Two Men

Two Men
Rendang

Adit was picked up by Desi due to Kania's request. The boy complied without protest. Desi was confused. She asked, but Adit did not open his voice at all. Desi surrender.

Tonight after the Magrib prayer, Adit wears a sarong and a house shirt. Relax sitting on the terrace holding a cell phone. Play the game as usual. The silence created by the night made him feel very peaceful. It creates an incredible sense of calm.

Not long after Kania's car entered the yard. Adit turned to the sound of the machine. The vehicle arrived in front of him. Tearing out Kania with a tired face.

"Assalamualaikum," said Kania.

"Wa'alaikum salam" replied Adit. Wanting to be angry, but could not bear to see the face of his brother who was lethargic. Work requires energy and also drains the mind.

Kania developed a smile as if nothing had happened. Act as usual. "You're still out. The night wind is not good for health."

Already Adit guessed. Even if he was tired, the brother would still give a lecture. It has been his character since long ago.

Adit just relax. One leg went up. Exactly like the fathers who were hanging out after prayer. "In the sultry, Brother. Not good."

The weather tonight is hot. There is a little cold, but it is more likely to be hot.

"Yes, not too late." That was Kania's comment. Adit had to look. Convince yourself if it really is the figure of her brother.

Kania entered while saying hello. Didn't want to do any commotion with his sister. For he himself was tired of all the things that happened today.

"You just got home, son?" ask Ms. Lala who just came out of the kitchen.

Kania smiled sweetly. It's not good to bring trouble into the house. "Yes, Mother." Approaching his mother and kissing his hands as usual. "Loh, I'm not home yet, are you?" The house feels a little less atmosphere.

"Yes. He said, anyway, he wanted to get out of town for two days," Bu Lala replied as she explained where her father was going.

"Isn't that close to Radit's workplace?" Kania just remembered.

Bu Lala nodded quickly. "Yes. He said, anyway, there's a need to get there."

No more questions from Kania's mouth. He went straight upstairs, to be exact. Hurry to clean up, pray, then sleep. No matter what happens next. Even if the world war rolls around, he just wants to sleep and forget what happened.

All sequences are done. Kania also laid her body on the bed. Covering themselves from head to toe. No appetite is awakened. They just want to sleep so they can forget.

The sound of a knock on the door a few seconds later interfered with Kania's concentration towards dreamland. The girl got up again and moved towards the door. As soon as it opened, the figure of the bunda greeted immediately.

"Darling, aren't you having dinner?" ask the Mother anxiously.

Kania is not hungry. "No, ah, Bun. I'm sleepy."

Lala's mom is quiet. Observing his daughter. "Yes already. Mother the same Adit who ate. Later Mother put in the remaining food container. Afraid you're hungry by midnight."

"Yes, Bun. Thank you." Thank you."

Bu Lala nodded with a smile. Step out of front of Kania and come down again. Even though he felt the awkwardness of his son's attitude. He continued to respect Kania's decision. Because in this house, it is not only him who must be heard and respected. But the kids are the same.

Kania closed the door. Lie down again to the bed. Doing something that could have happened. Closing eyes.

Two minutes later, Kania was the same. He has trouble sleeping. It feels like everything in your head is becoming one, mixed together.

"Astagfirullah. I have to sleep to forget. Let's just say the words of Mr. Gani and Rangga were nonsense," muttered Kania.

Slowly, but surely. Kania eventually fell asleep on her own. The cold of the night leads the woman to a dream world more beautiful than reality. Giving hope, even though it will not hurt as much as reality.

Meanwhile, Bu Lala and Adit ate dinner. The mother of two looked dreamy. As a mother, it clearly had strong instincts. When one of his children was troubled, he could feel it well.

Adit observed the bundle. Frowning firmer, then said, "Mother," call him.

Once, Miss Lala didn't respond. Adit did it again, it's still the same. So the third time, then the mother gave a reaction. Looking towards him. "Mother, pain, huh?" Said again.

Bu Lala pondered. I realized a few seconds later. "No. What's the matter, Dek?"

Adit doesn't believe it. "Mother, from earlier daydream. What else do you think?" Adit's enjoying dinner this time. It felt much calmer due to the absence of Kania. However, it is undeniable that the dining table also feels lonely. Perhaps this will be felt if his sister is married someday.

Lala's trying to find an excuse. Adit can't be confused. "That, you know, kid. The price of the tree is now rising a lot. Mother was confused to buy it."

