Moses pov
Today, it has been two weeks since Lebaran, finally I have a chance together with Sari in the car, I was assigned by the principal, I was assigned, to take two students who will conduct interviews at one of the Radio Stations.
They are Sari and Rizal, two students who became the winning team 1 English debate competition some time ago.
I have realized that Sari's attitude since some time ago continues to ignore me, even completely unwilling to look at me, and I finally had a chance to ask him when I drove him home after the interview.
Rizal deliberately put it down first in his house, so that I have a chance only with Sari, and can chat more comfortably with her.
" Why do you keep quiet and cold to me Sar?, I feel you are not like the old Sari, you changed".
Sari flinched as I asked her that, I don't know what's on her mind right now.
" Are you?, am I not better now than I used to be", he replied tightly, this is really not the attitude of Sari I know.
I asked her and apologized to her if any of my actions hurt her. And it turned out to be true, he was offended by my words when we together went to the waterfall tourist site some time ago.
Even though I did not intend to demean him at all, at that time I was a little emotional with a less self-serving attitude, when his injury had not completely healed. I also kept trying to explain to her, even though she kept busying herself with her phone.
But Sari still couldn't forgive me, until the next day when we restarted teaching at her house, and at that time Atmo's grandfather had to go to the invitation to the rescue from his neighbor, I again apologized to Sari for my words that hurt her heart. And I was so relieved when he said he would forgive me.
We had dinner together in the back gazebo after the end of the study, but Sari's attitude is strange when Grandpa Atmo says a sentence that asks me to keep reminding Sari if one day Sari makes a mistake or misbehaves.
I could see Sari turning her face away from Grandpa Atmo while shrinking her tears, then leaving with the excuse to wash my hands, I finished eating and headed to the sink to wash my hands as well, but instead I found Sari daydreaming and shrunk back her tears as I cleared my throat behind her. He was shocked and returned to his tears.
Out of curiosity, I asked her the reason why she was crying. And Sari said she wanted to tell me why if I promised to help her. Surprisingly I nodded just as I agreed to help her, even though I did not know yet what the reason was that made her cry.
It's always like this, my heart and mind are out of sync, which sucks.
The next day he sent me a message asking to meet at a cafe near the school, at first I hesitated to obey his will or refused, because if there are students or public High School teachers who know we met alone in the cafe, it will definitely look strange and suspicious.
Or maybe I am the one who thinks too much?
And we met at the cafe we were making a deal with, I was like a burglar when I went in there, looking right and left making sure there wasn't anyone I knew, just now I approached Sari who was waving her hands at me.
At the cafe Sari had ordered me a cup of espreso and brownie. But actually I don't really like to drink coffee, so I just stared at the cup as not interested in drinking it.
Even said Sari some time ago grandfather told Sari to return to Malang to live with Mama and her father. Maybe that's what makes Sari sad and cry.
At night when I finished the Maghrib prayer I checked my phone and found a message coming in from Sari. He asked me to persuade Atmo's grandfather to do the surgery.
After reading the message I went straight to Atmo's grandfather's house, to teach Sari teaching, also did what Sari asked, persuaded Atmo's grandfather, hopefully he was not angry when I did his penjug later.
Right after the lecture ended, Sari invited me inside to meet Grandpa Atmo.
And left me both with Atmo's grandfather. " The spirit of ustadz, good luck, hwaiting", I saw Sari coming out clenching her hands and raising her arms up meant to give me spirit.
Atmo's grandfather asked me where I knew about his illness. I'm just saying that if I've seen my grandfather at an internal medicine clinic, it turns out that Atmo's grandfather just believed my lie.
And it turns out that it doesn't take a lot of excuses, because it only takes 30 minutes to talk heart-to-heart with Atmo's grandfather. He wanted to do the operation. But of course by granting the conditions proposed by Atmo's grandfather.
The mission is successful.
May my little lie to persuade Atmo's grandfather to perform the operation be forgiven by the Almighty.

POV Author
The next day after the operation, according to the conditions we had agreed, Atmo's grandfather asked to return home with a nurse to his house to take care.
Atmo's grandfather was indeed most anti to stay in the hospital, perhaps reminiscent of his late wife who died after being treated in hospital for several days.
Therefore, in the afternoon, the grandfather immediately returned home in an ambulance back home, there were two guard sisters who took turns caring for Atmo's grandfather. All the sisters were recommendations from Setiawan's doctor who was grateful that Grandpa Atmo wanted surgery.
After Grandpa took the medicine and fell asleep in his room, Sari went out to meet Moses who continued to accompany Sari from the beginning to come to the hospital, when Grandpa was in surgery, until he reached home, Moses continues to accompany Sari.
" Thank you Ustad Musa, if not for ustadz, Sari did not know who else to ask for help, Sari promised to help Ustadz if one day ustadz needed Sari's help, as long as Sari was able to, Sari promised, god willing, Sari will be happy to help" said Sari.
A promise he never realized would be a great promise that would change his world. Because of that promise, Sari will also become a new person who was never suspected.
