Instead of feeling relieved, Amra actually felt uneasy. There was an opportunity, at least as a stepping aid for him, but he could not take that opportunity. Finally he and Yumni returned empty-handed. Yumni deeply regretted Amra's decision, although Amra had told him the reason for not accepting the work that was waiting before her eyes. They even had a chance to do a cok check earlier, but what could Yumni do? Amra's decision was so unanimous, she could only give in and support whatever her best friend's will was. He believes there must be a reason stronger than just what Amra told him.
Along this journey, Amra just silently looked at the vehicle. Something was full of his thoughts, but he did not know whether to convey it or not. Yumni himself was also silent, letting Amra rethink her decision. He was ashamed of Hafidz
"Yum Adzan, pray first..." Amra
"Nanggung Ra's... Benatar again nyampek home..."
"There is a mosque! It's not good to procrastinate..." Amra glanced at him and smiled, Yumni just sighed and turned his car into the courtyard of the mosque
"Aren't you down?" Amra asked as she got out of the car
"At home..." Amra smiled back at her mother
"Son't baby? It's in the mosque!" Yumni sighed again and then got out of the car, Amra smiled wider and took her best friend's hand
"Sholat at home is also still hunted times Ra... Must it be like this?" Amra just nodded steadily
"What's important is that you're still in time?"
"Yes if you're still hunting? If not?"
"Definitely hunted... 100 meters more right we nyampek home, this is also the new Adhan?"
"You sure?" The short question made Yumni have to rack her brain to answer it. And for the first time, there was someone who shook his heart. All this time he always thought there must be time to delay, very different from the way Amra thought as if after this time would stop for him. He understood exactly where Amra's question was headed, meaning death could come at any time......
Yumni slowly took off Amra's arm and walked ahead. Amra just looked at him silently, she did not understand the meaning of that attitude.
Ten minutes later, they finished performing the maghrib prayer. Amra continued to pay attention to Yumni who was in a different shaf with her that, then sighed. He turned his gaze and looked down with a heavy feeling. What had happened earlier had become a burden of new thoughts in his brain. Is he acting right or is he being too rash? Or is he overreacting to something? However he realized, it was difficult to find a job, while he had to get a job immediately. But on the other hand, his heart wouldn't be comfortable? Amra closed her eyes and sighed
"It's not that I'm arrogant, God... I just feel ashamed to accept the kindness of Hafidz after I let him down..."
His sister is worried. But what if he doesn't work right away? Should he be a bitch to Yumni who is so good to him? This was only his first day, but why did he feel so heavy like this?
"Are you not really willing to leave?" Mumbled
Though he thought his first day would go well when he received news if one of Yumni's friends was willing to open a job for him. But where does he think he is Hafidz?
"Ra?" Amra turned her head in surprise, Yumni was already beside her
"Udah finished?" Asked, Yumni nodded
"Yes is yuk...! I'm masakin' tonight?"
"No, we eat out..."
Not a fancy restaurant or any other expensive place, a five-foot fried rice shop was their choice. By passing the vehicle as a musical accompaniment and the glitter of street lights that become a treat for the scenery. Not because Yumni is stingy or anything like that, this is Amra's choice, it seems like he is not used to eating in a fairly luxurious place. Yumni himself also did not mind because he thought talking in an open area like this felt more familiar and comfortable.
Yumni pulled out his phone as if waiting for an order to come, while Amra who did not have a sophisticated phone was just quietly enjoying the new atmosphere. Unlike in the village, after the maghrib prayer, the atmosphere felt very quiet, because everyone chose to enter their homes to just talk with family. This is new for Amra
"Yes?" Amra turned her eyes to Yumni
"Ceritain dong why did you get this changed? Da... It was so calm before you... But now I really feel your change..." Amra just smiled faintly in response to that question
"Have you experienced anything of a very spiritual nature?"
"I don't know what happened to me Yum, I just live what I have to live.you make no mistake, the appearance of a person can not measure how deep his faith.. obviously I'm definitely not as good as what looks on the outside! I'm just someone who's in the process of learning..." Yumni sighed and looked moved
"That's it... You made my heart shake..." Yumni complains spoiled, making Amra smile knots
"Don't go overboard like that Yum, I'll be a big head..."
"Why did you refuse Hafidz?" Amra's smile faded a little
"Is it true just because you hoped for Fatih?"
"The first reason is because I feel like I haven't done anything yet! I still haven't achieved the word success for my dreams, you know... I still want to wander..."
"Second reason?"
"Trainer...." Short Amra while looking down
"Don't you say he's married?"
"really. I must have sinned so much to expect the love of people's husbands....." Yumni fell silent because he did not know what to respond to. And it just so happened that their order came. So there was no talk back while the meal was going on.
~The next day~
Today is the day the struggle of an Amra began, after a night of making some job application letters, this morning he will start his efforts to find a job. He left alone, armed with instructions from Yumni. Where he had to take the bus, what bus he had to take, where the route he had to take to get to Yumni's house back, all of it he wrote in his notebook.
This morning, he was going around the shopping complex not far from Yumni's house. Who knows, one of the shops there needs an employee. An old backpack accompanied his journey. Amra immediately asked the angkot driver she was riding to stop the car once she reached the store she meant.
And he entered the store that had been opened one by one to ask. But the answer he received was still the same even though he had entered almost five shops there
"I'm sorry.... No more mbak...!"
Untiring, Amra was still trying. I don't know how many shops he has entered, all did not make the application letter he made reduced even though only one. The sun has risen, the weather in this big city is certainly not the same as the weather in the village. The hour hand was still showing at 10:30 am, but the blistering, hot, thirsty, tired began to weaken his efforts a little.
But Amra will never stop trying. After momentarily quenching her thirst with a few sips of drinking water that she brought from Yumni's house, Amra continued on her way. This time he decided to move back, he stopped an angkot and he did not know where the angkot would take him. But he was sure, as long as he clearly remembered what Yumni had explained last night, he would not be lost. About 10 minutes in the car, he again asked the driver to stop his car.
He was in another shopping complex. His feet stepped back and hoped that this time his cover letter would be reduced. Two three shops refused, Amra came back out with a tired-looking face. Now he felt how difficult it was to find a job. But not the time he complained, he intended this step for worship, for the sake of the happiness of the mother, although this could not be enough to repay all the affection of the mother.
For a moment he remembered, how easy he received yesterday. The road was so wide open for him, yet he rejected the ease for the sake of an ego. Was it wrong to make a decision? Has he rejected the fate of the almighty? Is it too rash? But it's impossible to come back...........
"That's Amra! Do what you have chosen!" he murmured in the heart
