The Light that Shines the New Path

My body was tossed about in endless darkness, I

I could feel myself drowning deeper.

I don't know why I thought about the times when I was still

being in an orphanage. A gentle gust of wind dashed onto my face, a laughing voice

from the children of the residents of the orphanage from a distance and also the smile of Ani

every time he saw me.

stay.” I was pleased with Ani's reply, slowly I approached

But my steps suddenly stopped. Ani's sister held me back for

“Seva, there's still a lot you have to do.” I stared

ani's smiling face then she continued to say. “Now, the time

for you back,” said Ani full of confidence.

“But brother Ani,” said I hesitate.

Suddenly something grabbed me, I quickly grabbed my hand

my hand, he looked at me with a sincere smile on his face.

I don't know why I immediately let go of Ani's arm together

with a smile on my face. “Goodbye, Brother Ani.”

Everything went back dark, I vaguely heard the sound of crying

someone, that voice also called out my name repeatedly.

“Seva... Wake up,” say the voice.

I opened my eyes, the light slowly shining

filled my view. My body felt heavy as I reached for consciousness. My breath

panting, and I felt a sensation of pain that filled every fiber

my body.

When I looked to the side, Arin sat next to me

a surprised look on his face as well as tears flowing from his cheeks, he

hugged me very tightly.

“Seva... Thank goodness, I thought you were dead.” Arin said

hugging me and not stopping crying.

I feel dizzy and confused. I'm trying to understand

the situation around me, finding out where I was then I remembered the dagger

who stuck it in my chest.

With trembling legs I tried to get up, but my hands

like feeling something. It was Paul's dagger, I took it

and stand firm.

Under the rising sun that was emitting golden rays, I

stand in front of Jack. With Paul's dagger in my hand, I

prepare for this decisive battle

Jack, with his sparkling sword, smiled sinisterly as if

feeling confident in the victory that will be achieved. I'm not letting

his confidence intimidated me.

The fight started as we observed and searched each other

gaps in each other's defenses. I launched my first attack with

full speed and power, trying to create an unexpected pressure

to Jack.

Jack's sword glided agilely, dispelling my attack. I

moving quickly, using a dagger to block his attacks.

Each movement exudes the power and precision possessed by both

our weapons.

Every attack and every stalk we make creates

a sharp voice that broke the silence of the morning.

The burning flames in this fight exuded strength

it filled the air around us.

Sweat ran down my face and my breath was breathless,

but I didn't let fatigue stop me. I keep on launching

attack with unshakable speed and precision.

Time moves around very quickly during a fight

lasted. We attack each other and defend with strength and speed

full, looking for a loophole to end this fight.

Finally, with quick and tactical movement, I succeeded

the defense of Jack. The dagger in my hand stuck to the side of his arm, the,

force his sword to fall to the ground.

The surprised Jack looked off guard, seeing this opportunity

I immediately lunged and slashed Jack's body using my dagger.

As soon as Jack fell to the ground, my attack caused

fatal wound to Jack's body causing severe bleeding. Jack which

looking in pain still had time to laugh, he then said. “You.

win.”

I looked at Jack lying on the ground, feeling the satisfaction

and victory in my heart. With my dagger held high, I

echoing this victory by shouting loudly.

Arin immediately ran towards me, when the adrenaline started

disappeared I feel so weak. Arin quickly supported my body

not fall.

“You okay?” Ask Arin, I just answered with

small nod.

From afar we saw Gerald waving his hand, at

beside her stood Lisa with a smile on her face she also waved

hand.

“How about that bandit boss?” Arin said while looking

Jack is sprawled.

“Let Gerald take care of it later,”

smilingly.

We both walked towards where Gerald and Lisa were standing.

It's all over, I thought. The fight between me

and Jack who goes on in the rising sun will always be

an important part of my life journey.

In this victory, I confirm my determination to continue

protect the people I love and fight for them. I looked

to the sky saw the shining sunlight.

A new spirit stirred in my heart, my journey still

it was very long and I was ready to face every challenge that was before me.
