A group of Nomos immediately attacked their two opponents, but the ten Nomos brought by Felix were unable to directly subvert the opponent. Felix also attacked, knowing that both of their opponents were not ordinary people.
On the other hand, Atlas glanced around for a while, until finally it appeared that around forty people were surrounding them. The men covered their faces in black cloths, but Atlas was convinced that some of the all-black-clothed figures were women.
“How now?!” ask one of the burly men attacked by Felix and the Nomos.
Felix stopped the attack, stepped back and looked around. The Nomos also did not immediately attack, but waited patiently for the next order from Felix. Now this can be regarded as a precarious situation.
“We are Eximo!” firmly the burly man earlier while raising both hands, showing his power. “You have a choice, die or join us Eximo on condition of handing over Felix Vonturnus!”
It's clear that the sentence is reserved for everyone here except Felix. Despite hearing that with his own ears, Felix did not seem to panic in the least. He seemed confident in his subordinates, so he was not the least bit wary of the Nomos.
“That said,” Felix said to the Nomos.
“We will not betray you!” reply to one of the Nomos.
“If we must die, we will die with you, Young Master!” sahut another Nomos with confidence.
The burly man claiming to be a member of Eximo said, “Honey, when this is a good opportunity, but you instead chose to die with the nobles who enslaved you!”
Meanwhile, Atlas glanced at Kaysen for a moment, whispering, “Deploy the one here to you.”
Kaysen without asking much, directly replied, “You can trust me!” He immediately stood next to Felix. “I am Kaysen Lex! I think some of you already know.”
The atmosphere became quiet for a few moments. Kaysen pointed to the man who had continued to speak confidently.
“You won't be enough to beat me!” kaysen said, firmly. “Go surrender.”
“You're too cocky, son!” The burly man swung his hand forward. “Strike!”
Simultaneously the figures with faces covered in cloth darted forward, attacking Felix, Kaysen, along with the other Nomos. A battle with swords and wind attacks ensued. Among other Nomos, Kaysen can face ten Eximo members alone, while Felix can face five of them.
Unlike Kaysen who contributed to the fight, Atlas instead looked for a gap to leave, then slipped into the old building like a church in front of him. A moment before, for a moment he could see the silhouette of someone being inside there, thus taking the initiative to check.
Entering slowly so as not to be realized, Atlas saw on the altar there was a girl with long hair being bound. On top of the girl, there is a Theia’s Stone, the only light source in the room that contains a row of long chairs.
“Reacted right!” Atlas immediately darted forward, attacking a man wearing a black mask.
The man with short hair immediately ran away. However, Atlas moved much faster than him, so it was able to launch a hard strike, hitting the masked man until it slammed into the wall.
“Cih!” Atlas jumped to the side, dodging the attack despite having to hit the row of long chairs. He also swiftly flowed Erebus into the right hand which immediately turned into a manual scale.
“Wind Element: Wind Ball Shot!” The masked man again attacked Atlas with successive attacks coming out of his mouth. These attacks were much faster than previous attacks.
Atlas was still able to calm down, touching one of the nearby long chairs, then draining Erebus on the long chair. “Libra Scales: Equivalent Exchange!”
The sound of bells rang out along with the appearance of a long chair formed from the wind, hovering in front of Atlas, resisting all directed attacks on him. Not quite getting there, Atlas again did the same to the other lounger next to him.
“Libra Scales: Equivalent Exchange!”
As the sound of bells echoed, the chair-shaped attack was made of wind, instantly thrown right towards the masked man. It was hard for the man to jump forward, dodging the attack. However, when the attack was successfully avoided, Atlas managed to hold both hands of the man so that he could not move.
“Let go of me!” The masked man rebelled by moving his body with all his might and shouted.
“With this Libra Scales I can make your life a payment for the life of one of the other Eximo members out there,” whispered Atlas, making the masked man instantly silent. “Good you know the risks.”
“Sial ...,” whimper the man. “We are only Nomos members who want freedom! We don't want to be thrown into battle!”
“Wait?” Atlas was a little jolted. “You said you were Nomos?”
“What's wrong with that?! We are tired of being used as chess pieces on the battlefield. We have families to look after, but those nobles are acting at will, taking our lives just for a useless fight!”
Atlas remained silent for a while, then released the hand of the man he was holding. He recalled that he had also been a member of the Revolutionary Forces to depose a tyrannical emperor. If Eximo was created on the same basis as the Revolutionary Army, Atlas felt he had no right to disband it even though he had the power.
“Alright, I understand your situation.” Atlas restored the Libra Scales to an Erebus that seeped into his body. “As The Libra, I promise I will not make it difficult for you to negotiate with Felix.”
“You really said you were Libra, huh?” The masked man slowly stood up. “From the legends that exist, The Libra is a candidate of the best king who will bring prosperity in the Air Kingdom. But ...”
The masked man took out a small knife from behind the clothes, attacking Atlas at high speed. Atlas reflexes dodged by jumping backwards, but the masked man attacked again.
“Wind Element: Wind Ball Shot!”
Balls of wind shot out from the mouth of the masked man, darting rapidly forward where Atlas was. However, Atlas did not look daunted in the slightest. He coats the entire body using Erebus, resisting successive breezes by crossing both hands.
It was not enough to just withstand the attack, Atlas immediately shot forward, hitting the masked man's stomach with all his might. The man's mouth opened wide, then his body went limp. He lost power, collapsing when Atlas' right-hand punch was still stuck in the man's stomach.
“I'm not a good enough person not to strike back.”
