One week later.
Sitting behind the Wings of Freedom headquarters, Adam enjoys afternoon tea.
A lot has happened in this week. Wings of Freedom had finished annexing the western area, even the border with the southern area of the city. Their names are also increasingly heard from the mouth of the residents of City B.
Many people are afraid of them. However, many residents also respect and are grateful for them, especially the lower class and the homeless.
After the Wings of Freedom took control of the western area, there was no more pickpocketing, robbery, and rape in the western area of the city. Apparently, the criminals who used to act in the suburbs were terrified and did not dare to do much.
Not only that, Black Wings even recruited orphaned youths who had no place to live or go home. They were absorbed by the Black Wings and trained to be part of the Wings of Freedom family.
Not stopping there, for people who are less capable but have families, Wings of Freedom does not absorb them. However, they still want to hire them in the shops or small street stalls owned by Black Wings. Of course, in addition to the salaries of its employees, the profits from the business were used to finance the development of Black Wings.
As Adam had said earlier, Black Wings and White Wings were not mixed up. They have their own goals and development direction. Therefore, they need to be more independent. Black Wings should be able to make money no matter how much, and White Wings should be able to grow strong fighters even if only a few.
That said, compared to other areas, the western part of City B really became the most quiet and peaceful money. Newcomers may not believe that there are groups controlling the area because it is too peaceful.
"My choice to hand over the Wings of Freedom to you is not wrong, Senior Adam."
Standing behind Adam, Shawn looked at the sky with a smile on his face. Recalling the small group of brats from rich families then comparing it to the Wings of Freedom now, the man shook his head.
Shawn himself did not miss the Wings of Freedom that used to be. Because even after their group became big, its members were still familiar with each other. It is not at all visible to each other because of their rank or position. Of course, leisure time is leisure time and work time is work time. They do not mix personal affairs with group affairs. Wings of Freedom will remain harmonious.
"By the way .. If I may know, who is that boy, Senior Adam?"
Shawn stared into the backyard, there, appeared a short boy wearing a plain white mask. The boy fought with two adults alone. Using the bokken in his hand, he made use of his short body to dodge and fend off various attacks well. Although his strength was not comparable to an adult, he could actually still defeat two adults.
"He's my student, you can call him One."
"..."
Naturally, after the boy's arrival three days ago, Shawn knew that the masked boy was called One. But he was not stupid, One obviously codenamed the boy and not his real name.
That boy, One .. is Nam's other identity. Since his identity was so sensitive, now he had to keep it hidden.
Unable to leave Nam in the village for too long, Adam decides to take Nam to the Wings of Freedom. In fact, other than Nam, the young man had been looking for underage orphans from the villages of Kota B, homeless outcasts.
Adam had bought a large building not far from the headquarters of the Wings of Freedom. This will be the place where the children live. It will operate like an orphanage as well as a military base and a school. Yes ... Adam intends to create a team that is covertly trained and not shown to the public.
Led by Nam, the small, inconspicuous group was named Grey Wings. Of course, only Adam, Nam, and the would-be members would know that. Even Shawn and the rest of the Wings of Freedom don't know what Adam's trying to do. For them, the young man simply behaved generously to gather the children without family and home. Give them a warm house, food, and education.
Shawn looked towards Nam. The masked boy made her a little depressed. Even if Nam is weaker than Shawn and the other three, but after a few years, the boy should be able to catch up with them.
It really made the four leaders feel pressure!
'As expected of Senior Adam, even his disciple was a ferocious little monster!'
Thought Shawn with a wry smile on his face.
"Yes! Has anyone missed me?!"
"You're coming, Matt."
Adam said relax.
Matt nodded with a respectful expression. He then advanced to the backyard. Approaching Nam, the young man smiled.
"This time beat two people, One?! It seems that if I'm not serious, you'll catch up with me soon."
"Nm ... Thank you, Matt."
Matt laughed when he heard Nam's rather innocent and childish speech. Within three days, as the freest man in Wings of Freedom, Matt was the person Nam was most familiar with besides Adam.
"Look! Gift for you! Drink it later in the room after the shower."
Matt gives Nam a bottle of fruit-flavored milk. The boy accepted it and said in a somewhat overwhelmed tone.
"Thank you, Matt."
"Then I'm gone!"
"En." Nam nodded small.
Looking towards Matt, Adam and Shawn glanced at each other. They don't comment much.
From Shawn's mouth, Adam learns that Matt once had a younger brother. But his sister died in an accident a few years ago. If he's alive, he should be about Nam's age. Therefore, the two of them felt natural when Matt showed his sister's side when dealing with Nam.
Of course, the two of them did not discuss it in front of Matt. They did not want to open the old wounds, so just watched in silence.
"By the way, I brought you things that might please you, Chief."
Scratching the back of his head with a smile on his face, Matt walked up to Adam and handed him a brown envelope. Seeing that, the corner of Shawn's lips twitched.
"You should give a report first, right? You really .. haah ..."
Shawn took a long breath. Knowing that Matt was excited because of Nam, he ended up just smiling bitterly.
"It's okay" said Adam casually.
Adam opened the big brown envelope and saw what was inside. There were several sheets of paper containing notes, but he did not focus there. Instead, the young man stared at some of the photos he had placed on the table because ...
Those are some photos of Lulu taken recently!
Reading the explanatory paper, Adam's eyes narrowed. His expression became more serious, but he also seemed quite satisfied.
"I finally found you ..."
