The Wanderer's

The Wanderer's
Party Invitation

Selbest, that name keeps spinning in my mind. Who is he

in fact?

Arin who was sleeping next to me woke up and said. “Seva, <TAG1>,

you're awake?”

I looked at Arin who was stretching her body. “You

should not sleep like that, not good for your body,”

Arins.

Arin only replied with a small laugh, I moved

get up from the bed to the table on the side of the room wall. Over there

there is a wet cloth and also a container that contains warm water. I rubbed

my face uses that cloth.

“Seva, you know. Last night I met a strange man,” said Arin.

“I told you, be careful.”

“Not so. I mean, strange, that guy was talking about fate

and meeting.”

“What is meant by fate and meeting? Then

did you ask about his identity?” my many.

"I don't know for sure either. He looks so mysterious,

name's Selly. However, he left just like that before I could ask more

continue." Answer Arin.

"But his words about destiny and meeting

made me think. Is this coincidence of our meeting actually already

destined from the beginning?" added Arin, his eyes sparkling.

I sighed, “Our meeting was just a coincidence

just,” I said to Arin.

Arin looked sullen at my answer. However, if in

thinking about it ever since I met Arin, I don't know why I feel a bond

the strong with him and also the new strength I gained while saving him.

Is this really just a coincidence? Or is this destiny?

Instead of thinking about it too much, I went outside.

“Where are you going?” ask Arin.

“I want to take a walk for a while, my body feels stiff if

should rest continue.” Before I reach for the doorknob. Suddenly, the door

the wood was wide open, behind which Gerald was already standing firmly.

“Seva, how are you?” ask Gerald in a soft voice

when entering the room.

I also back off not to leave the room. “It's better

now.”

Gerald smiled with relief at my reply. “Good, there is

something I want to tell you.” Before continuing Gerald saw Arin

who was sitting next to the bed. “It so happens, Arin is also here.”

“What do you want to tell?” manya curious.

“The leader of the city of Warenburg is Mr. Thomas, inviting you

to be present as a guest of honor at the party he held. She wanted

giving credit for your role in helping to eradicate the bandits,"

gerald said happily.

I was surprised to hear that. I never thought of my actions

will be recognized and appreciated by the leaders of this city. I feel happy but on the other hand

my side also felt bad, because all of that was just a coincidence.

“What's Seva? You look doubtful.” Looks like Gerald saw

my facial expressions. I also tried to smile back. “No, thank you for

his invitation. But I feel bad about it,” I said.

“Let's just relax, I've told you everything

Thomas. Nothing you need to worry about.” I know Gerald said like

that was to convince me. However, I still feel bad about it.

Arin came to us both and said. “Accept

of course, anyway it would be more disrespectful if we reject it.”

Hearing Arin's reply, I couldn't argue either. “Alright,

we will come to the party.”

Gerald seemed happy to hear my answer, both hands

then patted my shoulder. “Good. Oh yeah, I almost forgot.” Gerald looks ragged

bag his pants, pull out a piece of paper.

“This is my home address. Later in the afternoon, you guys come.”

Gerald gave me that piece of paper, and there was a full address, written,

with a smile sign?

Before I could answer, Arin suddenly shrank. “We will

come.”

“All right, see you later.” Gerald went with

a big smile on his face.

Arin who looks happy humming cheerfully, I

the one who saw him took a deep breath.

“Hei Arin, you can't be like that.”

“Hmm? Whatchu mean? Didn't they invite us with

well, it's only natural that we accept the invitation.”

“You're right, but-“ I feel my words will definitely go straight

I immediately went to the door before Arin suddenly

shouting called. “Seva, wait!”

“What else is it?”

"I have to tell you something, Seva" Arin said

slowly, try to calm down before speaking further. "We

no money."

I heard Arin say that. Suddenly, my breathing

stopped for a moment and my eyes were shocked. "No money?"

I tried to make sure I didn't hear wrong.

Arin nodded anxiously. Panic struck my mind.

How could we be at a party without money? I imagined the face

glad Mr. Thomas turned out to be disappointed when we had to decline his invitation

because of this financial problem.

"What are we gonna do now?" much

worry, try to ponder the solution.

Arin scratched his head, trying to think of something.

"We can try to find a temporary job to earn money,

or... There may be another way?"

I was silent for a moment, and then my eyes shone when I had an idea

it comes to my mind. "Wait a minute, I have an idea! This city has

adventurer guild isn't it?"

Arin looked at me with a confused expression. “It seems,

indeed why?”

“Good, we can register as adventurers then

working on the mission emblazoned there,” I said with enthusiasm.

Arin looked hesitant. “Wait, you want me to sign up too

as an adventurer?” Arin shook his head and continued to say. “I

can't even fight.”

“But, that's our only option as newcomers

in this city.” I patted him on the shoulder with confidence, "No need

worry, we can do it together.”

“Where does your confidence come from.” Arin sighed

his breath looks at me.

“If you don't want to, it's okay. You are also the one

said you wanted to come with me.” I turned my body, slowly walking to

door direction.

Arin sounded grumbling a little then. “Wait! I'm coming.”

I laughed when I heard it, and we both went

city centre. After a short walk downtown, our steps

stopped in front of a building that is not too big but visible

manicured. Above the entrance there is the writing of the Adventurers Union.

“It looks like this is the place,” said Arin.

We both entered the building. When entering

the main room, the low boisterous atmosphere of the voices of the adventurers who were being

discuss, share a story, or plan your next mission

welcome our arrival.

The walls are decorated with maps, rare artifacts, and

adventure equipment that invites curiosity. This place became home

for a wide variety of adventurers from a variety of backgrounds and skills,

creating a diverse and interesting atmosphere.

We both approached the reception desk

at the end of the room, there was a large mission board next to the reception desk, filled

with various missions waiting to be taken by adventurers.

The choice of such missions varies, starting from overcoming

terrible monsters, looking for treasure, to help the city with

their problems. Each mission has its own level of difficulty and reward

in contrast, inviting adventurers to challenge themselves and

get an award for their achievements.

Our steps came to a halt in front of the reception desk, we

she was greeted by a brunette woman who seemed to be

he is a secretary in this union. A warm smile was on his face, with

the woman's friendly tone said. “There can I help?”

I looked at Arin for a moment before confidently

answer, “We want to register as an adventurer.”

The woman nodded in understanding, then looked at us with

feisty. “Alright, you guys came at the right time. We're being

need more adventurers to handle missions in this city.”

“Unfortunately this city lacks adventurers?” Much

curious.

The woman reached into something under the table and took it out

a piece of paper. “Iya right, the city is lacking reliable adventurers.”

I nodded in understanding, the woman gave me a sheet

the paper to me then said. “Please fill this form first.”
