Uti & Akung

Moses POV

Done signing all documents about labor and hospitalization, also after answering all the questions of the Midwife. I'm ready to go back to the delivery room.

When they entered Sari's room, everyone was packing.

" Mum, he said he can enter the room, so want to move now, let's not disturb other pregnant women who are still in the process of giving birth", I just nodded and I wiped Sari's cheek. I kissed her forehead back.

Rasyid was carried by Umi, while Abi carried Sari's suitcase following me and a nurse who pushed Sari's bed to the inpatient room.

I deliberately chose a VVIP room to occupy Sari, because I want Sari and the little one to feel comfortable.

Arrive in a spacious room, with two beds available, one for the patient and another for the patient's family rest. The baby box is also next to the patient's bed.

There are sofas, tables, televisions, mini-fridge, bathroom inside, there are cabinets and also AC that make the room feel cooler.

Abi put the suitcase in front of the closet, and I put Sari and Rashid's clothes into the closet, then store Sari's suitcase under the table under the TV hanging on the wall of the room.

Shortly after, there was a sound of greetings and a knock on the door. Abi opens the door and turns out Grandpa Atmo is with Dimas who comes.

Grandpa immediately hugged me congratulating my son on his birth.

" Merry Moses my grandson, now you are a father. May you be able to guide your descendants to become noble human beings and useful to others...".

I can only say all the prayers my grandfather said. Likewise with Dimas, he gave me and Sari congratulations. Pray for our little family.

Indeed, I deliberately told Dimas to be able to come here immediately to bring toiletries and clean clothes because I will use it for prayer.

Last night I had no chance to take a junub bath, and when I woke up I panicked and went to the hospital. That's why I asked Dimas to bring me a change of clothes.

Pov saris

What an experience that I will never forget until anytime, how my stomach feels cramping at first, like coming to the moon on the first day.

Over time it was like something was pressing and trying to get out, making me feel like pushing, but it was forbidden by the midwife Tatik, because it was not the time. He said he had to wait until the opening was full, and then he could push. I tried to resist the urge to push that presented itself.

I had trouble breathing, so I took a deep breath so that oxygen could get into the lungs, the stomach felt so cramped and the waist like it was about to fall out, do all mothers who want to give birth feel the same as me?, if so, I am truly amazed and amazed by all the mothers who have succeeded in giving birth to their children into this world.

But the pain that I experienced was a little treated because of the presence of my husband and mother-in-law, Umi continued chanting do'a-do'a that made me a little calmer, while Mas Musa continued to be beside me, hold my hand tightly.

Where are mama and papa?, of course still in Malang, I have not even had time to tell them if I am in labor.

It was enough with the presence of Umi and Mas Musa, making me feel excited to fight, because there was someone beside me when I felt pain and was so tired with this labor process.

And when midwife Tatik said it was a full opening and allowed me to push as hard as I could, I tried to get all the energy I had to get the little one out of my stomach.

At first it had not come out yet, "it was his hair" said midwife Tatik, she encouraged me and told me to push back when the push from inside the stomach returned.

The second attempt, thankfully, I succeeded. A baby cry that was so loud sounded in my ears. I can't believe it if I'm a real mother.

After struggling to give birth to our first son, Moses immediately kissed and kissed me in a row, I felt Moses was expressing his gratitude to me for having made it through the difficult struggle. After Mas Musa accused our son, Ms. Tatik asked me to do IMD.

I grabbed a plump baby with a weight of 3.8 kg, and held it on my chest, I unbuttoned the shirt and accidentally pulled out the p*ting pay*d*raku, I said, a mon-tok baby with red cheeks and thick black hair, is indeed large enough for a newborn baby.

" It should be a little difficult to remove, it turns out 4 kilos less 2 ounces Doc, surely doctor Sari likes sweet foods during pregnancy, so the baby in her stomach is thick", I remember the midwife's words when I weighed my son at birth.

" Hold first Doc, because it must be sewed first, the birth canal torn, maybe when straining it did not feel torn" and it turns out there are 5 stitches in the birth canal. I imagined when I heard how much Rashid, almost 4 kilos, passed through such a big hole, how could it not be torn?.

After finishing my treatment, Ms. Tatik invited Mas Musa to take care of the paperwork and delivery requirements to her room. I kept staring at the face of my son Rashid, his eyes shaded, his eyebrows thick and nose pointed, very much like Moses.

Umi who sat on the edge of the bed also stared and watched Rasyid closely.

" Look, Uti's grandson looks a lot like his father, who looks just like you. Maybe his thin lips", I just smiled, it's true, he is very similar to Moses.

After trying to give ASI, although not yet out, Umi again asked Rasyid to carry it.

" Dear.. You rest, you must still be tired of giving birth. Let Rashid be with Uti and Akung".

" Uti and Akung?", I looked at Umi with a questionable expression.

" Yes, it's Rashid call for Umi and Abi, Uti which means Mbah Putri (grandmother), and Akung which means Mbah Kakung (grandfather). Good right?", Umi smiled as she kissed Rasyid's cheek many times.

Shortly afterwards Abi entered with a nurse, the nurse said that I could go to the hospital room.

" Bi. look at our grandchildren, just like Moses was a baby ". Abi is seen nodding and peeping at Rashid's cheeks.

As the nurse was about to push the bed I was in, Mas Musa was seen returning from the room of the Midwife. He pushed my bed into the hospital room.

When I got to the room and finished packing, Grandpa Atmo and Brother Dimas came and congratulated me and Moses. Grandpa was so happy at the birth of his first great-grandfather.

Kak Dimas brought a plastic bag and gave it to Mas Musa, it turns out Mas Musa gave it to him and asked Dimas to bring a change of clothes and toiletries.

" Dear, Mas wants to pray at dawn first, the sun is almost up", Mas Musa went straight into the bathroom. I know after last night's contact he hasn't had a chance to take a junub bath.

19 Minutes later Mas Musa came out of the bathroom and chose to perform dawn prayers on the balcony of the room, because the room I occupied was on the 2nd floor.

When Moses finished dawn and joined us again in the room, everyone was still focused on Rashid, I waved to Mas Musa to take me to the bathroom, because I feel like peeing.

" Are you able to stand up?", Mas Musa looked so worried as I got up from my sleeping position.

" No papa Mas, it must stand, because if the flow runs out, there is blood that must be removed from the lochea. If we lie on our backs, sleep continues, so collected (blood). While if we stand there will be gravity that causes blood to come out".

Finally Mas Musa embraced my body into the bathroom, carrying the infusion in his left hand.

* Lochea is the excretion of uterine fluid during puerperium. The lochea contains blood and the rest of the necrotic desidua tissue in the uterus. Lochea is divided into three types: Lochea rubra (cruenta) is red because it contains fresh blood and remnants of the amniotic membrane, set-set decidua, vernix caseosa, lanugo, and so on, and meconium for 2 days postpartum, the yellow red lochea sanguilenta contains blood and mucus that comes out on the 3rd day.
