"Good day, Mom?" Regan stood on the terrace as soon as Amara opened the door.
"Yes, Regan?" The woman frowned.
"Sorry, is Ann there?"
Not yet Amara replied, but the sound of hasty footsteps could be heard approaching. And the girl in question had already arrived in the middle of the stairs. She ran from her room as soon as she found out Regan had arrived.
"That's, Ann." Amara looked back.
"Mh …." The atmosphere felt awkward for a while. "Rice." Regan then lifted the parcel in her hand containing the ointment and plaster she had bought from the pharmacy on the way to Galang's house.
The man took the time to get out of Fia's Secret's office as soon as the break for him arrived. What more purpose if not to meet his lover.
"Why not from earlier? My legs hurt." Anandita approached him immediately.
"Eee .. I have to finish …." But the girl dragged him out.
"Ann?" Amara stared at the interaction in surprise.
"I'm out here, brother, just for a second." Anandita screamed a little.
The two men sat on a garden chair beside the large house belonging to Amara and Galang.
Anandita applied a clear gel-shaped ointment on the blisters on her legs, then after a little drying she covered with plaster.
"You shouldn't close like that if you don't wear shoes. Leave it open to dry quickly." Regan beside him, watching.
"It hurts tofu!" The girl was still focused on her feet.
"Yes if it closes like that it will be difficult to dry."
"It's okay, not going anywhere." He answers.
"But the pain is longer."
Anandita. "But so meet her Om more often." He smiled broadly revealing his neatly lined white teeth.
"Nr …."
"Om long rest, huh? How did you get here?" The girl spoke again.
"No, just an hour as usual." And Regan stared at her watch which showed it at 12:25.
"Well eat?"
The man shook his head.
"Yet? Why?"
"You need to drop the ointment for you first."
Anandita smiled again, this time her cheeks slightly blushed.
"Why are you staying here?" Regan asked now.
"Yes the responsibility yesterday to follow Galang. It's easy, right?"
"What's it for?"
"Let Om easily find me if miss, because if at home there is CCTV."
The man spread his gaze around the side courtyard.
"But here it is also impossible that there is no CCTV," he said, staring at the corner of the terrace ceiling.
"But not as hard as at home."
"Bas with you!"
Anandita laughing.
"Om gonna eat?" ask her later, and she tidied up the ointment and plaster that were strewn nearby.
"No, thank you." Regan refuses.
"Keep what dong? I'm confused."
"You want to." The man muttered while sticking his back on the back of the chair with both hands folded on the chest.
"Huh?"
"Handestine, hahaha." Then Regan laughed.
"The joke is unclear."
"Indeed. It's so weird, duh." Regan scratched her non-itchy head, then she chuckled.
"I ... returned to Fia's Secret, afraid that Mr. Daryl was looking. Can be angry if it's not there." Then he got up.
"Have you arrived?" And Anandita followed him with a glance.
"Yes, but will you stay here long? Later on, Ma Ara will be suspicious." Regan glanced towards Amara's mansion.
Anandita got up, and the man stretched out his hand to help. Which was immediately greeted cheerfully by him.
"Ann?" Then came the voice of Amara calling, which made them let go of the hand.
"Yes?" Anandita turned her body.
"Eat. Just take Regan as well." said the brother.
"Mh …." The girl looked back where Regan was.
"No need, Mom. I have to get back to Fia's Secret." But the man refused.
"Newly half one?" say Amara again.
"Yes, but a trip there takes a while. Know for yourself how the streets in Jakarta."
"Hm …."
"I'm saying hi?" Regan is gone soon.
"Suspicious." Amara muttered as she looked at the man who got into her car then left immediately.
"Hum? What's the?" Anandita responded to the brother's words.
"Regan."
"Why?"
"Why indeed? The guy he just salves."
Amara squinted her eyes.
"Can Om Der's assistant nganterin ointment for you?"
"I asked for it." Anandita grabs a package of ointment delivered by Regan, then breezes toward the house.
"She's not working? The task of Om Der is like a lot." He followed his sister.
"Say through."
"Nice right." Amara looked suspiciously.
"Who is, the man I asked what ointment he loved yesterday. After that he wants to be brought what is not? He said as he passed by between what it's got clients."
Amara was still in disbelief, but the younger sister just waltzed into her room without excessive expression.
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
Daryl smiled as soon as he saw Nania coming out of the gate of his campus, with Mahira as usual.
"You waited a long time?" The woman rushed over after first parting with her classmates.
"No, just now." Daryl reached out asking for a tote bag containing books and some duties belonging to his wife, then he stored it in the back seat.
"I think Regan picked it up?"
"No, he's a lot of work." The man looked at his new watch showing at two in the afternoon. The weather in Jakarta is hot.
"Whoa, your man he's the one who's done it."
Daryl laughs. "That's his job. And for that he was paid."
"Replace the job of the superior?"
"Uh'um …."
"Can you get home early?"
"Yes once in a while." Daryl opened the passenger door. "Shall we?" Then he hinted at the woman to come in.
"How's the first day of college after the holidays?" They passed through the city road as usual, which by noon was quite crowded. What else is it? Jakarta's position as the capital city indeed makes it the center of government and the economy makes it experience an extraordinary busyness.
"It's normal, but it can be a lot of work too."
"Much?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"What a cruel lecturer mudmu that. Just been to college a lot of work?"
Nania laughs. "Emang should be, Dadd."
"But my wife is tired, right?" The man rubbed the top of Nania's head gently.
"Udah ordinary. No campus assignments are also often sapped." Nania answered the origin.
"What?"
"Duty at home. Not to mention the amazing baby momong."
Daryl laughed when he understood his wife's words.
Nania frowned while squinting her eyes when it felt like looking at the familiar figure ahead there.
There, on the sidewalk, Mirna seemed to be waiting for something.
He reflexively lowered the glass and turned his head when the car driven by Daryl had already passed the woman. Mirna was really there.
"Why?" The man looked through the spy.
"Mh …." Nania regained her senses, then she raised the glass and returned to her position.
"Who's there?" Daryl is still staring at the rearview mirror while playing the speed of his car.
"I think I saw you, but …."
"Mother?"
"Maybe I saw it wrong. Hehe." She looked at her husband's face.
"Where?" ask Daryl who increasingly plays the four-wheeled vehicle.
"After, but …."
Then the man pulled over to the side and stopped.
"Where?" Daryl then turned his head and looked for Mirna's whereabouts as Nania had said.
The woman was stunned.
"Nothing" said Daryl, who saw the sidewalk behind his car.
"Umm .. Maybe I saw it wrong, Dadd."
"Hmm ... do you remember mom?" The man returned to his car.
Nania did not answer, but she looked at her husband's face.
"It's been a year. How is he?" Daryl suddenly said.
"I .. don't know. I never saw you again after …." Nania hung her words as she saw the look on the man's face that changed.
"Daddy, I want milktea." Then he switched the subject when he saw a booze vendor in the parking lot of a supermarket.
"Hum?"
"Let's hang out first in indoapril? I guess it hasn't been a long time." He said with a cheerful look.
And Daryl indulged in his will without many words, he turned his black Rubicon towards the convenience store, and it made Nania happy.
