THE TEARS OF KUMARI KANDAM

THE TEARS OF KUMARI KANDAM
CHAPTRE 37

After Queen Kumari Kandam's frightened fire provoked by the wind Mausam* was successfully tamed by Daxraj Natesh's artificial rain from the future, the memory of all witnesses present at the scene was instantly erased. All they remember when the memory-removing mantra worked was, it rained down because of the mercy of the Almighty.

*Mausam* is a weather and season controller*.

Bheim who was unhinged by the memory-removing spell was immediately confused to see the situation around him. People no longer thanked Daxraj. They seem to forget that the man who emerged from the white blaze as high as a mountain is a person who a few seconds ago forced down rain in the dry season.

Until Braheim realized the truth of Haala's speech, about the wandering tribe leader who has the ability to erase someone's memory. Bheim approached Daxraj who seemed untouched by the heavy rain, intending to ask some questions he believed Daxraj could only answer.

"At least make me a cup of tea."

"You drink too?" ask Braheim to Daxraj.

"I'm human."

Bheim chuckled, "You think there are humans who will be fine after emerging from the mountain-high flames?"

"There was. I'm."

Bheim again said, "Forget it. Follow me. I have something to ask you."

Bheim stopped his steps because he did not hear the answer from Daxraj. Bheim then looked back, but the man with obnoxious intentions had gone out of nowhere. Bheim kept clucking, and was forced to keep his brain-draining question even longer. But when Braheim returned to the Kumari Kingdom of Kandam.

"It's weird to see you drink like a human being."

Daxraj put down his teacup. "I told you I'm human."

Bheim. "It's not usually you can stay longer than two minutes."

"Because Gaana* is weak."

*Gaana* the saint-soul-eating creatures living in Mook* Forest*.

Bheim sat across from Daxraj. "So you can only appear if the damned creature is weak?"

"Yes," replied Daxraj.

"In the end the souls of the innocent babies were killed in vain."

Daxraj sipped his tea again. "As long as they are female and holy-spirited, they can make Gaana strong. It's the fire that's making it weaker."

"I lost a lot of my people to that fire but why was it relieved? Hah, it seems like I have become a despotic king," Braheim muttered as he sighed.

"If I were you, I would be relieved. After all, those who go home today have been the target of the angel of death since a few days ago."

Bheim looked at Daxraj. "Your words are to appease me or vice versa? Forgetit. Quickly answer my question. You must have known, didn't you?"

"I'm not a cenanyang."

Bheim took a breath again. "Where you've been all this time here's why. What do you mean by turning the clock around to trick the damned creature? Then explain in more detail about mixed blood."

Daxraj was silent, either silent at the thought of the answers to Braheim's enthusiastic questions or silent because his teacup was empty. There was nothing Braheim could do but expand his patience. But Daxraj was still faithfully silent, even though the minutes had changed hours, and even though his teacup was now fully filled again.

The faithful eyeballs stared at the base of the tea cup, the inaudible rate of breath, the, as well as the sitting position that has not changed since an hour ago makes Bheim want to be sure whether there is a heart that beats behind the giant body. But just as Braheim was about to launch his ridiculous action, Daxraj finally opened his mouth.

The first question, all this time Daxraj is in the future. For it is only in the future and in times when Gaana is weakened as it is now that Gaana cannot feel her presence. The second question, Daxraj's goal is to turn the clock around because in the future he has made a fatal mistake that resulted in the collapse of Kumari Kandam.

"... I made a mistake. Kumari the candlestick collapsed, and I couldn't do anything about it because all of a sudden my power was gone, long before the war of destruction broke out."

Brahim looked surprised. "So the war of destruction came faster. Then what kind of mistake do you mean?"

"A very fatal mistake. Though the war of destruction could have been avoided if at that time I fulfilled Gaana's request."

"Did that cursed makhkuk ask you to kill me?" ask Brahim again.

"Yes." Yeah."

Bheim. "Then why don't you do it? If you kill me, you can fulfill the prophecy. Your son will be born to win the war of destruction so that Kumari Kandam will not collapse. What exactly were you thinking at that time?"

Daxraj sipped his tea again. "I didn't kill for no reason, Braheim."

"But look at the consequences because you didn't choose to kill me! You lost your power! You brought down Kumari Kandam!" exclamation Braheim.

"I turned back time from that. Because in the future Gaana is not dead yet, she is ascetic to turn the clock. I tricked Gaana as if she was the one who turned the clock. I followed the path that Gaana wanted by swapping a thousand years of my age for every one turn of time."

The wrathful veils on Braheim's face began to loosen after hearing the explanation from Daxraj. Now it is answered already where Daxraj's hideout and the reason turned the clock. There remains one last question, which seems unlikely to be answered because the future portal is set during the day that has been open.

Daxraj got up, walked into the portal. "Mixed blood is not eternal, and cannot accept the power of a wandering tribe leader."

"I knew. But why?"

"Because half of mixed blood is ordinary human," replied Daxraj.

