In palace...
Around nine in the morning the emissary from Aksara Country came to the palace. The envoy was well received by Cloud. A middle-aged man who served as the secretary of state, greeted the crown prince of this kingdom.
"Looky! This palace looks so luxurious. The combination of colors is so classy," praised the man.
"You're too complimentary, Mr. Land."
"No-no. I'm telling the truth. Maybe one day we can work together to design a government building" the man continued.
"The look of this palace wasn't us designing it, Mr. Land."
Cloud continued to talk all the way from the entrance gate of the palace to the living room of his kingdom. It looks so simple.
"Hm, really? Then who designed the look of this palace?" ask the man again.
Cloud smiled. He seemed to remember someone.
"A talented girl designed it" Cloud continued.
"He's in this palace?" ask the man.
"He just returned to his country, Mr. Land."
"It's a pity, I can't meet that talented girl." Land looked sorry.
Without feeling they had arrived at the palace's living room. Cloud immediately invited the envoy to sit down.
A few servants served dishes to the messengers of Aksara State and its guards. In the room there was only Cloud, the Minister of Home Affairs and the Secretary of State Aksara. The three then continued the conversation.
"It seems your majesty does not want to welcome our arrival, Mr. Cloud." Land seemed disappointed that he could not meet the king.
Cloud smiled, he answered, "Before you meet the king, you will pass me first."
Tension began to surround the palace's living room.
The palace living room is very large. Crystal lights adorned the roof. Sturdy walls are light purple with white marble floors. The window curtain also looks so luxurious with a metallic purple alloy and gold carvings. This royal palace is able to shrink the courage of Aksara which incidentally is just a small country.
"All right, we understand. We came here because we wanted to discuss the continuation of the previous letter, Prince Cloud," Land continued.
"Please, Mr. Land." Cloud.
"It feels that if these two countries are united, it will produce a large country that is able to surpass foreign countries" Land said.
"I hope so too. But yesterday's negotiations severely cornered Space, Mr. Land. It's like an insult to us." Cloud responded.
"I'm sorry, Prince Cloud. We offer only the best for the sake of close relations between the two countries. Can marriage not unite us?"
Cloud smiled slightly in response. He then sipped a warm tea to relieve the emotions that began to appear in his mind. The Interior Minister was silent, waiting for the right time to speak.
"The Andelin princess is also very beautiful. He's charming. Looks like it suits you, "persuade Land.
"Mr Land. How can I marry someone I don't love? How can you force your own son to marry a girl he doesn't know completely just to maintain the comfort of your life?"
Cloud's words made Land speechless. The envoy of Aksara Country seemed to be thinking hard.
"Lord Land, it's good if this war doesn't happen. We can establish cooperation without the need for conditions that corner a party." The Home Minister spoke.
"I also think so, Mr. Count. But I was just a messenger delivering the king's message" Land said.
"Lord Land, if you look at the comparison of Space and Aksara. Is it possible that we will lose and submit to your country?" cloud asked Land with a sharp look.
"Our country is a great country with abundant natural wealth. We have millions of soldiers ready to destroy your country. If your land is flat on the ground, then where are you going to run?" Cloud cornered Land.
Land seemed to be thinking hard. His diplomacy failed to confront Cloud. He then looked for a way to let Cloud's heart melt.
"Look at it, Prince Cloud. What if Aksara brings his daughter first. Yeah, just think of it as just visiting for a while." Land tried to negotiate.
"Please. If you want to send a princess to this palace. But it will not deter our intention to withdraw from the battlefield" Cloud threatened.
Land swallowed his saliva. His body's Gesture was heavily inferior when compared to Cloud. Cloud also knew this. He immediately melted the atmosphere by allowing Land to sip his warm tea. It seems that Angkasa is able to dampen the intentions of the characters who invite him to war.
A few hours later...
After the envoy of Aksara State returned, Cloud discussed with his Minister of the Interior, Count. The two of them were talking seriously inside the Cloud room.
"Prince Cloud, I hope you remain cautious with this stratagem of the Scriptures." Count reminded.
"I know, Mr. Count. Aksara was too imposing a will even to be willing to sell his own daughter."
"I'm sorry, Prince Cloud. Why didn't you just refuse the request?" ask the Count respectfully.
Cloud took his breath. "I'm just trying to be nice by fulfilling his will. As long as I can, I think I can take it."
"Then what about yourself. I'm worried if later—"
"You don't need to worry, Mr. Count. My heart already has," sidelines Cloud who knows the intent of his minister.
Cloud moved from his seat. He looked out the window of the room. Showing his gaze to the palace gazebo. He looked at the gazebo with a hopeful look. He hoped Ara would come soon.
Ara ... hurry up. Need you...
Cloud closed this morning with his hope. A hope for the presence of the girl who managed to steal his heart. It looked like the Count understood who Cloud meant. Yeah, who else if not Ara. The black-eyed girl.
Meanwhile in the palace's backyard...
Rain was joking with his mother. Looks like the mother who so spoiled her youngest son.
"You're a big boy now, son. I can't believe Mom's son is this brave," said Moon.
"Mother's overreacting."
"No, Son. Mom just told me the truth. Your military training makes me miss you so much. How's the wound on your shoulder now?" ask Moon for attention.
"Just a little scar left, ma'am. The potion I made really disguised his scar."
Moon smiled happily.
"Mom, I have something to say" Rain said.
"Say, son," said Moon.
"Mother, I'm actually in love."
Moon was surprised to hear that.
"Fell in love? With who?" tanya Moon was curious.
"With a girl I love, Mom."
"Is he in this palace?" ask Moon again.
"No, Ma. He's in another country" replied Rain.
Rain was so open with his mother. He could not hide anything from his mother. That's what might make Moon love his youngest son so much.
"When will he come? You're gonna introduce her to Mom, aren't you?" Moon hopes.
"Sure, Mom. Later after he goes to the palace, I'll introduce him."
"Good boy." Moon then rubbed Rain's head.
The mother and son continued their joking jest in the lunch break. Rain seemed to love his mother very much and vice versa.
