Chapter 40 - Return

After my speech a few hours later the three troops came out to the city door decorated by parades and party of departure of soldiers along the road seen the city residents who lined up to accompany every pound of foot soldiers with cheers and commendation.

I stood in the palace walls looking at their departure, after the soldiers had gone out of the wall I went back into the palace and looked for Isabella who was in my study.

I walked down the hallway to my workroom, where there were two guards watching the door.

As I was about to enter they gave me a respectful greeting and I opened the door slowly.

Inside was Isabella sitting at her desk right next to mine.

"His phone is done, right?" isabella said as she wrote the documents on her desk.

"Had the soldiers gone from the city" I still wondered if Isabella was still against my plan.

"Isabella are you still against my decision?"

"In my heart I'm still against it but I also have to think realistically and not go up because we're holding so many lives to protect so for now I can only agree"

It is good that Isabella has begun to understand even though in her heart there are still doubts but it is okay that the most important thing in the future, I must be able to succeed this plan if there will not be a lot of sacrifices that are in vain.

I sat at my desk and saw a huge pile of papers, hadeh I hated being king.