"Then, don't I at least have half the strength of a wandering tribe leader as well?"

Daxraj turned to Braheim. "No. Because the power of your ancestors from the wandering tribe was revoked after marrying a commoner."

"That's what it looks like."

"I still have eight seconds" said Daxraj.

Daxraj smiled before disappearing from behind the portal. "Then don't ever let go. Because I won't let it go for you either. Till death."

Murat Iskender was released after two days of house arrest. The evidence in the form of a lighters belonging to Murat were stolen and accidentally dropped by Jihan's accomplice at one of the locations of the fire, murat could no longer evade the accusations of a single suspect despite repeatedly swearing in the name of God.

Bheim closed the case of the fire despite many protests from various parties, except Murat who instead looked calm. Everyone is sure that Braheim has bagged the name of the real culprit, but chose to silence for some reason. And the case passed along with a long dry wind.

Not without reason Braheim silenced even though he knew Mausam participated in the most devastating fire in history. Bheim believes Mausam is only an accomplice, because the real culprit is certainly Queen Kumari Kandam. Murat also had the same belief as Braheim, therefore from the beginning Murat was reluctant to join the protest.

Rumors of the heartless Braheim begin to spread as Braheim gives no orders to arrest the real suspect who has blackened almost half the land of Kumari Kandam. Braheim preferred to remain silent, and focused on his new plan to eliminate Kumari Kandam's main enemy, Gaana.

For Bheim felt uneasy even though Daxraj was still alive. Recalling Daxraj's remark the other day saying that if his power could be lost without cause, Braheim hesitated to rely on him to kill Gaana. The only way that Braheim can do this right now is to make Gaana weak by starving her.

"It looks like the new law is quite successful."

"Yes, Your Majesty. Since you inaugurated it, the birth rate has steadily declined" Murat replied to Braheim.

"That's great. That damned creature must have had more and more trouble finding its food. What about the houses of people affected by the fires?"

Murat placed a scroll in front of Braheim. "Everything is going well, Your Honor. But it takes additional funds because there are some materials that are lacking. The servant has already noted his shortcomings there."

Bheim nodded while reading the contents of the scroll. "alright. Give this to the finance minister."

"As per your orders, Your Majesty."

"You can go" said Braheim.

"Your Majesty, there's something I want you to ask."

Bheim only looked at Murat. "Why do you suddenly want to have a concubine?" ask Murat.

"To keep watch that the misfortune that befell Princess Gaurika Chander of Narak does not fall upon the other daughters."

Murat was silent for a moment. "So in other words, you want to close all the gaps so that Gaana can not target the position closest to you, so?"

"Yes. I can't die yet."

Murat was silent again. "So that's also the reason you pardoned Her Majesty the Queen?"

"He not only nearly eliminated Kumari Kandam but also allied himself with the devil. He doesn't deserve to be forgiven, Murat."

"Then why don't you punish Her Majesty the Queen?"

"Because my punishment is in no way appropriate for all the abominations he committed. He started all these disasters, so he also has to end them" replied Braheim.

DUARS.. DUARS. DUARS..

The beautiful flakes of fireworks add to the splendor of the night sky of Kumari Kandam. The queue of pure gold-studded horse carriages looked unbroken entering the main gate of the phoenix-carved kingdom. A burst of admiration on everyone's face was as if it was inexhaustible because it continued to be treated to the beautiful looks of the prospective concubines of King Kumari Kandam.

One week ago the Kumari Kingdom of Kandam announced the selection of concubines, and tonight is the night of the reception of the candidates for concubines. New elections will be held tomorrow until an indefinite time, because it turns out that women who want to become concubines of King Kumari Kandam reach thousands.

Since the day of the election of concubine Braheim, Haala has continued to look moody. On the one hand Haala felt that Braheim had made the right decision considering that the other day Gaana was desperate to target the position of concubine to approach Braheim and get revenge. But on the other hand, a space in Haala's heart felt like it was being torn apart.

"Greetings."

Spontaneous Haala up. "Greetings."

"I'm not lost. I was walking around."

Haala smiled in response to future concubine Braheim. "That's what it looks like."

"You must also have trouble sleeping in a new place, right? Me either. Rather than that, where are you from?"

"I am from Kumari Kandam. I work here" Haala replied.

"Ah, you're not my rival apparently. Ii'm sorry. So you are?"

Haala smiled. "Haala Anandmayee, war commander Kumari Kandam."

"War commander? Gee. That's grand. You look small and weak. It's unbelievable. Ah, introduce my name Chitrali."

Haala smiled back. "Kumari Kandam is very beautiful and quiet. Even so I still regret having come here from a very far place," Chitrali added.

"Is there a problem?"

Chitrali. "His Majesty the King turned out to be very strange. I got my first turn to greet Him today, and you know, He suddenly told me his weakness."

"A weakness?"

Chitrali nodded back. "I'm not a swordsman, always lost in a duel, and will forever be protected. But even so, will you accept me? So said His Majesty the King. I don't get it. The other concubines did not understand. What exactly does he mean?"
