Unknowingly the two corners of Regan's lips were attracted to form a smile after reading Anandita's whatsapp story that afternoon.
As usual, he checked it out once every hour or two because indeed the girl was always updating him. And Regan knows that what Anandita wrote was addressed to her.Â
"Geeer!" He muttered, then stuffed the flat object into his suit pocket.
"It looks like you're really happy today, huh?" Daryl glanced at the glance of his subordinates who were cleaning up documents and other things.
"Sorry, Sir?" Regan stopped her work.
"You're out of lottery or what? It's so weird." The man leaned his back on the head of the chair.
"Or just got a love message from your girlfriend?" He stared full of search.
Just as Regan was about to answer his question, the man suddenly got up. "Hey, why did I get to be a kepo once? And it's good that if you had a boyfriend, you wouldn't be lonely anymore, would you?" said. "I want to go home, Nania is waiting for me at home." Daryl walked out of his room.
And his mood was no less happy, heard from a whistle that flowed and occasionally he hummed.
"Time to go home, Dinna. Don't keep working." There was also a speech to the secretary in front, while Regan cleared her desk.
Seen from his last story, Anandita is still in school. Complete with photos of activities he was doing with his friends containing the description 'Last day before UTS' embedded in his photo. And Regan patiently waited.
"What did the boy do until this afternoon? What kind of school is this? The factory? Until there's overtime too." He muttered as he looked at his watch which showed it at five in the afternoon.
Then his attention shifted when the noise was heard and the high gate of the famous High School in Jakarta was slowly opened, and hundreds of students in sequence came out. And Anandita's figure soon finds Regan in the crowd.
"Ann, wait!" looks like his friend is coming from behind.
"What?" And the girl looked over without stopping her steps.
"Tomorrow a gathering before UTS, would you like to come along?" he asked, and they stopped after passing through the gate.
"What gathering? The party?" Anandita asked.
"It's kind of like that."
"Don't promise. I'm sure I won't get permission." Then he answered.
"Most of all, not in any other place."
"Where is the gathering? How many people?" The girl asked carefully.
"Only in Kemang. So far, three classes have been taken."
"Many of them."
"Eat him."
"Our class included?" ask Anandita again.
"The half of them will come."
He thought for a moment.
"What time?"
"From afternoon till night."
"Well, sure you won't get permission, hahaha." Then Anandita laughed. "No, no, no coming. I'm lazy to debate with my Papa."
"Come on, if you want me to be the same friends who found your dad, let's be sure." persuade the young man.
"No, no need. Tomorrow I have activities at the reading house. Kids want exams, too." A moment later he made his decision.
"Ah, you're not cool, Ann. What's wrong with occasionally meeting up with friends? Is it not a sin?"
"It's not a matter of sin or sin, but I have a priority and a commitment to work on what I've been following first. And I also have a responsibility, not half-and-half." Anandita replied, diplomatically.
"Hmm .. Yes."
"Sorry, Rangga? Maybe next time."
The young man nodded his head.
"Ann?" Then another call pulled Anandita away.Â
Arkhan looked ready on the side of the sidewalk with his motorbike, and Anandita approached.
"You call Papa gih, I'd like to stop by the workshop first" said his twin brother.
"What?"
"You ask to pick up Papa, I want the Ijo's service first."
"Ish, you! Didn't he say that from earlier? Tar I have to wait, right long?" He reacted. "Udah go along" he said, asking for a spare helmet.
"No way, Ann. I served him long. Choose to be polished, change seats, brakes are also thin, not the bus is dirty." Arkhan.
"Huh, you have a lot of complaints about motorcycles?"
"Yes, his name is also …."
"Keep me waiting here then? Is it long, Ar? Anterin used to go home, you serve tomorrow only." said Anandita who almost went up behind him.
"No way, danger will be!"
"All right, alesan, you!"
"Udah, call Papa. Or order a taxi online. I love you." Arkhan handed a piece of twenty thousand bills to his brother.
"No need! Twenty thousand mah I have." Anandita swerved while folding both her hands on her chest.
"Oh, yeah." And Arkhan almost put the money back in his pants pocket when Anandita grabbed him quickly.
"Duh? He said he didn't need it?" He's a little surprised.
"I want an ice baby jajanin while waiting for an invitation!" Then the brother and sister debate ended when Anandita retreated to the edge of the sidewalk and Arkhan decided to leave.
