THE TEARS OF KUMARI KANDAM

THE TEARS OF KUMARI KANDAM
CHAPTRE 1

...THIS STORY IS JUST FICTIONAL....

...IF THERE IS A SIMILARITY IN THE NAME OF THE CHARACTER, ORGANIZATION, SCENE OR STORYLINE, IT IS PURELY COINCIDENCE AND THERE IS NO ELEMENT OF DELIBERATION....

Lemuria, better known as Kumari Kandam, is a continent located in southern India. According to the stories of the nomadic tribes, the land of Kumari Kandam is an eternal land, the land that does not shift even though repeatedly hit by powerful earthquakes. Even the Indian Ocean, which could at any time sink Kumari Kandam, was made to bend the knee.

Right in the heart of Kumari Kandam, stands a kingdom of the same name. The first and oldest kingdoms were ruled by a just king, Bheim Bhaavesh. The justice of King Braheim made the people of Kumari Kandam very secure, and until this moment no one had ever come before him to complain.

Besides being famous for the justice of his king, Kumari Kandam is also famous for having a war commander who is said to always be able to joke with death. The fifth highest position in the royal structure was always occupied by the grandson of Yusef Bahadir, the first war commander who had sworn allegiance to devote himself and his descendants to be the living shield of Kumari Kandam.

But for the first time in history, the dangerous position was occupied by a woman, Haala Anandmayee. As if not familiar with the term disability, the beautiful golden-haired woman still inherited the intelligence and physical strength of her ancestors. Not only expert in negotiating and strategizing war, Haala is also an expert in fighting, riding, and using various weapons.

“Because an event like this has never happened before, do you think it will be okay?” braheim asked his advisor, Murat Iskender.

Murat was silent for a moment. “Hamba thinks it doesn't matter as long as Yusef Bahadir's blood flows in his body.”

Bheim nodded his head in response to Murat. “When will he come?”

“When you ask for it, Your Majesty.”

Braheim throws a paper roll on the floor. “I want to see it before the day of my visit to Shaasvat*.”

Shaasvat*the name of one of the kingdoms in Kumari Kandam.

“According to your order, Your Majesty.” Murat bowed as he exited Braheim's study.

The floor is decorated with the best quality of feathers, the ceiling is studded with rare gemstones, and the magnificent throne is topped with pure gold, immediately lost its charm when the Ruler Kumari Kandam, Braheim Bhaavesh, the ruler of Kumari Kandam, he appeared behind the curtain.

A man clad in red clothes seemed to absorb all the charm without rest, as if paralyzing all five senses, and as if it could invite sassiness at any time. His form is too beautiful also seems to prove that even God can actually be unfair.

“You can be sentenced to be beheaded for not giving greetings, also for raising your head before I command.”

Spontan Haala looked down again. “Long live, and be bound always, sun Kumari Kandam.”

Bheim took his crown off. “I thought only a joke of my father, it turns out Yusef Bahadir's descendants are very stiff. Since I don't have much time, can we just start?” right away

Haala did not answer, because she did not understand what Braheim meant. Bheim stopped the servants who were busy removing their jewelry. Bheim turned to Murat, making Murat immediately run towards Haala, telling him about Vinaash.

Vinaash is a test made by Yusef Bahadir with the belief that only his descendants can pass through. Vinaash is not made with the intention of arrogance, because in fact dozens of ordinary people who have tried it always end up dying.

As the meaning implies, Vinaash is indeed a picture of destruction. Vinaash begins with King Kumari Kandam who will deliberately plunge himself into the mud of life, waiting to be rescued by the descendants of Yusef Bahadir who was confronted by a thousand chosen soldiers.

The problem is that the living mud in Kumari Kandam is different from the living mud in other places. The living mud contains a poison that can bring about a mysterious disease that is said to be the antidote can only be made by a tribe of nomads who never appear other than in bedtime stories.

“Isn't it been written off four hundred years ago?”

“Fear that should be afraid to face the descendants of Yusef Bahadir.”

Bheim smiled in response to Haala. “Entai why I even more afraid to hear it.”

DEG! DEG! DEG!

A smile that was no more than three seconds was truly capable of inviting sassness. Haala's heart, which only thumped when she heard the drums of war being pounded, was now pounding just because she was treated to a smile. The smile that makes Haala's sass increasingly become, to not pay attention even though the owner of the smile has had countless queens and concubines.

From that day on Haala kept pounding while near Braheim. Feeling that his delusion with Braheim will only forever be a delusion, Haala is determined to love Braheim in silence. Haala never expected her feelings to be together, because she knew enough of her subordinate status, and was sure that no man would ever turn away from a woman as perfect as Queen Kumari Kandam.

Haala's preoccupation with loving Braheim in silence continued for twelve years. Although in her busy life Haala felt more pain than happiness, Haala remained faithful. Witnessing the romance of Braheim and the queen is not worth the pain of watching Braheim return to a political marriage with his new concubines, even watching Braheim spend the night with them.

“Your Majesty the Queen wants to see you.”

Spontaneous Haala stopped her archery practice, and turned to a servant. “Your Majesty the Queen? What's the problem?”

“Your Majesty the Queen herself will say it directly.”

“Good.” Haala followed the maid to the queen's palace.

“Why are you quiet? Quickly say yes so that my mood can improve a little.”

“The task of the servant is simply to raise the sword, Your Majesty,” reply Haala to the Queen Kumari Kandam, Jihan Joozher.

PRANGS!

A silver glass containing Goan Feni* was again smashed into the wall, making everyone in the room decorated with green gemstones jump, except Haala who remained sitting quietly in place. Jihan's anger began when Haala immediately refused her request without thinking.

*G*oan Feni** is an alcoholic beverage produced only in Goa, India. Goan Feni is made from coconut sap or cashew apples and the alcohol content in each bottle reaches 43-45%.

Just because Haala is Kumari Kandam's best scout, Jihan asks Haala to spy on whatever Braheim does with her concubine. Jihan wanted to know if Bheim was right to spend the night with those women she considered lowly or just wanted to make her burn the flames of jealousy.

Jihan said she sent scouts a lot, but they all ended up in dungeons. Jihan then thought if the scouts were descendants of Yusef Bahadir, there would be no big problem even though it would eventually be caught off guard as well.

Haala. “If there is nothing more that Her Majesty the Queen wants to convey, I beg you to resign.”

“I heard you had a sister who was purposely hidden for being crazy.”

Haala stopped her steps. “She went crazy after being stuttered by an unknown person. I wonder if the news is spread, will it affect the image of the revered Yusef Bahadir lineage of all time?” jihan.

Haala turned around and sat back in her chair, making Jihan smile with satisfaction. “I give you the opportunity to see firsthand the might of His Majesty the King, there should be no need to be hypocritical and just obey. Hid. Commoners are troublesome indeed.” Jihan continued.
