Two Eyes One Glasses
The Awkward Relationship

Waking up in the morning with Niken right next to me and having her hand just over my chest seemed to confirm that we both had more of a relationship than friends, especially when it was reinforced by last night. I looked at his deeply asleep face with a sense of awkwardness and confusion as to where this friendship was going.

I let go of Niken's arms and slowly got out of bed to go to the bathroom, just washing my face and brushing my teeth, finished from the bathroom I tried to wake her gently.

“Ken...Ken's...Ken...wake up already morn” I said while stroking his hair,

“Let's wake up, what breakfast would you like?” my tofu, my,

“Bakmie” replied Niken slightly opening her eyes,

“Yaudah wait ya gw buyin” I said,

I immediately took my jacket and motorcycle keys then I went to the parking lot to start the bike and went to buy bakmie according to Niken's request, upon arrival at the bakmie place I felt lucky that there were not too many people waiting in line, there were only three people who were eating there when I arrived. I ordered three servings of bakmie.

After receiving the bakmie that I ordered I immediately returned to my boarding house, on the way I thought definitely Niken was still sleeping, or can be said he slept again. Arriving at the boarding house is true Niken like falling asleep again.

I tried to wake her up again.

“Ken....Ken...wake up yuk bakmie it already I buyin” said, I,

“Hmmmmm expanse gw still sleepy” replied Niken with eyes still closed,

I immediately prepared the cutlery, not forgetting I made coffee and a cup of tea for Niken, I saw Niken slowly waking up from my bed and starting to enter the bathroom.

I became completely wrong and confused by everything that happened, I also did not want to hurt a lump of blood called the heart. Moments later Niken came out of the bathroom and we both stared at each other.

“Come on breakfast!” I said,

“It is also mau” replied Niken,

“This is tea for lo” I said,

“Still, you are very attentive” said Niken,

“Iya times, I just realized aja”, said Niken,

“Most of the time you so not aware” said, I,

“Apply!” answer Niken ketus,

“Still in the morning don't pout why” said,

“Whatever I want to eat” said Niken,

“Yaudah please eat” I said,

We both started to eat the bakmie that I had prepared in a bowl, as usual it always felt like a champion, he said, although a lot of goip about this bakmie but I do not really care because it tastes good and the price fits in the pockets of students like me.

A few moments passed we both finished our bakmie each, although I finished first but still as if I was waiting for Niken and impressed like finished together.

“Bar, thank you Iw to the room first want to shower” said Niken,

“Yaudah I also want to take a shower, but want to smoke first” I said, but,

“Can you stop smoking?” said Niken,

“Can't if I have to now” said,

“Yaudah whatever, bye gw up first” said Niken, bye,

“Yes, later you are nyamper ya” said, I,

“Iya bahel” says Niken,

Niken immediately left my room and headed to his room on the second floor, I immediately went to the front of the room to light my cigarette and drink the coffee I had previously made, the taste of my coffee is bitter but my life always makes it sweet even under any circumstances.

After finishing a few cigarettes I went back to my room to shower immediately, just before I went into the bathroom I heard the sound of Siti's motorbike, I came out to greet her.

“Ti enter aja yes, it is bakmie I want to shower” I said,

“Iya Bar, I'll go to” said Siti,

I went back into my room and went to the bathroom, twenty minutes later I finished the bath and saw Siti having breakfast.

“Motor lo when is it Ti?” I said,

“Semalem same older sister temen gw” replied Siti,

“Kirain gw motor lo is still damaged, I was going to pick up again but you already nongol aja” said, I said,

“Ya luckily temen brother I know motor so in real, gausah lah Bar ngerepotin” said Siti,

“Lo is a Bar” freak said Siti,

“Virious how Ti?” I said,

“Yes want to be in repotin” said Siti,

“Help your own time fuss anyway Ti, emang lo do not want to help me if I need help?” I said,

“You Kok Bar, time yes I nolak” said Siti,

“Iya right we should help each other Ti” said I,

“Iya Bar” reply Siti,

“Tumben lo early in the morning kesinya” said,

“Lo know for yourself the road to home gw jammed rich apa” said Siti,

“Not playing Ti jammednya” said,

“Cap to the house gw?” said Siti,

“Nggak Ti, Only better start a clock that is not jammed hehe” I said with a smile, just a smile,

“Say aja kapok” says Siti,

“More towards males got stuck anyway Ti” said,

“Sama aja Bar, everywhere is also jammed if the clock is back home from work” said Siti,

“Iya Ti, in front of campus just jammed” said,

“Iya kan” says Siti,

“Lo really long meal Ti” said,

“Newly I also started eating Bar, anyways you can chat mulu” said Siti,

“Oia yes, yaudah gw forward ya Ti” said,

“Pasti want to smoke lo” said Siti,

“It was you know” I said,

“Know it, if you go ahead already definitely ngerokok” said Siti,

“How not to pay attention almost every day I came here” said Siti,

“Yes too, yaudah gw ahead first” said, I,

“Iya Bar don't do a lot ya” said Siti,

“Not the most a day a pack” I said,

“If you can in lessin Bar” said Siti,

“Dah ah Iw ahead first” said,

“Hmmmm” reply Siti,

I went to the front of my room back to smoke, while Siti slowly finished the food I had bought for her, while enjoying a cigarette I saw Niken coming down the stairs and getting closer to me.

“Tumben cepet down his” said,

“Bacod ah, no Siti yes?” said Niken,

“Galak really non, there's more eating earlier” I said,

“Bodo very, I entered ya” said Niken,

“Log in a ribet!” I said,

Niken went into my room and approached Siti, I was still in front enjoying a cigarette. Whether what they were talking about inside just sounded vague, I tried to seem to close my ears.

A little while later Niken and Siti ran away from my room.

“Depart to campus yuk Bar” says Niken,

“Come deh” I replied while switching off cigarettes,

The three of us immediately went to campus to take the final semester exam, arriving at the campus after walking for approximately five minutes from my boarding house. Our supervisory lecturer had arrived with the arrival of the three of us, me and all my friends went into the classroom to fill out the exam questions, as usual, I always finished working first in comparison with my friends.

I got out of class and went back to my boarding house, time is still in the middle of the day but it feels like I just want to spend this day just staying in the boarding house and undergoing activities and routines as a boarding child.

I took a position to fall and close my eyes that felt sore because I was often looking at the screen hp, a few moments later I fell asleep.

After several hours of sleep I woke up almost in the time before magrib, the day was dark, the blue sky turned into a beautiful shade with the sun that would soon set.

I then took a shower and opened my laptop to search for the journals I needed to gain insight. It did not feel like the day was getting dark I felt hungry but reluctant to get out of the room and buy food from outside.

I also took the initiative to cook instant noodles with two eggs that I mixed with cow corned beef, after eating as usual I came out of the room to smoke and went back inside afterwards. I guess there was nothing else I wanted to do today so I closed with a prayer while trying to close both eyes while occasionally looking at the screen hoping for a notification from someone.