"Enak is a boy. Can go home late with alesan go to the workshop." Anandita grumbled as she turned on her phone to contact her father.
"Hallo, Papa? The arkhan stopped by the workshop, so I went home alone." And he was directly connected to his father.
"Yes, Papa knows. It's coming to get you." Arfan answered from across.
"Yes, the spit." Then his gaze shifted when a car stopped in front of him, and he was stunned when he recognized who was behind the wheel.
"Umm ... Papa?" Anandita hastily called out to her father.
"Yes, Ann? Waita minute. This is Papa pulling out a car." Arfan answered again.
"Umm .. I don't think it's necessary, it's …." He smiled as Regan got down and walked towards him.
"Papa was first. There was Om Regan passing by." ' he said, who suddenly felt so happy.Â
"What?"
"There's Om Regan, I'm gonna go along for a while."
"Don't, Ann. This is Papa really going to pick you up. Just wait."
"Umm .. no need, I go with Om Regan just so not long" he said again that immediately turned off the call.
"Nobody picked you up?" her bases after her distance were quite close to the girl. Though he also knew that there had just been a heated debate between the two twin brothers even though he did not know what they were arguing about.
"Not yet." Anandita answered.
"Where's arkhan?" And Regan acted as if looking for the whereabouts of Arkhan who had left a while ago.
"You go to the workshop, so I'm left." he frowned, like a child complaining to his father.
"Your father?" The man looked to his right and left to make sure it was safe.
"You want me to call but Om's hunting comes." Anandita felt her heart pounding violently right now.
"Yet?"
"Mh …." Then the girl shook her head while tightly clenching her mouth.
"Yes, come on?" Regan jerked her head, then backed off after opening the car door for her.
"Want me to come home?" Anandita.
"Well, when will I kidnap you?" Regan answered the origin.
It's okay to be kidnapped too, I'm willing. Anandita nodded, then she giggled. Funny in his own mind.
"Hey, what are you laughing at?" Regan's words surprised her a little.
"Umm .. No, Om." she replied, and she immediately got into the car as Regan ordered.
"I'll take Ann home, sir." The man sends a message to Arfan before running his car.
The two-tick checkmark immediately turned blue shortly after the message was sent, but there was no reply so Regan immediately turned on the four-wheeled machine, and he immediately took Arfan Sanjaya's daughter to leave the school area.
"You know, Ann." Regan started the conversation. "It's very risky if you make such a story too often." He tried to focus on the capital's fairly congested street traffic.
"What risk?" While the girl turned on the music on her phone.
"Your father can know and then suspect something."Â
"Surprisingly about what? Papa's story can be suspicious?" Anandita laughing. "I have some privacy, only Om doang can see."
"Stay …."
"There's some. Especially if the hapenya Mr. Arfan who holds."
"Times?"
"You don't know …."
"Somegr …."
"Makany …."
"But no one knows whose story it is for?"
"Pak Arfan's suspicions could have led him to investigate and eventually find out."
"Ah, Om overestimated." Anandita laughed again. "It's just a story, Om."
Regan appears to be exhaling in the air while stopping the car as the traffic light turns red.
"Partially, if for example the story is a danger, then why did Om even pass to the school area and go down to take me home?" The girl asked a question.
"I accidentally passed by, just by chance from Nania's campus." Regan reasoned.
"Whoever? Get Aunt Nania? Where's the guy?" Anandita looked back to find evidence that what the man beside her said was true.
"No …." Regan answered immediately.
"Keep out what?"
"There's business." lied him, with his brain starting to spin to find answers.
Also true. Why are you doing it, Regan? The man is inward.
"What business?" asked Anandita again who leaned slightly towards the man.
"What business, what business?" Regan answered tightly in the hope that the girl would believe her words.
"Hmmm …." Anandita retreated while scuffling and squinting. "The money is the same as Mahira?" he said, with suspicion.
"What?" Which made Regan turn her face away.
"I know, every morning Om goes back and forth to the campus of Aunt Nania, what else would it be if there was no business with Mahira?"
"No, Ann. Not that!" Regan reacted.
"Hmm .. don't believe." The girl thaws. "Part of what to take care of, the Aunt Nania also today did not go to college."
"You know?"
"Yes, you know, Aunt Nania made up more stories at home all day."
Regan clenched her mouth again.
