"Nature ...."

The softness of that voice blew away my bad thoughts.

"Hm, yes. But-but I don't understand why you're offering this to me?" I was overwhelmed with a feeling of wonder at him.

Cloud then explained something to me as a consideration. So soon I had to make a decision. Inevitably, I considered his offer.

"Believe me. Only you can do that, Ara. Help me," he said with a hopeful look.

I thought about the offer Cloud made to me. Tonight I felt so heavy. There's something that's interested me in agreeing to his offer. However, on the other hand there was a sense of worry that enveloped this heart.

Tomorrow...

The next day, I unceasingly weighed in on Cloud's good-bad offer for the future. From morning, afternoon, evening and night I tried to pray for directions.

A few days later, it was like a powerful magnet was pulling me to agree to an offer from him. I tried to tell my father and mother this while Cloud was out fishing with Adit.

"Have you thought, Ara?" ask mommy.

"Already, Mom. My heart is very interested in his offer."

"All right, let me talk to Nak Cloud myself later" said my father.

"I'm sorry Ara, Dad. Ara just wants to make the family happy. There was no other intention" I said trying to express the real reason why I was interested in Cloud's offer.

Cloud arrives with Adit. I immediately approached and spoke to him if father wanted to discuss his offer at that time. I thought he would be surprised, but he was happy to hear this news.

"Thank you, Ara. I'll talk to your father and mother now" Cloud said happily.

And as it turns out, Cloud actually opened the conversation. He looked serious talking to my mom and dad. From his body gesture, there is implied a seriousness in the heart to really take care of me if father and mother agree to this.

Honestly, there is something that makes me tempted to finally decide to take a sabbatical on campus. Although my decision made my father and mother moody, Cloud continued to assert her good faith. As a result, my father and mother agreed to my departure to work with Cloud.

On campus...

Time seems to pass so fast. My determination is now resolved to take a sabbatical. Like a strategy, take a step back to take steps. I really hope this decision I made is right.

"This is where you study?"

Cloud accompanied me to campus today. His clothes were all white as when they first met, making people on campus look at him. Whether it's weird or something, I don't really care. My focus today is to finish the leave administration.

"Hm, yes. My campus is not very big but I like it" I replied, looking back at him.

"What are you learning here?" ask again.

"I take the city ordinance," I answered briefly.

Cloud was silent for a moment, while the campus friends were looking at me. They look whispering. I don't know what they're talking about.

"I think your work will be in line with what you learn" he said with a small smile.

"I don't really understand Cloud yet, it's only been here a year. There's still a lot to learn."

We continued walking towards the campus administration room.

"You're too low, Ara. I'm sure you can do whatever you want."

His words were so encouraging to my soul. I blushed until I turned my face away from her sight.

What is this feeling? Why do I feel so happy to be treated by him?

Cloud laughed at my behavior. He then told me if the intended administrative room was in sight. I immediately headed for the room while Cloud waited outside.

Today, I completed the administration for a two-semester leave. I hope after this happiness soon. Someone has to be sacrificed to get something bigger. Hopefully, Cloud keeps his word and removes all my prejudices against him.

It didn't feel like Cloud had been living in my house for a week. Now Cloud will return to his original place by taking me. After saying goodbye and pledging to my father and mother, my parents finally let go with Cloud. I saw Cloud give you a guarantee to dad. I don't know what it is, but I think what it gives is of great value. Like a dowry.

Cloud didn't ask me to bring anything. He just took me to where we first met. It's weird, but I'll just follow. Maybe he wants to reminisce for a moment.

We also walked through the forest and the bush. Upon arrival at the edge, we boarded the canoe heading slightly to the middle of the sea. Cloud rowed his canoe until it was about twenty meters away from the edge.

"Fine."

"Yes?"

"Can I hold your hand?" the question made me blush.

"Hm, may," I replied timidly as I welcomed her hand.

Cloud stood in front of me and held both of my hands. We're facing each other. Our distance is pretty close. My heart skipped a beat when I was so close to her.

Above sea level, we are like a romantic scene. Fortunately, no villagers were watching. If there is, shame me.

"Trust me. I made a promise in front of your mother and father. And I've solidified myself in my good faith. So whatever's gonna happen any minute, just hold my hand and don't let it loose."

I saw the earnest look on his face along with the rain. As we first met, the black fog came with strong winds. My forehead is wrinkled, I'm afraid of what's coming. But Cloud assured me, he smiled at me, pulling my body into his arms.

"Close your eyes, Ara."

I can only obey, again can only obey what he said.

His body feels so warm. His heart rate sounded very clear. The rubbing in my head seemed to ease my fear.

Not long after, I felt soaring with her, so light. I did not dare to open my eyes for fear that it would actually float in the air, and that made my altitude phobia relapse. I resigned myself, handing over all this business to the Almighty. I held tightly to Cloud's hand with my right hand while my left hand hugged her tightly.

"Cloud?!"

"Fine."

I felt like my body was falling down, shortly from the moment I closed both eyes.

"Cloud, we're down!"

My words sounded so panicked, I was scared.

"Ara, we're fine."

Cloud calms my heart. However, I felt his embrace fade.

"Can I open my eyes?" much worry.

"Open up" he replied slowly.

Feeling anxious, I opened my eyes slowly. I saw a big tree not far from me.

"Ara, can you wake up? Your body is heavy."

Huh uh?! What's?!

I had to ignore the existence of Cloud which turned out to be hit by me.

"What are you doing, Cloud?!" I asked as I got up from his body.

"I didn't do anything, Ara. You are above my body."

His answer resuscitated me. Cloud couldn't possibly do anything after pledging to father and mother. Isn't what a man holds is his speech?
