Kaysen led Atlas into a large building followed by a shadow of Irene wearing a purple mask. While inside, Atlas was immediately put into an empty room.
“You wait here for a while,” said Kaysen as he walked away, leaving behind Atlas and Irene's shadow.
Atlas did not say anything, but rather glared around. There is not a single item in this room. What is visible to the eyes is only the white walls.
For a moment Atlas glanced at Irene's shadow, saying, “This world is very strange.” He watched Irene's shadow for a few moments. “When the original person is gone, but can leave a shadow as perfect as this.”
Irene's shadow was silent, not answering. He looks like a walking statue. However, Atlas did not know whether this shadow could speak or not.
Then, not long after, Kaysen again entered the empty room followed by a woman with short hair. The woman did not look old, she was about 27 years old, but Atlas could clearly feel the woman's charisma.
“Sorry to keep you waiting, Atlas,” Kaysen said.
“No problem ...,” replied Atlas. “Omong-by the way, who is he?”
Kaysen turned his gaze to the short-haired woman who was now standing to his right. “She is Zelos of Erato Satir—Nona Antha.” Slowly he turned back to look at Atlas. “Nona Antha, she is the Atlas I told you about. According to Miss Irene, she may be the only survivor of that battle.”
Atlas reflex took one step back as Antha scanned her entire body. At the moment he did feel a little uncomfortable, but could not say that directly.
“Atlas Hiromasa ..” says Antha, “Say, which Erato are you from? I'll investigate you first before taking you there.”
I honestly don't know, Atlas thought. Besides, I didn't get any information about this Atlas Hiromasa! I only know that his name is Atlas Hiromasa and he is a Nomos from the Air Kingdom!
“Haah ..” Atlas took a deep breath. “To be honest I don't really remember. What is in my head now is just the screams of my friends and the scent of blood ..” This young man deliberately lowered his head.
“It looks like you are the new Nomos.” Antha glanced at Irene's shadow for a moment. “You really aim to save everyone, yes, Irene?”
Irene's shadow for the first time shook her head. “I just don't want many people killed just because war is useless.”
“But I can't believe any ordinary Nomos can live after that battle. In fact, Zelos of Erato Semele alone did not survive.”
“No one knows whose luck is on whose side!” Shadow Irene insisted. He was very similar to the real Irene.
“Good.” Antha turned. “Because I respect you as a Star Child, I will leave it here while looking for information about him. You and Kaysen should watch her, Irene.”
“Ya!”
“So there you have it,” Kaysen said on Atlas when Antha left. “Do you want to do a little warm-up with me?”
“Heating?” Atlas raised the eyebrows.
“Close with me.”
...***...
This large building is called the Zelos Cage. As the name suggests, here is a place where anyone can meet Zelos. Then, right in the middle of this building there is a large field. This field is called the Zelos Cage Arena, usually used for training.
Atlas walked right behind Kaysen until they finally arrived at the Zelos Cage Arena. As expected, there are some Nomos who are training here, preparing for future battles.
Instantly Atlas could feel a different aura coming out of Kaysen's body. Atlas did not know what it was, but he vaguely felt like there was a wind hitting hard on his face.
“It looks like you guys need enough space,” said Irene's shadow as she walked to the middle of the field. “Consideration for everyone.”
In an instant the people turned their eyes to Irene's shadow. They started whispering to each other.
“Isn't that Star Child?” whisper them to each other.
“He is the famous Gemini?”
Ignoring the conversation of the people, Irene's shadow continued, “I want to use Zelos Cage Arena for a while. Please understand.”
“It looks like we are lucky to see it in a fight!” people whispered again as they walked to the edge of the arena.
“Say he has never shown his ability, but His Majesty the King has great respect for him.”
“And now we can see it!”
“We were lucky today!”
On the other hand, seeing that everyone was already on the edge of the arena, Kaysen again said to Atlas, “Nona Irene has prepared the arena for us.” He slowly walked into the middle of the arena. “You won't reject it, right, Atlas?”
Actually I also want to try the abilities I have, Atlas thought as he followed Kaysen into the middle of the arena. “I won't hold back.”
In front of Atlas, Kaysen was seen stopping for a while next to Irene's shadow, until finally Irene's shadow went to the edge of the arena. People certainly become disappointed because they still can not see how the power of Irene they call the Star Child.
Just as Kaysen turned around, Atlas immediately halted the move. He took a deep breath while remembering something.
Atlas closed his eyes for a moment. If I don't remember wrongly, the people in this world can control elements like Wind, Fire, Earth, and Water using Fanes for ordinary people, and Erebus for Star Children. He opened his eyes again while looking straight ahead.
Not far in front of Atlas, Kaysen was seen standing upright while stretching out both hands while closing his eyes. He slowly opened his eyes while lowering both hands. “Are you ready?”
Slowly Atlas drained Erebus all over his body, feeling himself blending in with the surroundings. Soon, a light appeared on the young man's right palm, making the people around, including Kaysen and Irene's shadow, slightly widen their eyes.
“Don't say that person ...,” people back whisper to each other.
“If true, then the Air Kingdom will become very strong!”
“But, will he be on our side?”
Different from the people on the edge of the arena who only gossip, Kaysen without hesitation immediately asked Atlas, “Are you a Star Child?”
“How about we fight first?” The blue-colored light that appeared on his right palm turned into a blue-colored manual scale with a golden complexion. Atlas took a handful of sand with his right hand. “Are you ready?”
Instead of being afraid or giving up, Kaysen smiled broadly. “I did not expect to be able to face directly with Anak Bintang!” He flicked his finger, making several balls of wind shaped like a fist, hovering around him. “But I just want to know what elements you use when fighting to uncover your identity. But you exceeded my expectations!”
“I see,” replied Atlas who immediately understood why Kaysen suddenly challenged him to a fight.
