"The content is eight weeks, and this is in line with estimates." The doctor turned to the couple, who were both staring at a large monitor in front of the woman, displaying the conditions inside Nania's womb.
"Three fetuses inside are growing well and they are healthy. It's just …." She zoomed in on a screen display on one of the fetuses.
"Why?" Daryl reacted by leaning on his body to see the picture more clearly.
"One of them is smaller than two brothers. But that's okay, and it's normal." The doctor continued, but left Nania and Daryl speechless for a while.
"Don't worry, they're still evolving and everything's workable."
"Is that .. okay? I mean …."
"Everything's fine. If Bu Nania goes through all my advice and keeps the doctor's rules, there will be no obstacles. They'll be fine because the mother's womb is the best place to develop."
Daryl and Nania looked at each other.
"Always eat foods that are nutritious and good for the body because it will also have an impact on fetal development huh, Ms Nania? And don't forget the medicine, the vitamins and the milk are taken according to the rules." The black-hooded doctor smiled.
"Serious doctor? Don't make me afraid of this kind of news, Doctor. You know what we've been through and this is what we've been looking forward to after all this time." Daryl assured Nania of her condition.
"It's okay, Mr. Daryl. It's not a serious thing. I've told you that fetal development is still in its early stages, and it all depends on the mother's habits."
"Hm …."
"Continue taking all the vitamins and supplements? When it comes to eating I'm sure you understand." said the doctor again who almost ended the consultation session on that day.
"Good, Doctor. Thank you." Thank you." Daryl answers and helps Nania get up and fix her clothes after her USG is done.
"Then what about me, Doctor?" Before he came out he asked again.
"What's the matter, sir?"
"Why do I feel it? It's starting to bother you a little, Doctor." He complained, which made the doctor laugh.
"That's how sympathetic pregnancy is, sir. You just have to be patient? Will be gone by yourself."
"But months? I'm going to be tormented. Especially if you have to stay away from Nania. It feels like dying!"
Nania rolled her eyes because the longer the silliness in her husband got worse. Not to mention his sometimes unreasonable desire and troublesome almost everyone in the house.
"Save it to the positive, sir. I'm sure it can be because dads don't have as much responsibility at home as moms."
"What for example?"
"anything. It could be with sports, or running a hobby."
"My sports and hobbies are with Nania. Uh. .. he meant to be with Nania." The man used his words when Nania slapped her thigh under the table.
"Yes as long as it's a positive thing and not burdensome for pregnant women, just do it. Light exercise is also highly recommended so that the fitness of the mother is maintained and can launch the birth process later." explained the doctor.
"Is that?"
"Yes. Walk together every morning and evening, jogging or swimming. That's very good for pregnant women."
"All right."

"Be careful, Baby!" The man helped Nania get into the car and he made sure she was sitting comfortably in her place.
Daryl even made himself a leaning place for Nania to be able to stay aware of her condition while on the way home. While the woman only received all her husband's treatment without protest.
He knew how Daryl would react if he did, and it was far more sinister than anything.
"You wanna buy something, hum? Food or drink, for example? Do we still have snacks at home? Or is there less? How's it?" The man did not let go throughout the trip even though all day Nania's activities on campus were quite crowded.
"No, I want to go home ah." Such was Nania's reply which leaned comfortably on her husband's body.
"Relatedly? Don't want to buy milk tea or something? Don't let you whine when we're home?"
Nania laughed while nodding her head. "There's Mima's a mother who can make it, Dadd."
"Oh, how nice my wife is. You don't want to trouble your husband, do you?" Daryl kissed the top of his head affectionately, then hugged him tightly.
While Regan behind then rolled her eyeballs, careless. Every day, every time he had to listen to scenes like this because indeed since Nania pregnant her duties in addition to being an assistant also doubles as Daryl's driver. Especially since the man experienced his sympathetic pregnancy symptoms.
"What is true? The one who is pregnant does not trouble anyone, but himself every time makes everyone confused." Inner monologues.
It's true, every day there is Daryl's behavior that makes anyone around him caress the chest. Whether it's about food, his place to work or anything that sometimes makes him lose the mood to work. And the hardest part of this is of course Regan's responsibility to deal with it because he is the one who is nearby at all times.
"But Daddy, I think I'd like some roasted chicken." Nania spoke after a while.
"What's? Grilled chicken?"
"Hu'um." Nania nodded her head.
"Well, I called Mama to tell Mima to make it for you." Daryl reached into his cell phone in his pocket. "When do you want it? Once we get home or what?" ask her later.
"I want a roast chicken in Mom's house." Nania hesitated a bit.
"At Mom's house?" Daryl.
"Yes." Yeah." The woman stood up and looked at her husband's face.
"I told you that mom sells chicken rice at home? It feels good, I think I want it."
Daryl.
