Two Men

Two Men
Arguing again

Two days later Kania and Rangga were still communicating like friends. Radit still sends a message, asking about Kania and her mother.

This afternoon Mr. Gani asked Rangga to take Kania to his family's subscription jewelry store.

"You can ask for half a day off" said Mr. Gani.

Right now Rangga was facing his father alone. "I'm sorry, Dad, if that's how me and Kania can't."

"Reason?"

"It's work. We cannot sacrifice our work for personal problems. It might be better to do it after work. The shop closes at nine."

Rangga's decision is based on a bad taste in others, because all employees have the same obligation.

This time Mr. Gani did not force. Letting Rangga choose his path. "Whatever."

This surprised Rangga. The change in his father's attitude was felt. Maybe slowly it will be better. He just needs to be mentally prepared for further things.

Rangga. Before the man turned around. Gani gave him a warning.

"Don't let the eyes of your brother's gift go to waste. You should improve after marriage. Not only is giving Dad a grandchild, but changing your mindset when you're in this chair is scary!" message Pak Gani.

Rangga.

"You're a boy and the only one left. It's appropriate to be devoted to the elderly!" Gani still puts a little pressure on. "Take this a thank you to your brother.'

Rangga was still silent. Even in every word his father did not implied the slightest thought of his feelings as if all was done just out of return.

"Be people!" added Pak Gani.

"Am I the one in front of Dad not the one?" Rangga finally spoke. "Then, what does that person mean by Father?"

Every time he met the view with Rangga, Pak Gani was hard to breathe. Those eyes still felt stifling for him. The owner of the eyeball was long gone, but his departure implied the deepest sorrow.

"Don't look at your father like that." Gani threw a glance in the other direction. Long time not strong either.

Rangga tried to stay calm. "This eye may belong to Brother, so even now what I see is not me. But, Brother."

The mood changed quietly. Both dissolve in their minds. Rangga himself had guessed when the father signed the request of his brother. This is what he had to get through. It is not happiness that is found, but the burden increases within.

"I'm glad to see, Dad. But ...." This time Rangga had difficulty regulating tightness in the chest. His emotions were turbulent in the soul, wanting to get out. However, remain detained. "I was even more tormented after seeing the world. If you can choose and do not remember the message of Brother, I should be blind for life. The darkness is calming."

Mr. Gani was angry. Rangga does not know it is lucky. The man stood up and looked at Rangga sharply. As much as possible not fooled by the two pupils of the eye. "You are a less useful child!" His hands pointed at Rangga. "You should be thankful that you were given the opportunity to see the world. You can get married too. What age can a woman be with a blind man? Trouble!"

Rangga's heart is sliced thin. As if in front of his father. Being born with a disability makes him have to be sincere with the treatment of the father who is severely disappointed. Maybe this is the reason her mother left the world because she couldn't resist her father's selfishness.

"Now all you have to do is one. Same with Dad!" press Mr. Gani.

Rangga is tired of serving his father who always wants to win alone. Maybe going out and looking for coffee is the best thing.

"Sorry, Dad, I'm saying goodbye. There's still a lot of work waiting." Rangga immediately left. If he continues to be treated, his father can be stronger in arguing. Though the finish line remains the same, he will succumb for the sake of inner peace.

Rangga walked out of the room which was immediately greeted by Kinan's gaze.

"You should have refused, Rangga!" Kinan angry.

Rangga's soul was still not calm after meeting his father. At Sinu, he finds Kinan angry.

"I don't agree that you married her!" Kinan firmly expressed his heart. "He's not the same level as you. We are from a family with a social status that should not be doubted. Education is higher!"

Kinan's persistence managed to make Rangga growled. I want to tear the woman's mouth. "You don't have to interfere in other people's business!"

"You're not someone else to me, but you're family." Kinan did not accept.

"The family you're after the company?' Rangga finally opened his voice after many years of silence. "You seem silent, but your silence is scary. You move in the middle of the night when someone else is asleep. Stealing in silence."

Kinan stunned. Once Rangga spoke can make his interlocutor not wince.

"Don't be too curious about other people's problems because I don't like to disturb other people's problems as well. Lazy." Rangga stepped once forward. However, his activity stopped when Kinan said another.

"She was already in a relationship with her childhood friend. I think it's love clapping one hand." The right lip of Kinan is raised upwards. "This marriage seems to be running because of a threat."

Rangga's right hand clenched down below.

"If it's like this, you're just as evil as me. Forcing him to be together, when clearly his soul has gone to another body." Kinan smiled triumphantly.

"You're more cunning than my brother said." Rangga. "You're like a chameleon that can change color according to place. It's horrible, too."

Kinan's upset. The more challenged to reveal what is rolling. Not letting a single breath of relief. "Your face is charming, your treasure is plentiful, your boutiques are everywhere. Obviously he's tempted."

Rangga could not stand it. Turn around and look at Kinan sharply. "So your words. Kania is my future wife, don't let that mouth say dirty things to Kania!"

Spotlight the frightening eyes of Rangga. Just let's get scared.

"I hear it again. Don't expect your two feet to still be on the top floor of this building!" Press Rangga and leave immediately. Leaving behind Kinan who was upset at the end of the peak.

Rangga went downstairs, about to buy coffee. When the elevator stops on the fourth floor, Kania accidentally enters.

"Mas Rangga," said Kania.

The elevator closed again.

Rangga carved a smile. "Where are you going?" Pretend nothing happened. "I'm going to get some coffee. Wanna?"

Kania surprised. Their purpose is the same. "I'm going there, too, Mom."

Rangga gave a small smile again, then turned his gaze forward.

Kania felt an awkwardness from Rangga, but did not dare to ask anything.

The elevator stopped on the ground floor. The two went out together. Rangga stopped suddenly, making Kania do the same.

"Nia, if in the future I decide something bigger. I hope you remain the Kania I know. Keep decorating your face with a smile, Rangga added while walking back.
