Unstoppable Antihero
Chapter 2: A New Life

An arena was seen floating in the middle of the darkness of space. Above the arena is round like a plate, there is a constellation of stars shaped like scales. This floating arena is called the Libra Arena.

In the middle of the Libra Arena, a blue glowing figure with a hairless human form, stood right in front of a short-haired man who was now lying with a sword piercing through his chest. The glowing figure immediately pulled the sword from the heart of the man, then the man miraculously recovered.

Slowly, the man with short hair moved his right hand, then opened his eyes. The man's vision was a little blurred, but he was finally able to clearly see the scales-shaped constellation in the dark sky.

“Welcome to the Arena, O chosen one,” said the blue glowing figure. He then smashed the sword in his right hand while staring blankly ahead.

*What happened*.., thought the short-haired man while waking up. His first reaction when he saw a blue glowing figure was nothing more than raising one eyebrow, then standing up. He looked all over his body, but saw not a single wound. In fact, the scar on his chest was nowhere to be seen.

“Hey, is this nature after death?” The man glared around while moving to and fro. “It turns out it is true that there is nature after death. Then, where are the others? Is the place different?”

“Marcus Achilles—”

“Hey, that's my name,” cut off the man before the blue glowing figure finished his sentence. The man who claimed to be named Marcus also noticed a blue glowing figure that he had ignored earlier. “Is he Kharon? It looks very strange ...”

“Marcus Achilles, you are the chosen one assigned to bring world peace!” The glowing figure now said firmly.

Marcus exhaled a long breath, then looked up. He looked at the only star constellation up there blankly, then looked down. “Not everyone can be a hero.”

“Congratulations because you've been selected!”

“Choose others only!” Marcus immediately sat on the floor shaking his head. “Why should I also be chosen? I think a lot of people out there besides me, even their lives might be worth more.”

For the first time, a glowing figure lowered his head, looking at Marcus's face. “What is destined, can not be changed without expensive payment.”

Still not very understanding of the situation, Marcus momentarily stared at the glowing figure while eye-nailing. “Hm ...” Then he turned his eyes away. “I think you're wrong for saying that to atheis.”

“God never distinguishes anyone.” The blue glowing figure re-established its head, staring blankly ahead. “In the second life, you will be resurrected on the battlefield. Every step of your foot will be a foothold for the future.”

“Marcus Achilles, are you ready to accept your destiny to save the world from evil rulers with your own two hands?”

“This is still very funny,” murmured Marcus as he glanced at his right hand. “It feels like I just killed and killed as part of a revolutionary army to overthrow the evil emperor, and now I will do it again? I want to laugh until the whole universe knows!”

A glowing figure placed his right hand over Marcus's head. “Marcus Achilles, with this you will be reincarnated as The Libra—Atlas Hiromasa!”

Instantly Marcus could feel various information coming into his head. He did not pay much attention, but the blue glowing figure had slowly vanished, sucked into the young man's body until his two eyeballs emitted a blue light.

In the information provided, Marcus knows that he will rise again as Atlas Hiromasa in a world that has only four kingdoms. These were the Fire Works in the north, the Land Kingdom in the south, the Air Kingdom in the east, and the Water Works in the northeast. Each country represents a basic element that exists in the world.

The four kingdoms originally stood by grouping humans by their element of power, which was represented using their royal names. Everyone could only use one of the four basic elements that existed, except Star Child.

The Star Child here refers to those who carry out the destiny to improve the world because of the great conflict between the four kingdoms. The emergence of Star Children only when the conflict between kingdoms is getting worse, until it lasts for hundreds of years. Here Star Children like the Libra are tasked with resolving such conflicts using their power.

“ARGH!” Marcus's legs lost energy, making him fall prostrate. The man covered his face using both hands while adjusting the irregular breathing. How could it not? He had just felt his body being ripped apart using thousands of whips.

“Haah .. haah .. haah ...” Sweat washed all over the young man's body, while his head felt like it was going around in circles. “It turns out, as a spirit I can still feel worldly things like this? Ah, or maybe I'm actually not in spirit form, but rather my body was brought directly from the world here? I really don't understand what the concept of after death is.”

A moment passed, Marcus finally able to stand back up. For a moment he glanced at both palms, then looked ahead while clenching tightly both hands. His face was indeed flat, but as a man who had once entered the revolutionary forces, this man always had the principle of not letting people die horribly, both on the battlefield and from hunger.

“If these two hands are there for the weak, then I will give them. If these two legs were for the oppressed, I would make them their support. If this body existed for both races, then this body would be the best fortress for them.”

Now, a blue light slowly enveloped Marcus Achilles, who had accepted his destiny to reincarnate as Atlas Hiromasa. The light then breaks Marcus' body, ending Marcus as Atlas. The man's body broke like a chunk of dust that was blown by the wind.

Marcus closes his eyes, murmuring softly, “Goodbye, Marcus.” He was silent for a moment while opening his eyes. “I am Atlas Hiromasa, born into the world as a light of peace named The Libra.”

The man smiled, already accepting his new identity with a spacious chest. Atlas watched as his entire body slowly disappeared, moving toward the constellation libra. Even so, what he felt was a warmth like a person being embraced, making himself feel at ease, different from before.
