THE TEARS OF KUMARI KANDAM

THE TEARS OF KUMARI KANDAM
THE CHAPTER 96

CLAMPS

The mysterious figure's steps came to a halt, having successfully entered Vinder's bedroom without a hitch. The head covering that disturbed his view was revealed in half, although still not enough to reveal his identity. Slowly, the figure stepped towards Vinder's bed. The baby boy with golden eyes and hair was still awake despite having been crying non-stop for over three hours.

"Threat," murmured the figure.

The dagger in his grasp was ready to taste fresh blood again, but the figure was even pecking, as it was suddenly washed away by astonishment. The more frail gaze of an ant seemed to hypnotize him to get closer, making the faint rays of the sun that broke through the window accidentally strip him of his identity. A young man. White-haired. Black swede.

The man blinked his eyes repeatedly, trying to regain his consciousness. "A very dangerous threat."

Immediately the man swung his dagger, worried in case it would again lose consciousness. However, Vinder's smile sent the man's dagger plunging into the wrong place. A smile that is not less than a second is more dangerous than Gaana's spells. Again. The man again opened his eyes, but quickly pulled out the dagger stuck in the pillow, and plunged it there, into Vinder's heart.

"Go back to fuck you murderer!"

CLANG

The man's dagger fell to the floor, after a mysterious arrow shot through right at the pulse point of his wrist. The screams of pain mixed with the fear of being visited by the angel of the lifemaker boomed adding to the chaos in the Kumari Kingdom of Kandam.

The man started to panic, and the one struggling inside his head right now was just a way to escape. But the sound of footsteps running near Vinder's bedroom made the man forced to choose a window as his way out, despite knowing the direction of the mysterious arrow coming from there.

In a hurry the man climbed up to the window, preparing to plunge from Vinder's room on the eighth floor. But unfinished the man gathered guts, a second arrow from the same direction shot back through his cranium. And the man plunged to the bottom, without the need for a piece of guts.

"Thank you, Aswin."

"It is the duty of the servant, Commander," Aswin replied as he looked at Haala who was now running down the top of the main gate of Kumari Kandam.

Is correct. The archer who had just ended that man's life so horribly was Haala. Since it was discovered that there was an enemy within the Kumari Kingdom of Kandam, Haala had orders from Braheim to guard the main gate. Who knew the enemy was coming with reinforcements, right?

It was at that moment that Murat, Aswin, and the soldiers who had just returned from the Mook Forest told Haala that there was a high possibility that the enemy was already near Vinder. Haala immediately ran to the point that she could still reach the new palace, having previously caught the poisonous arrow from Aswin.

*FLASHBACK ON*

Murat shook his head watching Haala who was focusing on aiming. "Taking aim at a target from that distance? Impossible."

"It turns out not impossible, " murmured Murat who had just entered Vinder's bedroom.

Murat arrives in Vinder's bedroom along with Haala's second arrow that darted to end the man's life in black. While continuing to deny the impossibility that was in fact not impossible, Murat ran towards Vinder's bed. Luckily Vinder was not surprised, instead, enthusiastically saw the contents of his pillow flying like a dandelion.

"Vinders."

Murat turned to Braheim who had just arrived, whom everyone was following. "Tell me if he gets hurt. By Lord Krpaya* I will not take a single step from my place" added Braheim.

Krpaya* is the God whom the Kumari Kandam people worship.

"He's fine, Your Majesty."

Spontaneous Braheim running, everyone is following. "Thank God." Bheim heaved a sigh of relief. "Then where's the culprit, Murat?"

Murat glanced at the window. The braheim who understood came straight to the window, and again, everyone else.

"Who is he, Murat?" ask Brahim again.

"It would be better if only a few people knew about it, Your Majesty."

Bheim did not answer, his premonition was bad. Although only a rough guess. But the dagger that fell under Vinder's bed and the all-black clothes that the perpetrator wore, if not Sayee must have been one of his tribe. One thing is certain, the culprit is a tribe of nomads. Butwhy? What underlies a sacred tribe like them doing such heinous deeds?

"As per your orders, Your Majesty." The Head of the New Palace, Murat, here everyone answered compactly while bowing.

"Ah, one more thing." Bheim stopped his steps without turning back. "If I hear a little rumor about today ...."

GLUE

"In the celebration of the festival later this year, I will replace the lanterns with the heads of all of you" Braheim continued.

GLUE

Haala looked at Vinder who was also looking at her, feeling her warm index finger in that small grasp. Ever since waking up in an enigmatic cry, ever since a mysterious man was about to injure her with a dagger, Vinder is still awake. I don't know what Vinder was thinking, it wasn't just Haala who was curious. Babies the age of Vinder generally fall asleep all day, or cry. But Vinder was, on the contrary, awake. Awaking too calm.

"He's already shown a sense of responsibility."

Haala turned to Braheim who had been standing next to her since when, and bowed in greeting. "Long live, and blessed always, is the sun of Kumari Kandam."

"Wake up."

"Thank you, Your Majesty."

"Do you agree with me?"

"Hamba doesn't understand, Your Majesty," Haala said.

Bheim touched Vinder's cheek with his index finger. "He stole everyone's break, but he was responsible for staying awake all day."

"Hamba don't think so, Your Majesty. He likes to be awake."

"I'll bet he'll stay awake until everyone stops working."

Haala only smiled in response to Braheim, even Vinder who now turned his eyes to Braheim and joined in smiling.

"Vinder never smiles at a servant. Maybe he knows if I don't love his father."

Bheim looked at Haala. "Then do you think he smiled at me because I love his father?"

Haala smiled back. "Hamba doesn't know how I feel about Daxraj. Sometimes I feel pounding, sometimes I feel homesick. Whether it's love or fear, it's definitely the feeling of a servant to her that's different from the feeling of a servant to you."

Bheim.

"However, regardless of what the servant feels about him, Vinder is the son of the servant, and the servant loves him," Haala added.

Braheim suddenly took Haala to the bed. "You're tired. Rest."

"No, Your Grace. Today's events won't put you to sleep. I have to look after Vinder."

Braheim sat Haala in bed. "Not to worry. Today's events will not happen again. I've put one of my shadow bodyguards to guard Vinder."

"Ah, yes, that, thank you, Your Majesty."

Bheim did not reply, only to force Haala back, this time forcing her to lie down on the bed. But Haala instead stood up nimbly, making Braheim shake in surrender.

"Aren't you going to interrogate Sayee? Please allow servant ikiut as well," Haala added.

"It's just a ban on you." Bheim extended his hand to Haala.

Haala grabbed the helping hand, and left her bedroom after saying goodbye to Vinder. But not long since Haala and Braheim disappeared from behind the luxurious bedroom door, all the lighting in the bedroom was suddenly extinguished. And slowly, there was another black figure approaching Vinder's new bed.

"Greet you, protector of the eight continents, O universal strongest shield, conqueror of the war of destruction. Please forgive this weak servant's sincerity for not being able to refuse the orders of the servant Master. Truly, the earth and the sky know that no one can touch you."
