hurry. Amra smiled as a sign of her friendliness and let the baby's mother pass by

"The way someone thinks is different... Someone's life is different, Rais... Mama must love you" Amra smiled at the baby before bringing him in and asking him to play.

Working like this keeps his mind open. That not everything that happened was in accordance with his thinking. And they learn to respond to what happened. At first, he feels a little upset when he learns of Rais' age and how his mother is always in a hurry to leave him. The bad side is prejudiced, how can there be a mother who is so willing to leave her child for a job. But one fact that can break that prejudice. Rais was born an orphan, his father died when his mother gave birth to him. He lives alone to support Rais. He felt guilty for prejudging Rais' mother. And maybe all the mothers who leave their children in this place do not have a choice. What a great step he has taken right now, he is so grateful to be a part of this daycare, he can learn more about living there.
