46. Poisoning

Shinta never got tired of staring at Reyhan's face that didn't move at all, she wished her husband's eyes were open. It's been three days since Shinta found Reyhan unconscious. Her husband was lying on the floor inside her room, his mouth was spitting out foam. According to the doctor, Reyhan was poisoned. Fortunately, his life could still be saved even though the man never opened his eyes.

Shinta regrets being late to see Reyhan, all would not have happened if she had come early and not talked to Melly. Mama Diana and the others had advised Shinta not to blame her, for them, Shinta had acted quickly and even willingly left Mama Syila who was sick to see firsthand Reyhan's situation because she was worried about her husband.

"Not yet aware of Tea?" Shinta just nodded answering Mery's question.

Every before and after practice at Merry's hospital will stop by Reyhan's inpatient room. To see his condition and also encourage Shinta to be patient and strong.

"Please Tea, Zein and Sandy's brother are now at the police station, it looks like the culprit has been caught"

"Your father is now in the police station with Sandy and Zein. The culprit is caught, she's an OB in the office, but it turns out that a self-styled OB was ordered by someone else to poison Rey's drink" Mama Diana tells Shinta as her father Renaldi explained before going to the police station.

"Mery was also telling, but Shinta thought only Zein and Sandy brother were coming, it turns out papa was also coming. Poor papa to bother like this"

Mery glanced at the clock in his hand "Mery first room Ma, Tea. Poor patient who had been waiting" said Mery and then left the hospital room occupied by Reyhan after getting an answer from Shinta and Mama Diana.

Mama Diana's question made Shinta to think. Who should he suspect? Reyhan's business partner? Unfortunately Shinta does not really know who Reyhan's business partner is, for this he will ask Melly. Her husband's cousin must know who Reyhan's good business partner is and who is opposite to Reyhan. Then what about Shinta's suspicions on Reyhan's new business partner, but why did the woman poison Reyhan?

In the end Shinta nods her head at Mama Diana, deciding to tell her in-laws what happened before Reyhan was found unconscious.

Shinta tells the exact same explanation Melly explained to her, her husband's cousin who knows Reyhan's work better than she does. Shinta also told her suspicions were caused by Reyhan's business partner as if he disappeared and was not present at the scheduled meeting and could not be contacted again until now.

"Yes, you should have breakfast and rest" Shinta said to Mama Diana. He picked up a package containing food and took it to the sofa.

Shinta actually has no appetite to eat seeing Reyhan's current state, but her common sense forces her to eat her food. She must be healthy in order to take care of Reyhan, not only Reyhan but she must also be healthy for her son and Mama Syila who also need her attention.

Meanwhile, in America precisely in NY Jonathan noticed Jessyca's attitude and movements are quite suspicious these days. Even when Jessyca was sleeping, she looked agitated. To get rid of his curiosity, Jonathan finally took Jessyca to dinner before asking what was with her these few days.

Jonathan smiled cynically. He doesn't like to be answered with a lie "Don't lie, I know you're thinking of something, the one person who can make you like this is your cousin. So tell me what your cousin did"

Jessyca sighed, she was indeed agitated after Farrel told her that Reyhan had been unconscious until now but Farrel did not tell her the cause. Jessyca had to tell Jonathan what Farrel had said.

Hearing that, Jonathan immediately contacted Shinta. The call is connected but not answered by Shinta. He glanced at his watch, now in Indonesia it is morning precisely at eight in the morning, certainly does not disturb Shinta.

Jonathan contacts Shinta again, wanting to get to the truth and what happened.

"Hello" Shinta's voice sounded from across the street.

"Shinta" called Jonathan "What happened to Reyhan?" without further ado Jonathan asked.
