Trip Alone With You

(Trip with you)

This is not a retelling of the story, just from the point of view of Moses....

Moses POV

Sunday night I came to Atmo's grandfather's house, deliberately came without telling Sari first, his intention was to make a surprise, he said, after almost a week of never seeing him in person because these few days I got assignments outside of school.

Sure enough, when I met Sari, it was clear that Sari's facial expression was shocked to see my arrival, Atmo's grandfather thought I had come to teach naji, but actually I came to see Sari. Longs....

Somehow it feels like I want to meet with Sari, maybe my brain is not right now.

Fortunately, Atmo's grandfather was a very understanding grandfather, he deliberately said goodbye to attend RT group events at his neighbor's house, making me able to chat freely with Sari.

This is the first Sunday night of my life, I'm going to my lover's house, because Sari was the first woman in my life.

We sat together in the house and talked so coolly about everything. Seeing him occasionally laugh while telling me about his activities makes me feel happy.

In between the talks, I conveyed the purpose of my arrival, because I wanted to invite Sari to attend the wedding invitation of one of the employees who works in my workshop tomorrow. Sari immediately agreed with my invitation, but asked me to ask her grandfather for permission.

Of course I immediately asked permission when his grandfather came home from the RT meeting, and thank God Atmo's grandfather gave permission without giving much questions.

Early in the morning I woke up and picked out which clothes I was going to wear, honestly, just this time I wanted to come to a wedding invitation with a woman. So a little groggy.

After choosing the appropriate batik clothes to wear for the wedding I went to Sari's house, picked her up to go together to the house of Dawn, the groom's party.

When I came to the gate the house was still locked, but then there was bi Nunung who opened the key.

I waited for Sari in the living room, accompanied by Atmo's grandfather, and soon Sari came out wearing a kebaya shirt with a blue burkat top, the same as the batik shirt I was wearing, and subordinate a long skirt of batik fabric that makes it look a little more mature than its lifespan. I couldn't even blink my eyes. She is true beauty....

We immediately went to the house of Dawn, took 15 minutes to reach the house of Fajar, me and Sari immediately welcomed by Fajar and his parents. They told me and Sari to have breakfast first, but we refused, because Sari and I had breakfast at home.

Five minutes later the party decided to leave for the bride's house. Hendrik and Fajar got in my car, and Hendrik asked me to speed, but I couldn't get a speeding car, so we switched positions, I sat in the back and Hendrik drove the car.

Hendrik also told Sari to move back with me, actually to make it easier to ask Fajar which way to drive the car, but he instead used the opportunity to tease me, telling Sari, "Sweet lady, move sit behind ya, nemenin big boss, fearing it moody all the way, if the handler sits near me".

At that time I actually wanted to protest, but I paused, because it would only increase Hendrik's spirit to tease me.

Sari immediately came down and moved to sit with me in the back. Sure enough, Hendrik drove my car like an F1 driver, so fast. It only takes 1 hour, from Purwokerto to Cilacap. Amazingly...

After arriving in front of the tent for the wedding, I remained in the car with Sari, waiting for the other party to arrive, while Hendrik and Fajar went inside the bride's house to make up.

There was a very adorable incident when we were just the two of us in the car, which was when he asked me for candy, when he took two candy grains and gave a grain to Sari, he said, but he was given back to me.

I was initially confused, "wasn't Sari asking for candy, why was it returned?", but at that time Sari gave the code by staring at the candy wrapper sharply.

It turns out that there is the inscription 'Will you marry me?', I immediately handed the candy from my grasp to Sari, while saying "If eaten means the answer is 'yes', if thrown away I will be very sad", and it turns out that Sari immediately picked up the candy. I feel so happy just because of a candy bar.

" Thanks to the candy company that has made funny writings on the outer wrap, I really appreciate the idea of marketers who think in that direction".

And after a few minutes we got out of the car, because the Fajar family had arrived.

We entered the tent with seats reserved for guests. I deliberately sat in the back seat so that I could freely chat with Sari. But it turned out that there were some men sitting behind our seats, and a young boy, probably as beautiful as Sari, who claimed to be her sister Fajar, and asked to get acquainted with Sari.

" IT'S SO ANNOYING!".

Though obviously I have put on a hostile face, but it looks like the young man who claimed to be named Rohmat is an insensitive child.

It even got on stage when Sari and I were about to take a picture with the newlyweds. He asked for a photo together. Isn't it so childish.

It was fortunate that Dawn pulled him from beside Sari. And I immediately changed my standing position next to Sari.

Because it was uncomfortable, after taking a picture I asked for farewell to Fajar and his wife.

We were both saying goodbye and when I was in the car I invited him to stop by the beach, mumpung already in Cilacap, it seems less afdhol if not stop by the beach.

But my efforts to make the atmosphere romantic in a very memorable place did not work, because I was wrong and mispronounced.

The initial cause was that Sari believed in a myth that someone dating would break up if someone bought her a shirt, which I thought was absurd.

Indeed, I just bought him the same clothes that I wear, the goal is to be able to impress romantic like Umi and Abi ku who often deliberately buy clothes couples, the goal is to be romantic, but instead he insisted on paying for the clothes I bought earlier.

I didn't know the shirt problem could have been the cause of the fight between the two of us.

And one more mistake I made to get her married as soon as possible, I knew Sari would definitely refuse if I asked her to get married as soon as possible, because I understood Sari's strong character and ambition to achieve her goals.

I'm just trying to show him that I'm a serious man. But instead Sari said with a face that looked unhappy. " If ustadz wants to wait until Sari reaches the ideals of Sari ya alhamdulillah, but if ustadz already married, PLEASE FIND ANOTHER CANDIDATE !".

Degs....

" Is it that easy for her to let me marry another woman?".

While in the car we were both silent and busy with our thoughts, I finally tried to melt the atmosphere, I explained why I had suddenly invited her to marry.

I was always worried and did not like if anyone approached Sari, whoever that man was. I'm jealous...

" I'm sorry for my selfishness, we're okay, right?", that's the only question I can say, I'm afraid to ask what triggered the misunderstanding again.

Sari nodded, and said, "we're fine, but accept this, I don't want us to just finish", he gave me two hundred grand in exchange for paying for the clothes I bought for him.

Since I don't want to argue anymore, I just accept the money, even though in my heart, I still don't believe in such a myth .
