The Wanderer's

The Wanderer's
Bad Omen

My name is Arin, I grew up in an Orphanage. Venue

it was comfortable and the sisters there were also fine.

But one day, a group of armed men attacked

our orphanage, they kidnapped the children in the orphanage and killed

the sister is also a priest there.

I managed to escape with my best friend

named Mona. But by the time we thought it was safe, a man with

silver hair ambushed us. I still remember exactly the sneaky laugh that came out

from the silver-haired man.

Mona tries to fight him to buy time but in vain,

he was killed in front of me. Leaving a deep wound on me, words

the last thing I remember of him is ‘Come, save yourself Arin.’

I ran as hard as I could without direction, with tears

the ones that kept flowing and also the wounds on my body, I was finally able to leave

from their pursuit.

Even so I kept running and running. When the day began

dark, I hid in the cave I found. Until one day I

walking towards the river for a drink, I suddenly fell into the river and

carried away, that's when I met you, Seva.

...

Hearing the story from Arin, made me sit still. Arin

suffering the same fate as me, he was also a victim of cruelty

unimaginable. I felt a deep sense of pain and loss

emanated from himself.

Arin lowered her head, and I felt some sadness

so big in his heart. I stretched out my hand and rubbed

her head was soft, her blond hair soft on my hands. “Arin, you

not alone. I also experienced the same thing with you.” Arin raised

his head and eyes with me. “Really?” Answer Arin.

“Yes, the same thing happened to me a year ago.

Unlike you I was saved by someone.” I was silent for a moment ago

proceeding. “Running alone and hiding for a few days in the forest

this thick one, you're great Arin.” I looked at him smiling.

After looking into the eyes for a moment, Arin nodded his head

slowly. There was relief emanating from his face.

“Seva, what should I do from now on?”  asked Arin in a weak voice, I pondered

for a moment and then said. “That's it, you yourself have to decide.”

Arin fell silent again, he looked like he was thinking

something's.

After a while sitting by the river, Arin turned his head

towards me with a face full of curiosity. "Seva, after this you want

go where?"

I looked back at Arin. “I'll go to the center of the trading city

Warenburg.” I answered while looking up.

“hmmm..

yes?” Ask Arin.

“Yes right, Paul. I mean my teacher told me once, if I

want to travel, the city is a suitable place to start.” Evidently

to Arin. “How about you?”

Arin looks to think for a moment, his face looks doubtful then

he looked back at me. “What if I come with you all the way to Warenburg?” Arin

asked with his enthusiastic face.

I was a little surprised to hear Arin's request to come along

with me to Warenburg. I did not answer but thought for a moment,

consider the circumstances and risks of travel.

“Hey, Seva!” Arin patted my shoulder waking me from

my daydream. “How?” Arin asked with sparkling eyes looking at me.

“We just met, why did you suddenly want to

coming with me?” I asked Arin.

Arin then laughed amusedly and smiled. “Nea why moment

first look at you I feel familiar to you and also you have saved me.

I'm sure you must be a good person.”

I took a deep breath and said. “Good.” Hears

my approval Arin jumped up in excitement.

I saw it was getting dark, I advised Arin to come

tent mine. After I let Arin eat the fish I burned earlier

then I suggest he sleep in my tent, while I stand guard outside.

At first Arin disagreed but after a few times

I persuaded him he finally wanted to too and immediately went into the tent to sleep.

When Arin was asleep in the tent, I sat outside

looking at the increasingly dim bonfire. Why I feel relieved, though,

during this journey I was always alone, having thought of tomorrow I would

starting a journey with someone my heart feels good.

Drowsiness began to approach, my eyes felt heavy. Decided

to sit leaning against a tree near my tent, I closed my eyes to

rest for a while, slowly drowsiness began to envelop until I finally

sound asleep.

...

The dark...

This place again...

Endless darkness surrounded me as well as a glimmer

a dim light was seen in front of me. Brother Ani and the residents of the orphanage stood up

there with their flat faces.

This dream always comes at unexpected times, until I

I'm used to seeing it. But this dream is different.

One by one the inhabitants of the parlour burned down in a huge fire,

the sound of their cries cut my heart.

They all burned until leaving only Ani Sis

still standing still, among the bodies of the residents of the orphanage that had been charred burned.

“Kak Ani?” I tried to call him with a voice.

Seen Ani Brother opened his mouth, but instantly my feet

feeling weak made me fall down, my eyes opened wide and my heart

it beats very fast. Fresh blood flowed out from every hole

on the face of Ani.

“Se..va...” Brother Ani called me with a hoarse voice.

Kak Ani's body immediately fell in the middle of a puddle of liquid

colored red, suddenly Ani Kak moves to make a sound like a fault

bone, with a broken movement he crawled towards me.

“Ti-No! Away!” My cry panicked, My heart beating

very fast, sweat flowing fiercely from my temple. Ani's sister is getting closer,

my body feels stiff I can't deliver.

Until finally Ani stopped right in front of me, her face

the one filled with red liquid made my hair stand up. Colored tears

red kept flowing from Kak Ani's eyes, his right hand slowly moved then

touching my right cheek.

I saw Brother Ani slowly opening his mouth, with a deep voice

hoarse he said. “Ba-Ba..ngun, Seva..

The look in his eyes felt like he was drowning in the ocean

this darkness, until it was all dark.

...

I woke up from that nightmare, my body

it was full of sweat and my heart was pounding.

I tried to calm myself, but something was strange. When I

completely awake, I felt both my hands tightly bound behind me

and also my mouth was stuffed with cloth. I see my surroundings, this place is dark

I can't see anything. I tried to scream but in vain, my voice was fixed

with a cloth that covered my mouth.

‘How can I be in this situation? What the hell's going on? Who

who did it?’ The more questions that popped into my mind, the more

the tension and uncertainty felt stronger in my heart.

I also remember Arin, where is he? Is she all right

just any? Shit, I should be able to break free from this place anyway.

After a while, there were sounds of footsteps approaching

towards my place on the roof. My heart is beating faster, and my anxiety is growing

getting more in control of my mind. Who's coming? Are they friends or

the enemy? How can I break away from this bond?