"Yes, can you? We'll stop by Mom's place. Just a moment to buy roasted chicken doang, we immediately go home. It's okay to eat there too even if it's better to eat there anyway, but don't go. We take away. Can Dadd?" Nania tilted her head with a face pleading with him, which Daryl of course wanted to refuse.
"Hey, I haven't answered. Why is your reaction like that, hum?" But Daryl immediately pulled them back together because Nania's mood mode like this made her cringe.
"Regan, did you hear what Nania wanted? Let's go there!" Then he turned to the assistant.
"Good, sir." Regan immediately followed the orders of his superiors.
And Nania's face looked happy as soon as they arrived in the alley towards Mirna's house which seemed quite crowded that afternoon.
The tantalizing aroma of spiced chicken meat that is burned seduces the sense of smell of anyone who passes and it is indeed the attraction.
"A lot of your mother's place?" Daryl clutched Nania's hand tightly and she kept the woman away from the passersby as if afraid she would get hit or something happened to her.
"Yesterday wasn't this big, Dadd. People must know that there's good food here." Nania looked at the crowd in her mother's courtyard with a proud look.
"Yeah, right." The man rolled his eyeballs. "Wait a minute! Let those people pass first. What do you want to mess with them?" Again he pulled Nania who was almost into the area where some buyers were waiting.
Nania just laughed while Regan behind them just fell silent and occasionally shook her head to hear and listen to the words of the superior.
"Nenice?" Mirna realized her daughter's whereabouts once the people had already left after getting their order.
And Nania smiled as soon as she saw her mother's face that looked exhausted but was looking elated. Yes, she knew that Mirna was excited by the serene look in her eyes and seemed to be enjoying her work right now.
"Mother!!" Now he could not be stopped even though Daryl still clasped his hand tightly, and instead continued to pull the man closer.
"I miss! Healthy mom?" Her question was immediately scattered to hug the mother.
"As you can see, I'm fine." Mira answered, then her gaze turned to Daryl who was silent without letting go of Nania's hand.
"Yes, I saw a lot. Is every day like this?" asked Nania who looked around.
"Not always, but this is how it gets crowded. His name is also trading. There are times of plenty, sometimes quiet. But sometimes it's just normal."
Nania nodded her head.
"Where are you from?" Mirna then asked.
"From the hospital, Mom."
"Hospital?"
Nania nodded.
"You sick?" Mirna held onto Nania's shoulder and framed her face. He checked his daughter's state, and a worried look on his face.
And that made the princess speechless because it was the first time she had received such treatment. His eyes even warmed up and he was almost speechless.
"What pain are you? Not bad, right?" ask Mirna again which also makes Daryl and Regan look at each other.
"I'm .. It's okay." Nania's voice was slightly choked.
"Who is sick? You, Daryl?" Dai turned to his son-in-law.
"No!" Nania slightly chuckled to neutralize the strange feeling in her heart after seeing the reaction of the mother. "I'm just .. pregnant" she said later.
"What?"
The woman smiled as she nodded her head.
"You pregnant?" Mirna confirmed what she heard.
"Yes, it's been two months." Nania touched her stomach while looking at her husband with a big smile.
"Two months? Oh God!" Miran then touched her stomach as well. "You pregnant? Holy hooch! Why did you just know?"
Nania was still smiling while Daryl and Regan looked alert. They will never forget what happened before.
"And there are three, ma'am." Nania continued who made the two female eyeballs widen.
"Three?"
Nania nodded back.
"Oh God! Come, Son! You are so great! Three is a lot and you did well! Oh God!" Mirna immediately hugged him with all of her haru in her chest, and she even almost cried for it.
Daryl clasped his hands when the two women hugged each other and he still couldn't believe his in-laws were acting this way.
"Well, now sit down. What do you want? Want some grilled chicken? Chicken penyet? Or what? Let's tell Mom!" Then Mirna pulled him to the seat behind them, and occasionally she wiped the wet corners of her eyes.
"I want grilled chicken, so come by here." Nania replied after gulping down the drink that the woman had poured for her.
"Burning chicken? Okay, wait a minute I'll make it," he said. "And what do you want?" Then he turned again to his silent daughter-in-law without saying anything since they arrived.
"He doesn't, I want to. The best for Regan." Nania answered who knew how her husband was feeling at this moment.
Of course he understood that the man had not been able to fully accept Mirna because of the events that happened to him over a year ago. And Nania wouldn't bother with that right now, let alone force Daryl to behave the way she wanted. Because in this way he was happy.
"All right." And Mirna understood that, so she immediately made what her daughter wanted.
"Maybe grilled chicken will be very good if eaten this afternoon." But suddenly the man opened a voice that made things suddenly become quiet.
Nania and Mirna looked at each other, but a moment later a smile appeared on the lips of the two.
"Well, wait a minute." And the woman really did what her son and daughter-in-law asked.
