The Strange River

A BMW 4 car sped out of City B. The car was headed west. After some time, the car finally reached a village not far from there.

The car goes directly to the south of the village, more precisely to the river in the south of the village. Arriving at a deserted parking lot, Adam stops his car.

The place he visited this time is a location that is usually used for people who like fishing. Some time ago, there was a strange incident in the area.

Some children mysteriously disappeared. If it was just one child, perhaps the child had unwittingly fallen and washed up in the river. However, the children who disappeared in that place numbered four!

Suspected of child abduction, the site was temporarily closed. Yes ... indeed it was closed and Adam entered the place illegally.

Adam suspects that the cause of the children's disappearance is not the kidnapping, but the action of evil spirits or ghosts!

Although not one hundred percent sure, Adam still tried to go to the place directly. If it's a kidnapper, it's the police's job to take care of it. If it is related to evil spirits or ghosts.

The reason why Adam came at night was certainly to make sure that the ghost would appear. Yes...may be able to appear during the day. However, Adam preferred night to avoid unnecessary trouble. One of them is police.

It's just .. the young man who often felt lucky was unlucky. Just getting off the car along with Nix, the sound of sirens sounded. A police car arrived at the site.

Looking at the police car parked beside his car, Adam was stunned.

Hearing that familiar voice made the corner of Adam's lips twitch. When the door of the police car opened, a familiar figure appeared before Adam. She was the woman who had previously captured the young man along with some of his comrades.

Realizing that Jennifer was glaring at him, Adam pretended to cough.

“A beautiful woman like you doesn't deserve to go out at night, Miss Jennifer, it's dangerous. There are many-”

Not yet had Adam's voice faded, Jennifer directly took the gun from her waist and pointed it at the young man. But something strange happened …

Jennifer was surprised to see Adam's movements were so strong and fast. Unable to move her body and feel pain either in her neck or arms. It looks angry and dissatisfied.

A fantasy instantly popped into Jennifer's head. A cop who was arrested by a malicious mafia, then …

“L-Detach me.”

Jennifer said in a panicked tone. His breathing is starting to go bad. The woman was clearly so agitated.

Seeing Jennifer's expression, Adam immediately let go. The woman who lost her strength and limp instantly dropped herself to the ground. Start breathing air greedily because of previous difficulty breathing.

Still feeling the sensation of pain in her neck, Jennifer touched her own neck and looked at Adam hatefully.

“Then for what you came to this place!” jennifer exclaimed with a dissatisfied expression.

“Investigating the disappearance of children in this place.”

Hearing Adam's reply, Jennifer was immediately shocked. I didn't know that the young man was doing the same thing as him.

“Are you a private detective? Seems not. If you're a private detective, you should check during the day. Then ...” Jennifer muttered softly. Looks like we're guessing the identity of ‘asli’ Adam.

At that very instant, the sound of water splashing sounded. Since the location of the parking lot was not far from the river, the two heard the voice clearly.

Jennifer and Adam turned to the river. In a wide and dark river, the water continued to churn and splatter. A pair of small hands appeared and disappeared in the water.

Seeing that, Jennifer paled. The woman clearly saw the drowning little boy and looked straight at Adam.

“What are you waiting for! Save him!”

Listening to Jennifer's orders, Adam was silent. The young man continued to look towards the river. Although it looked very similar, the young man felt a familiar sensation.