Adit was silent for a moment, then said, "Assyik dong, Bun."

Adit laughed a little. "That means my pocket money's going up, too, Bun. It's usually like that."

Miss Lala guessed. "You're this. Quickly eat, sleep. Don't stay up, tomorrow has to be school."

Adit was a little disappointed not to get a better response. He hopes to make the right decision. Not bad also if it goes up, at least can save to buy the desire.

"Yes, Bun." Adit according to.

The night continues to roll until it is at its peak. Kania was still asleep, even though the sound of the alarm was heard at two o'clock at night. The woman's soul was too tired, resulting in her sleeping too much.

Elsewhere Radit arrived at the apartment. Go up to the fourth floor and immediately enter his current residence. When he looked into the kitchen, he found a light blue hunk. Ah .. forgot. I haven't given it to Gendis..

"I'd better take a shower first, just love it," Radit said.

The adult man went to the room. Undressing and rushing to the bathroom. Under the shower, the man with a nice body also felt the freshness. Removing all the sticky sweat on his body.

Shower's done. Still wearing a towel wrapped around his waist, Radit walked freely in the room. Choose clothes, then wrap the body with that thing.

Not to forget Radit also salat Isya. No matter how busy he is, he is obligated to pray. Because, as a muslim. He has an obligation that cannot be challenged.

Salat is done with khushu. At the end of the prayer, just as it was finished. Radit's hands were raised straight up. Begging the Almighty for whatever happens.

"O Lord, the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful. I ask Your guidance for all the worries I have. If Kania and I are in a match, then ease my intentions. Unite us to the relationship that You Ridhoi," Radit said.

The man prayed so fervently. No joking faces at all. It seriously. In her prayer the name Kania was mentioned four times. Love is very strong and real. He even seemed to drown, carried away by the current and was difficult to save. Hopefully still pulled over so as not to be too washed away, until it can not be found.

Prayers complete. Radit cleaned the prayer mat and kept wearing the sarong. It keeps in place again and rushes towards the kitchen. Turn on the stove to warm the food in the refrigerator. Small setoples rendang made by the Mother is still there. Enough for this dinner side dish.

The corner of his right eye looked towards the parcel. I almost forgot. He needs to get to Gendis' apartment to give this. I promised too. Radit turned off the stove again. Not warming up the food first.

With the parcel, he exited the room. Move to the elevator to get down to the second floor. Where is Gendis' room. When he got there, he rang the bell. There's no answer. Maybe Gendis is on a break.

"Maybe he's sleeping" Radit said.

Don't wanna disturb. Radit decided to turn around, but the sound of the door opening stopped his intention.

"Sir Radit" said Gendis. Her hair was wet. Just got out the bathroom. Fortunately, he was wearing a short-sleeved nightgown and long pants.

Radit thrust the parcel to Gendis directly. "I want to give you this. Hope you like it."

Gendis smiled a little first. "So nerepotin, sir."

"No. Just take it."

With doubt Gendis extended her hand. Taking it from Radit. Feeling moved because with that he can be said to be important for Radit, even within the limits of friends. "Thank you, Mr. Radit."

Radit nodded quickly. His stomach is hungry. Can't talk long. "Either. I go to the room first. If you can heat it again for fear it is not good. During this time the mother's homemade rendang can indeed hold about 2 days at room temperature."

Gendis. His hunger is rising. Want to immediately eat one of the foods that become culinary in his country. "Yes, Mr. Radit. Also convey my gratitude to the mother."

"good. I will later convey. If so, I'm going back."

"Yes, sir."

Radit rushed away from the face of Gendis who had directly entered. The woman's heart pounded. Difficult to control it might even explode. Though he knows if this is wrong because Radit has someone who is loved.

"Lord, can't I be greedy?" Gendis felt like more than friends. Not just an interaction between superiors and subordinates, but also as a life partner if possible.

Gendis thought long again. The wall between her and Radit is high. It can't be united.

Meanwhile, Radit was in his room. Heat the rendang so that the stomach fills immediately. However, when the process heats up. The bell rang. He thinks it's Gendis. There may be an urgent need. Only the woman knew she was there.

"Just a second!" radit shouted while turning off the stove. Walk quickly and open the door. "What's up, Gendis?" His words reached the tongue when a tall figure stood upright before Radit. This isn't Gendis.
