Two Men

Two Men
Radit with Gendis

Elsewhere Radit is preparing to go home too. Clean the table and leave the room immediately. Take the elevator to get to the ground floor. When both of his legs stepped out of the elevator, he found Gendis still looking at the crying universe.

Yeah, rain. The city is raining from noon. Many activities have to stop. Let this earth rest from the activity of its inhabitants.

Gendis let out a rough breath. Forgetting to carry an umbrella is the biggest regret right now. "I brought it yesterday, but it didn't rain. Now it's a turn to forget, it's raining."

Radit moved closer to Gendis. Standing next to the woman gazing at the rainfall from the large glass window. "The satisfaction is cold."

Gendis jerks. I dare to look to the side. "Sir Radit wants to go home too?"

Radit nodded slowly with a straight forward look. The rain rinai reminded him of Kania. "He doesn't like the rain." Radit unconsciously spoke for himself.

Gendis's forehead shriveled. I don't know who Radit meant. "Who is he, sir?" The mouth moved to find out.

Radit. Conscious. "Ah, no. That's myfriend. He doesn't like the rain."

Gendis's eyes found a strange gelagat from the top of the other division.

"You don't have an umbrella?" ask Radit. Glamourize around. Many of the same employees are trapped as well. There are also those who can be free because of the anticipation of carrying an umbrella.

"No, Sir. I forgot."

Silent. Only the sound of heavy rain was between the two.

The watch in Radit's hand showed five o'clock in the afternoon past ten minutes. If it does not fly another half an hour will soon come Magrib prayer time.

"Magrib in a moment. Pastj roads are jammed," Radit added. Netra rightly glanced to the side. Gendis's face was full of anxiety. That woman must be worried. "You want to go home together?" I can't leave that woman here either.

Gendis looked at him. His heart said yes, but his mouth hesitated. "Later to trouble Mr. Radit. No need, sir."

Rejection is not honest. There is a slight vibration in the intonation of the word Gendis. Of course the woman was sad.

"The rain is getting heavier. I don't know when it will stop. You wanna wait here?" ask Radit.

The man was not wrong. The sky this afternoon was not clear. Rainfall does not decrease, it increases. It will take a long time to get to the end. How many minutes or hours. Gendis cannot predict.

"We're this one building. So, I'm not too bothered" Radit continued. Not pushy, but trying to give the best offer to Gendis. Perhaps the woman felt the need for help, but was too shy. "If you are pleased."

Gendis thinks more mature. When will I get this opportunity. Being stuck for too long is not good. "If Mr Radit doesn't mind, can I come?"

"I told you no. Come on, get out. Run for a minute to the parking lot." Radit no longer spent time talking. The man moved as fast as he could to get home.

Gendis. Following in Radit's footsteps came out of the building and ran around with bags covering the head. They arrived at the parking lot. Approaching Radit's car and getting in.

"We better get going. The streets must be jammed when it's time to get home from work" Radit said by hand with his seat belt on.

Gendis nodded slowly. "Yes, Sir. Thanks for taking me home."

Radit replied with a small smile. Start driving slowly out of the parking lot. The rain also greeted the vehicle that had not been washed because the owner was too busy working.

As soon as the gate comes out. Radit's car drove on the streets that were still crowded, even though it was raining heavily. Simply make a short traffic jam near the bus stop.

Gendis stared outside from the window. The rain was calming. Drawing his mind to the past that once passed beautifully. Persuaded the long-haired woman to remember the most memorable phase of her life.

Radit focused on driving, until the red light in front stopped the vehicle. The traffic still happens. It was everyday food. Undeniable.

Radit.

"Rain is calming. Mr Radit never heard that there are some people who would rather meet rain than the sun?" ask Gendis.

The calm atmosphere of being in Radit's car felt like a difficult dream to describe.

"Are there really people like that?" Radit asked back. Not if it is sunny every human being can do his activities well. If it rains, some activities should stop. "Isn't it wrong?"

Gendis' head shook quickly. "No, Sir. There are people like that. They prefer rain because the water from the sky is like bringing peace of soul. Presents a peace that has long been burned by the heat of the sun.

Radit. There is no intention of interrupting one bit. Let Gendis chatter as she pleases.

The curvature of a small smile flung Gendis outwards. If the situation is in the village with a view of gardens full of flowers and shady trees. It was definitely the stronger the sense of peace he could feel. Unfortunately, he was in a metropolitan city that even difficult to find such a grove.

"People like that are all around us. They love the tranquility. Not too fond of gathering with a lot of people," said Gendis.

If that's clear Radit understands because he himself is part of the group.

"Or don't sir if such a person has deeper thoughts because he doesn't like to talk much, but to observe a lot." This time Gendis's views turned to Radit. Their eyes meet. His heart was beating as if it was about to explode.

Radit.

"I might be that one guy. I like the rain, rather like the tranquility of the rain than the warmth of the sun" said Gendis without hesitation. There was a strong pull that kept him open and with the man he had only known for a few days. "What kind of man's father is he?"

Haven't answered yet. Radit must drive immediately. The green light is on. It's time to walk again. Gendis had to wait to get an answer.

Radit's car straight ahead. Freely with other vehicles. This time the time to the Magrib prayer was only about twenty minutes away. Hopefully, there will be no traffic ahead. Everyone's hope.

Gendis is still waiting. Hope Radit opens his mouth immediately so that his curiosity can be closed tightly.

"Before I answer. I need to ask you first." Radit finally opened his mouth. It surprised Gendis.

"What's the matter, sir?" ask Gendis quickly.

Radit's car is back in traffic. Solid areas that are already a subscription every day. Wanted to avoid, but it was difficult. Because, only this way can connect between the office and their residence.

"Why do you want to know what I look like?" ask Radit.

Gendis. Swallow. Wrong attitude. More confused to answer.

Without even looking to the side, Radit again asked a question. "What makes you wonder about me?"

Gendis is getting desperate. Difficult words. I don't know what kind of answer could satisfy Radit.

"Actually I'm not someone who can get along with other people let alone women. Only one woman is close, it's because we've been friends for a long time from babies" Radit said.

From that sentence Gendis caught a hunch if Radit had a romance story that was not at all exposed to the public. Naturally, because every human being has the right to determine the direction of his life including opening or closing about romantic relationships.

"If your intention wants to know because to approach me in a sense more than the boss and bottom, I think you will be disappointed eventually," added Radit. Not intending to ruin the sweet atmosphere that Gendis was creating.

"Reason, Sir?" Gendis ventured to keep asking with the rest of her courage. No matter what answer he gets. "I'm sure Mr. Radit has his reasons."
