The Smell of Love Imriyah

The Smell of Love Imriyah
The Secret of Life (2)

As usual, the next day Amra was back in the bus with her work. So far everything has gone well, although there is one or two things that concern him. She greeted her "children" with a radiant face. Most of them liked Amra. One of them is Shireen. For some reason, the little girl was very clingy with Amra. He was even able to eliminate the habit of drinking milk with a pacifier, simply because Amra advised him. Before that at all Shireen did not want to be separated from the object, although now he was almost five years old.

That afternoon, Shireen's face looked extremely moody. It seemed strange to see the usually very cheerful boy suddenly look cloudy. Amra approached her while revealing her sweetest smile

"Friends are playing." said Amra as she touched Shireen's small back

"Yes..." Shireen answered him listlessly

"Emm?? What happened to the beautiful face of Shireen? Is it cloudy outside?" Slowly Shireen turned her head, looking at Amra with her innocent eyes. Not understanding what Amra was talking about, Amra smiled broadly and hugged her. For some reason, before knowing that Shireen was the daughter of Fatih, he felt an inner bond between them

"Why baby?"

"Mother ever get a needle prick?" Shireen asked innocently, Amra took off her embrace then put on a thoughtful look

"Why did you have to get a needle?" Shireen confirmed his sitting position

"here..! Iyum looked in pain as she was being pricked by a needle" Shireen showed the back of her hand. Now Amra looked at Shireen with a fixed gaze

"Is he sick?" Amra understood that if the iyum Shireen meant was mother, Shireen nodded

"That's what makes Shireen sad?" Again, Shireen nodded. Amra smiled sweetly and hugged Shireen

"Iyum will soon improve, Shireen must pray for iyum to heal quickly" the small nod felt in the embrace made Amra's smile wider.

No one knows about the Shireen family. Same with Amra. She thought Shireen's mother was just plain sick.

...

Fatih's family picnic yesterday had to be canceled because in the middle of Ayu suddenly fainted. It was the first time Shireen had seen her so sick she lost consciousness. The first time Shireen saw her father so panicked.

Until today, Fatih did not go to work to accompany Ayu who was still not awake. His condition suddenly dropped. Both families came to the hospital. Sadness emanated from the faces of those in front of the waiting room of a hospital room. They were not allowed to enter, because only one waiter was allowed to accompany.

This painter has suffered Ayu for many years. This is Ayu's worst condition since she gave birth to Shireen first. Maybe Ayu has given up on her pain, maybe Ayu is no longer strong enough to endure the pain. Both mothers hugged while crying bitterly. While both fathers sat down. They look tougher than both mothers.

While Fatih, she sat by the bed crying silently, maybe she regretted not completely giving up love to Ayu. While Ayu was so sincere in loving her. A long breath he let out while wiping away his tears.

In order for him to regret everything, now he must focus on his duties, taking care of Ayu and comforting Shireen who will surely wonder later.

....

Today, Hafidz received a special guest, after almost three years finally Pak Joko, the father came to visit his home. This time he came with his sister, Syifa. Their arrival this time was completely unexpected by Hafidz, it seemed like they were making a surprise for Hafidz

"Sir why don't you tell me if you want to come here?" Said Hafidz gently while helping bring the goods Joko sir

"Why indeed?"

"Well, if you say, Hafidz can pick you up at the airport.." Hafidz smiled as well as Syifa whose smile this time contained some meaning that Hafidz did not understand

"Mbak Im. please yes." said Hafidz to his home assistant to bring the luggage of Mr. Joko and Syifa to their room. While Im's mother brought their belongings to the room, another house assistant came with a drink and some snacks to the living room.

Syifa immediately grabbed a television remote to watch tv while releasing fatigue. Instead of sitting on a shofa Syifa chose to sit on the carpet and lay down his body after taking a shofa pillow.

"I'll go to the kitchen first..." Said Hafidz while moving, but stopped when Pak Joko held him

"Sit down. samaek father you have eaten earlier.." Syifa glanced at her "mas" while nodding

"Mas Hafidz when will you propose to Amra?" Syifa sat down and asked confidently, Hafidz glared slightly at the startling question

"Your brother really, he said your relationship has begun to improve with Amra..?"

"It is not as the father and deck of Syifa imagined.."

"Then what was it like?" Syifa asked in a defiant tone

"You don't understand.."

"Don't be long ago mas, if mas Hafidz was sure immediately aja. later mbak Amra hunt stabbed people you know mas.." Hafidz laughed at Syifa's serious words. Making Syifa pout

"Oh yes Fidz. actually the father came because he wanted to see Amra.." said Mr. Joko after laughing at Syifa, Hafidz stopped his laughter and looked at Mr. Joko silently

"Why are you sir?" Ask then

"There is a need.. later afternoon anterin father yes..?"