"Times only report the permission of lecturer Om also who fuss?" continued Anandita, still in suspicious mode. "There's definitely other business, right?" said again.
"Yes, there's other business." The man answered back.
"Yes, same thing with Mahira."
"No, Ann!" sergeant Regan returns to drive his car when the lights in front turn green.
"Keep what?" The girl kept asking.
"City …."
"Om lying!" Anandita squinted her eyes.
"No!"
"No confidence."
"Seriously." Regan seemed to be convincing a jealous lover.
"Hmm .. It's okay too. But I swear that relationship won't work." Anandita.
"What?"
"You're the same as anyone, the end should be the same as me. Otherwise, I'm damning single-minded for life!" said the girl seriously, making Regan stop the speed of his car suddenly.
"Of!!" Luckily the seatbelt they wear is so strong that there is no incident thrown forward because of it. It's just that it caused a commotion outside of the car behind which the driver was upset because Regan stopped suddenly.
"Om gonna make us an accident?" Anandita yells.
"You're talking recklessly!" Regan returned to the four-wheeled engine, while the girl in the passenger seat was still grumbling.
"I'm serious."
"Hey, we're nobody. No relationship, no ties. Why are you acting like that?" Regan kept talking.
"Bodo very! Om also ngawasin I continue when there is nothing nugasin."
"Ann!"
"Udah, don't keep talking. Cepetan ajar me home!" The girl pouted.

Anandita came out and slammed the door hard before Regan could get down, then she hurried into the house.
"Lho, Ann? Why?" Dygta who was watering plants in the yard also reacted.
Die, Regan! Inner Regan who stared at the two-story building to look for the existence of Arfan. The first thing he always does if he enters the area of the house.
"Om Regan bummer!" The girl screamed.
"Huh?" Dygta turned towards Regan.
"Eee .. sorry, Mom. I didn't do anything. I'm just talking about ... eee …." He thinks harder.
"Is there a problem?" ask the 42-year-old.
"Ha-just misunderstood, Mom. Sorry." Regan answered.
"Misunderstand what?" Now it was Dygta who asked with a full look.
"Eee .. that …."
Duh, what is it? Regan scratched her un-itchy head.
What was the reason this time that he had to throw out? Especially now that he is really in the residence of Arfan Sanjaya. There may be another misunderstanding because of the girl.
But after a few minutes apparently Anandita realized what was going to happen, and what would be caused by his attitude and it made him come back while throwing his workbook at school. It's also a shame that Regan should be suspected of misbehaving because of her anger.
"My people are just discussing the task, Om nagging him even everywhere. Kayak Arfan Sanjaya!" he said he ran back into the house and hoped that his mother would not wonder.
"Duh?" Dygta picked up the object and examined it.
Regan understands, and they both have to cover this up. Although he actually did not understand what to cover, but it would be dangerous not to do it. Because the suspicion that will arise over Anandita's attitude to him will cause something that is not good for them.
"Just a task, Regan. What do you see?" The woman showed me the contents of her daughter's book of duties.
"Eee .. I think it was .. Ann and her friend were …."
Dygta laughed so hard that his face looked up. "Rechergan, Regan. You just exist. You think Ann's dating? It's funny." The woman shook her head.
"Where dare he do that? You can hang the papa if you get caught."
Duh …
"Had to be angry. Not you, not the papa. You're both suspicious." Dygta laughed again.
"Mh …."
"Oh, it's okay. Tomorrow he's better, now go home" he said again.
"But Mom, Ann …." Regan stared at the second floor where she saw the shadow of Anandita in the window of her room watching.
"It's okay, I'll talk to his dad. It'll make him laugh too."
Regan laughed a little though she felt awkward.
"Go home, thank you for driving her, and keeping her from unwanted things. Your work is good, and I'll tell Daryl." The woman patted him on the shoulder.
"It's okay, Mom. I'm just passing by." Regan stutters. He could have been bullied if Daryl had found out about what happened that day. Where he was without reason around Anandita school, but there was no task especially the way home did not pass through the area.
"Stay, your work is good. And that should be appreciated" Dygta said again.
"Then I say goodbye, Mom?" Regan glanced back at the second floor window.
"alright. I'd like to invite you in and wait for Ann's papa, but it doesn't seem like a good idea."
"Y-yes, Mom. Uh …."
"Hmm .. go," Dygta said again, and Regan immediately left her feeling a little relieved.
