Chapter 1 - Revenge

I walked back to the palace of the demon king who looked quiet that was usually a crowded place and smelled iron coming from the blood dripping on the edge of the entrance stairs, which was the place where I was standing, I entered with the sound of water dragging my shoes to leave a red stain on my servant's shoes until it smeared a red stain on the ground.

The interior of the palace was destroyed with ashes and charred walls and red on the floor.

I went inside the palace to go see the demon lord, when I arrived in front of the throne room with the broken door I entered with sweat dripping down my cheek.

I saw the demon king's body but his head was gone, with a state of almost formless body and blood all around him.

I approached him and sat down, I saw his red blood under me I just realized when my hair was white.

I raised the body and wanted to bury it with a wither, but when I lifted it there was a dark red light burning on the part of the wound that was on his chest.

I took the source of the light and it was the heart of the demon lord, it gave a desire to eat it, I was carried away by my passion because my mind was in a mess and could not distinguish between right and wrong in my opinion it was all the same.

As I ate that heart my body was hot as if it was being burned from the inside, and I had a little memory of the demon lord about his daughter hidden inside the palace.

I went straight to the princess's hiding place because for the demon lord her son was very important to her, at least I could keep him in my revenge against the demon lord.

When I came to the hallway to the princess room in the basement, I saw a lot of blood and monsters lying down.

Slowly I walked with sweat dripping from fear of what was on my mind, when I entered it turned out to be true as I thought that the princess was no longer there.

I got angry about hitting the wall until my hands bled, I went to the king's place and brought his body and buried it in the back of the palace.

I have the determination to be strong, I went to the palace library which is located separate from the palace, the library is next to the palace.

With the slightly ruined state clearly visible and I entered but the inside state was still good despite the mess, I picked up a book that had the contents of world history.

I read those books to learn about this world even further because I was told only by my father and mother about this world.

This world turned out to have three existences namely humans, monsters, and holy animals. Holy animals are animals that humans consider sacred, because they help humans to face monsters, and their forms are not creepy like monsters.

Monsters have many races and the demon race is the strongest of all, humans have four kingdoms namely, Georda, Merlion, Hedom, and Borean.

The location of the human and monster territories is next to humans in the west while the monsters in the east, and for the sacred animal region is unknown.

When I finished reading the first part of the book I suddenly saw the text of the analysis of the book, I was confused by it suddenly my brain was filled with information coming from the book.

After several hours I had finished memorizing all the contents of the books in the library, I learned many things starting from how to get skills, potions, various kinds of information about sacred animals and holy weapons belonging to humans, he said, and other.

And I already knew about the power of the writing that I saw this was a unique skill possessed by the demon lord that was the analysis skill, the analysis skill, this skill is useful for analyzing an object and its accuracy is still unknown but for now quite useful.

After that library I went to find a daughter named Isabella Chrono, because I'm sure if she's not dead because I didn't see her body in her room, she might run away or be held by a human.

But before leaving I will strengthen myself first because my current self is still weak, I ate all the monster hearts in the palace in order to gain their abilities.

I did that to avenge this man and save Isabella, after I ate enough heart from the corpses of monsters the strength in my body increased by leaps and bounds and it felt like my whole body was so light.

Suddenly I saw the writing again about evolution, there are two types of evolution that appear, namely Yami Oni and Greed Oni, I was a little confused by the writing but I knew that this evolution would be very important to my growth.

Yami Oni has a body type that is more proportional to humans and her magic is stronger but if Greed Oni her body will have a creepy shape and size large enough and her physical strength will be very strong and his body will be hardened with his establishment.

I chose to become Yami Oni because I wanted to infiltrate the human world with this body would be easier.

As I chose my body to be surrounded by a dense darkness and after a while the darkness was gone, my body was taller and I felt a stronger power than before.

I tried to use the analysis skill to myself, I saw that I had five skills which were lvl 1 analysis skill, Gluttony lvl 2, Dark Element lvl 1, Void Seed lvl 1, etc, Magic Buff lvl 1.

Gluttony skill that can take the ability of other living beings, Dark Element is a skill to control darkness, Void Seed has no description, Magic Buff is a skill to increase the endurance and strength of the body, the, I was a little confused by this Void Seed skill because it was unknown.

My appearance was now firm and my skin was not purple turned white and my small horns had turned bigger which was black to purple.

With enough muscles all over my body and my face became like a human being, I understood why all the monsters I saw had a sinister form because the other changes had faces similar to humans.

I am disgusted at having a face like a monkey but for my ambition I will hold it back because my ambition is more important than my face.

As I looked up at the top I saw Race my name and level, as I thought if this system was like the mmorpg games I used to be before reincarnation.

Now my level is one and my race is Yami Oni but my name is empty I also don't know why it can be empty but I made a new name because I have abandoned my old self and I will be reborn into doom to this world and bring destruction as they wish.

From today my name is Catastrophe.