"Syifa's coming..!" Syifa cried with passion. The girl who will soon continue the lecture looks always excited when it comes to Amra.

...

Amra waved off the departure of Shireen who today was on the thumb by her grandmother. Unlike usual, Amra took a deep breath and went in. As if there was envy in his heart, Fatih seemed to love his wife so much. Amra sighs

"Astaghfirullah...." He was not supposed to nurture feelings like this.

Once all the children are picked up by their parents, Amra decides to go home soon. I don't know on the way home he felt his heart was disturbed, suddenly he thought about the fate of Shireen's mother. He became curious, sick like what his mother suffered until the grandmother had to pick him up. And what kind of pain did Shireen's mother have to be hospitalized? A little hesitant, should he visit? Or didn't? But what reason would he visit? Amra sighed, until her anxiety disappeared as her phone rang.

"Asalaminophen..." Said answering the incoming phone after a moment of silence thinking will receive the incoming phone or not

"Goddessalam, Ra!"

"What is Hafidz?"

"How does Hafidz know my contract?"

"Yumni who knew... Are you still at work?"

"Sir, I'm on this road, 10 minutes to go.."

"OK I wait, Assalamualaikum.."

"Goddessalam..." Amra sighed and put her phone back in the bag. What surprise is this? Why did Hafidz go to his house with Joko sir?

Ten minutes later, the bus stopped at a stop. Amra came out with a mind full of question marks. It took about ten more minutes on foot for Amra to arrive at her contract.

After he arrived there, Joko, Hafidz and Syifa were waiting in front of his house. With a sense of surprise he approached immediately

"Assynoltom..."

"Goddessalam..." Answer the three of them simultaneously, Mr. Joko smiled at him

"Sorry, if I had known earlier I would have been able to go home..."

"It's okay" said Mr. Joko calming, immediately Amra opened the door and let them enter and sit in a simple rented that does not even have the chair.

Amra rushed to the kitchen to make a drink, but Syifa immediately held back with her hand. Amra looked astonished

"Don't bother with Amra, we'll just be a minute.."

"But..."

"Mother Amra sat down." interrupted Syifa gently, Amra turned to Hafidz who then nodded. Amra sighed softly and then sat down

"I'm really not good at making Mr. Joko wait..." Said it softly

"It's okay, Amra... Just for a minute, don't bother..!" Seru Pak Joko was accompanied by a crisp laugh

"What do you need? Why bother coming to this simple place?"

"Yes.. You'll be right away, you came to wave son Amra to my son Hafidz..."

The deg! Amra pecked for a moment to hear the statement, immediately her mind was empty and she could only look at Mr. Joko. Not only Amra, Hafidz was surprised by Joko's statement

"Mr?" His whisper was slightly reprimanded, yet Joko sir seemed indifferent

"The father has told your mother many times, but he has no answer. So rather than the father is not tenak, you just talk to your son Amra.." Amra sighed and lowered her head, Hafidz was so, it had gone so smoothly like a stream of water, Hafidz could no longer prevent. He was ashamed of Amra

"Where's nduk?" Amra paused for a moment, not knowing what to say. His mind was clashing, looking for the best answer

"Amras... If you feel heavy, there's no need to answer it now..." Hafidz intervened. Amra sighed and raised her head, but before she answered, Amra's phone rang

"I'm sorry... Can I get a phone call first?"

"Monggo...!" Mr. Joko exclaimed with a smile that still adorned his face, Amra went to the room to receive the call

"Generic, buk..."

"Nature...." There was a sad voice on the other side, but it was not the mother's voice

"Bulhek...? Where's mom?"

"Back home.your mother...." Amra held her breath ready to listen to the continuation of the sentence, it seemed not good news, because the bulhek across there was heard holding back tears

"Have you heard why bulhek?" Amra is still trying to calm down

"Your bus..already..no nduk...."

"Innalillahi wainnaa ilaihii..." Amra was stunned to hear the news, her legs were limp until she had unknowingly fallen on the floor, heard the sound of falling, Hafidz and the others went to Amra's room which was not closed door.

When Amra, who had been crying, fell on the floor, Syifa approached and hugged her

"Why mbak?"

"Hugely..." Pilu

"Your bus why nduk?" Joko also asked

"Busy.busy... There is no more...." Amra's cry broke out in Syifa's arms, Hafidz exhaling deeply in surprise

"Innalillahi wainnaa ilaihi... The strong ones nduk..." Said Mr. Joko

....

A faint cry was also heard in the treatment room of a hospital. Fatih's tears broke as the doctor declared his wife dead. After yesterday Ayu's condition continued to decline, Ayu finally gave up her disease. God has other wills. He held Ayu's hand tightly while crying as he pleased. Ayu's mother cried in her husband's arms, as did Fatih's mother.

"I'm sorry Ayu...."
