What a Beautiful Divorce
7. Question

Prapto was about to catch up with Nimo who had arrived before the fence, but he stopped his steps before arriving there. Prapto saw that Nimo wanted to greet a beautiful woman who was about to pass in front of the house of the village chief. The woman's hair was pinched and her eyes were soft.

Their conversation could be heard by Prapto from where he was standing right now. Prapto also lit cigarettes.

"Hi, Arini!" nimo Sapa

The woman smiled. "Hi, Brother Nimo! When will I come home?"

Nimo did not rush to answer, he exhaled his cigarette smoke first. "Just arrived this afternoon, Arini. Where are you going to take this twilight basket? What in Kejora village now there is a twilight market?"

Arini laughs. His laughter sounded melodious and gentle, a laughter that Nimo had always longed for. Arini then shook her head with a smile. "No, Brother. Where there is a twilight market. I was asked by Mom to take our vegetables to Aunt's house."

Nimo nodded. "Oohs. Yes, please continue on your way home!" nimo said smiling.

Arini smiled back. After he nodded at Nimo, Arini continued her steps. But just a few steps away, Arini stopped to flip. Arini then waved at Nimo before walking again.

Nimo was about to return to the terrace to take her boss home. But it turned out that Prapto had been behind him. "Ka .. You surprised me, boss! Just like a ghost."

"I just had a conversation with Arini, Nimo," answered Prapto. "Is that Arini you want to apply for?"

"Yes, Boss. Sweet isn't my future wife?"

"About you, Nimo ... Nimo. You haven't proposed to him yet. Are you sure your proposal will be accepted by Arini?"

"I can already read from his eyes, Boss," replied Nimo confidently.

"Yes .. yeah, I know Nimo. I read that too. Let's go home! You busy tomorrow? I want to go around the village all looking for vacant land here."

Nimo's face was radiant. "So, has the boss decided to stay here?"

"Why not?"

They also stepped home while conversing under the red sky of the twilight of the village of Kejora.

"Later if we buy the land, we plant it directly, yes Boss! We immediately buy livestock as well, so that the capital to marry me with Arini quickly collected. I've talked about it with Mom and Dad, they're very supportive of our plan. Father said, he'll give us some free domesticated animals."

"Yes .. yes. By the way, after I saw your parents, especially after we had a conversation with the village chief whose name was westernized, I wanted to get married, Nimo."

"Thank God, Boss. That's my plan to bring the boss here. But, don't rush Boss! Don't rush to get married!

Prapto looked at Nimo. "Why?"

"Because your wife-to-be isn't there yet, boss. How can you get married without a wife?" Nimo laughed loudly.

"Fuck you, Nimo!"

Prapto opened his eyes at half-five in the morning. It was awakened by the unpretentious-sounding cocktails in Kejora village endlessly. Sure enough said Nimo, that in his village, Prapto will not need an alarm anymore. For Prapto, getting up early in the village of Kejora feels much fresher and much cooler than waking up early in Jakarta.

After finishing the room, Prapto went out to sit on the terrace while smoking. Prapto wanted to drink coffee, but he was reluctant to ask him to Nimo who might still be sleeping. But when Prapto arrived on the terrace he was shocked. It turned out that Nimo and her father had been sitting chatting while drinking coffee and smoking. "Let's sit down, Nak Prapto!" take Nimo's father.

Prapto. He then poured coffee from the teapot into the cup that had been prepared for him.

"Said Nimo, Nak Prapto wants to be a farmer and a rancher, really?" Nimo's father turned to Prapto after sipping his coffee.

"How about Nak Prapto come with us to the garden?"

Prapto. "Thank you, sir. Of course."

"Father first, yes, Nak Prapto. Have a chat and talk to Nimo!" said the old man.

After Prapto's father left, morning bird chirping began to be heard. Prapto then looked at the tree where the birdsong came from. "In Jakarta you've heard morning birds chirping no, Nimo?"

"Nothing, Boss. The chirping of the car horn was there," Nimo replied laughing. They talked until the Prapto coffee ran out.

Prapto is fascinated to see the garden of Nimo's father. Near the entrance of the garden are three buildings made of bamboo. The first building is a building that serves as a kitchen.

In the kitchen building there is a dining table and several chairs, In the kitchen there are also dining equipment and cooking equipment. The building in the kitchen is a warehouse that contains farming and raising equipment. Then the other building is a building where to store the harvest.

Along the side of the garden Nimo lined various cattle houses. Starting from the chicken house, cow house, goat house, rabbit house, duck house, up to the fish house or commonly called a pond.

And behind the houses of the cattle there are many shady trees. Not all vegetables and plants in Nimo's garden are fenced, so the animals can be happy because they are not locked up.

Prapto is still thinking about why in the equipment warehouse of Nimo's father there were no spray tubes or bottles of poison exterminator. 'Let's just ask Mr ... .' The Prapto words he said in his heart came to a halt.

Prapto. It turned out that until now he had not asked Nimo what the names of his father and mother were. Prapto immediately asked Nimo who was putting on the boots. "Nimo, whose father and mother's name?"

Nimo laughs. "I'm guessing you must have forgotten to ask, Boss. My father's name is Dwipangga and my mother's name is Kinasih. Come on, boss, we open the cattle house and we feed them! Next to each of the cattle houses was a wooden box containing their food supplies.

"Don't feed him too much, boss! Daddy's cattle aren't in brackets, anyway. Feeding those mornings and afternoons is just a sign that we appreciate and don't ignore them" Nimo said.

Prapto. He went to the chicken house and opened the door. The chickens did not come out, instead they looked at Prapto with a wondering face.

Prapto was surprised, he stared back. But, after thinking for a moment, Prapto finally retreated to the back and the chickens ran outside. Prapto then took the chicken food and sowed it into the chicken yard.

"You doubt if I'm a good person or a bad person, right?" Ask Prapto to the chickens that are eating it. Then he laughed.

After finishing taking care of the garden and helping Nimo's father harvest, Prapto was invited to sit in the kitchen building by Mr. Dwipangga. In the kitchen, Nimo's mother, who had a sweet face and had a gentle smile, was serving rice, side dishes, and coffee.

The smell of kale stir fry, red chili anchovies, and the aroma of fries instantly filled the kitchen building.

"Sir, you just ate with Nimo and Nak Prapto, huh? Miss Tari is waiting for me on the terrace. He took me away to see Madam Intan who was sick. I'm leaving, yes, sir," said Ms. Kinasih asking for permission.

Mr. Dwipangga nodded. "Later I will eat again to accompany you to eat, Mom. Mom's cooking is good for you."

Bu Kinasih laughed. "Father, it's a hobby to eat." There is a sense of happiness in the heart of Bu Kinasih hear the cuisine is said to be delicious by the husband.

"It's old and it's still a muddle" Nimo laughed. Prapto laughed too.

"Make married! So that you know how happy the household is, boy," said Mr. Dwipangga.

They eat voraciously, even Prapto adds rice because the dish tastes delicious to him, let alone eaten in a cool garden with a beautiful view. After they all finished eating and lit cigarettes, Prapto then asked what had not been so he asked Mr. Dwipangga.

"Pak Dwipangga," said Prapto after sipping his coffee. "I don't see any pest spray or pest poison in your warehouse. Did you not poison the pest?"

Mr. Dwipangga smiled. He sipped coffee first before answering Prapto's question.
