Chapter 22: Another Surprise, Perhaps

Inside a spacious room, Felix sat on a chair behind a desk, while Atlas, Irene, and Kaysen sat on a chair directly across from the table. The three of them looked in the same direction, Felix who was the center of attention.

Felix put the hands together then put his elbows on the table and straightened the hands up. From here he seemed to be trying to show his will, but it all seemed futile because of the three people before him, only Irene was really paying attention.

“Hei ...,” says Felix, slow down. “You guys think we're here to play!” He suddenly raised his voice while hitting the table with all his might.

Atlas and Kaysen glanced at the young man for a while. Raising one eyebrow, Atlas said, “I still don't understand why you brought me here, so I asked Kaysen.”

“Make sure you don't tie me to your plan,” cut Atlas.

Atlas from the beginning had no intention of intervening too much about this world. However, it is different if other Star Children are involved.

“Then that's enough for today,” Felix said as he stood up and started walking towards the exit. However, before his hand opened the door, he said, “After this war is over .. I will come along with you guys, Atlas, Kaysen.”

The desert is lying under a clear blue sky without clouds. A young man in a robe made of bobbing feathers and having a red complexion, sat quietly on a large rock while eating a large piece of meat. The young man calmly enjoyed his lunch while letting the wind blow over his body.

Menes realized that Draco's power was extraordinary, it could even make his body tremble by just looking at him. However, now one thing he had to do was to bring Draco back to the palace according to the orders of his father and also the King of Fire—Neo Khufu Ra-Mida.

This time Draco turned around, seeing Menes' sharp gaze directed right at him. “Hah? You dare to rule me so arrogantly, Menes Djer Ra-Mida?”

Menes clenched both hands, still maintaining his sharp gaze. “I am only following the orders of His Majesty the King! You have no right to protest.”

Silence occurred for a few moments between them. Both were silent and said nothing. The wind again blows coolness.

Draco breathed a short breath, jumped down from the rock, said, “Alright, take me there before I change my mind.”

“Ya ..”.

Menes also walked Draco into a sand train that had been prepared. The sand carriage was immediately moving when Menes and Draco had entered.
