The Extra Part 1

"Pa, papa's college time here papa has been dating mama?" I asked Reyhan. They had just finished contacting Shinta, Ihsan and Khaira's sibungsu in the room that Ilham was going to occupy.

"Why ask like that?" Reyhan asked back.

"Just want to know, how can papa date long distance with mama" Reyhan chuckled.

"Papa should not be dating Oma Diana if she has not worked" Reyhan replied a little lying, when in fact when she was dating Cindy at school.

It was not without Reyhan talking like that, he just did not want his son to have problems with his education if he already had a lover. He used to be able to quickly finish college and continue the next level without dizziness with women's affairs. Although in the middle of college he had to be busy looking for the whereabouts of Cindy who disappeared.

After the departure of Cindy Reyhan did not have any more lovers after, although not a few who liked her and expressed love openly to her. But he never embodied any of that. Moreover, he is not alone, his best friend Sandy also does not seem to want to bother with women's affairs. They just think about how to finish quickly and return to Indonesia.

"But mama did not forbid brother to date pa" replied Ilham who actually asked permission to Reyhan to be allowed to establish a relationship with the opposite sex.

"Mama doesn't forbid while it doesn't make your lecture messy" Ilham nodded in understanding.

Shinta had indeed advised Reyhan to give freedom to their son, but remained in the eye. The two of them had already made a deal on what they would do if Ilham already had a lover. But until now the two have not received the news, both from four other sons and their confidants who are asked to monitor their children's activities.

"But my mother told my brother, if you are looking for a wife, you should be Indonesian" his son complained about what his mother wanted.

"Isn't that better?" Reyhan looked at his son.

"Abang now overseas pa, how can meet Indonesian girls?" Reyhan chuckled at the question his son asked.

"Do you think there are no girls from Indonesia who are studying here?" Inspiration scratched his head that was not itchy, what his papa said was not wrong.

"Let's get together with daddy and the others" Reyhan immediately stood up and opened the room door to get out, Ilham followed the papa from behind.

Reyhan took a seat beside Sandy, while Ilham sat down with his three friends who were also his brothers.

"Where's Zola?" reyhan asked when he could not find Zein's son sitting there.

"After receiving a call from Mother" Raka replied.

They chatted while joking at the residence rented by five families for their five sons. Before going to England, Sandy had contacted Mike, a former college friend who lived in England, and asked for help finding a residence that had a bedroom of at least five rooms and not far from the campus where her son studied.

Here they were, in the dwelling they had rented together for the dwelling of their sons. Zola comes along and hands her phone to Sandy.

"Vader wants to talk dad" he said as he reached out to Sandy for a cell phone.

Sandy moved away as she was about to start talking to Zein, because her wife's cousin asked for it.

"Well, you'll try Zein" Sandy replied, ending the call.

"Tomorrow we'll pay a visit to daddy's brother's residence"

"You guys used to visit there when you were a kid. They must have not recognized you who are adults now" Sandy chuckled a little, she recalled when the children did not want to go home to Indonesia because it was very happy when with her grandfather's brother Sandy. Unfortunately, his grandfather's brother is now home.

"We remember dad" the five handsome young men replied almost simultaneously.

"Tomorrow we'll visit Grandpa Ben's mahkam" Sandy tells them. All agreed.

"Tomorrow also happens to be an annual event in the KBRI, daddy and papa will introduce you how you can feel in your own country when the event takes place. All those present were almost ninety percent of the WNI and ten percent of the children" Sandy explained to the five youths whose good looks were not inferior to their fathers.

While Sandy was in contact with Mike, the man was in the presence of a guest of Rahayu's mother whom she knew very well. Rahayu's mother was looking for a job after her previous employer returned to Indonesia and could not bring her back. Mike immediately offers to Sandy, with Sandy happily accepting Rahayu's mother to look after her five sons.

"Good night children" said Rahayu's mother to the five young men.

"Oma's night" they answered. Rahayu's mother did ask the five children to call her oma, because Sandy and Reyhan are like her own children.

"Good night ma'am" said Reyhan and Sandy together.

"Night Boy Andy, Son Rey" replied Rahayu.

"Come please eat" continued Ms. Rahayu remarked.

"Where are you going?" revan asked as soon as she saw Rahayu's mother was going to leave them.

"Oma sit down and eat with us, tell the family" Raka said.

"Truely it's oma, here sitting next to me" added Ilham while patting the chair beside him.

"Come on ma'am" Sandy seduced.

"These kids are just like you used to be" Rahayu's mother was moved.

The previous employer was kind but never thought of him as family. He is grateful to be reunited with Sandy and Reyhan, and does not expect to be given the trust to look after their sons.

All eat in silence, with their minds until they are done. Before entering their respective rooms, they took the time to return to talk and arrange a schedule for their activities tomorrow.

Reyhan and Ilham returned to the room, Reyhan had already laid his body and was preparing to close his eyes. But his intention was to undo it because Ilham asked him to talk.

"Pa, brother wants to open his own business" said Ilham made Reyhan turn his body to face the son.

"Papa company let Ihsan continue it" his son spoke again.

Reyhan took a deep breath, why was he as if he was dejavu. He also rejected Papa Renaldy's desire to continue their family business until he moved to Paris and worked there. But as an only child inevitably Reyhan finally returned to Indonesia which made him meet with Shinta.

"Don't rush to make a decision, you're just going to start education here so take advantage of what the facilitation of the moment is as good as possible, not to be wasted"

"Finish your education as best you can and as soon as possible, only after you think about opening your own business or continuing your papa business or both" Reyhan tried to give understanding to his son.

"Do you understand what papa means?"

"Yes pa" replied Ilham quickly. Reyhan ruffled his son's hair.

"Pa, brother is not a child anymore"

"To papa you are still a child" Reyhan again shuffled Ilham's hair.

"You left papa when young" Ilham stared fixedly at his father's face, he wanted to know even very curious how his father's life when he was his age at this time.
