Alistair Sahilatua and Dwiana Septianti are trapped on an endless digital black bridge due to a glitch in their portal technology. And damn it, the black bridge was destroyed and dropped them into the boundless light blue space.
“DWIANAAA.
“AALIIIII..”.
Gravitational winds blew and released their hands, so distortions occurred in their view and rendered them unconscious.
…
The sound of the waves was clearly heard along with the gusts of the sea breeze. There was also the sound of wood that seemed to be from a ship moving to and fro.
“Woy..”.
There was a man's voice, but still faint in the darkness of the eyes.
“Where am I?” he said in his heart.
“Woy, wake up..”.
The man's voice sounded clearer this time, but his gaze was still blurry, until the man shouted loudly.
“WOY... WAKE UP!!!”
BRAKK. Finally, he found himself in a wooden boat room. He could not move because his hands, feet, and mouth were tied. In front of him was a man in ragged clothes who seemed to be a pirate.
“You're up, Boy?” said the man right in front of his face.
“Boy? What the hell does that mean? She's talking to me?” he said in his heart.
At first he was confused with her, but after looking down he was shocked. The word was really directed at him.
“Well, how can you? How did I become like this?” it is confusion in the heart.
Dwiana Septianti, a Javanese girl and a student at the Ambon Institute of Technology who joined a portal technology project was thrown into another world. And even more strangely, now he turned into a short-haired man. Unfortunately, he is now a prisoner of a pirate.
“I don't know what happened to you before, but since you've been our prisoner, you better not mess around,” the man said as he left.
“MMMM...” He can't dwell in such conditions. Asking for help seems impossible.
About one to two days passed. He was not given the opportunity to breathe free air from the room, from the seat, until one morning the ship stopped at a beach. The man went back to the room to see him.
“We stopped at the beach, and I remind you once again, don't fuck around,”
At first he was unable to do anything, but after learning that the rope had been loose, he used the opportunity to escape.
HUPP.. BRUKK. right when the ship they were riding touched the beach, he jumped, then pushed the pirate man down and tried to escape.
“DIA ESCAPE, DON'T LET HER GET AWAY!!!”
He ran to the boat. There were already some friends of the man who tried to catch him, but he managed to escape. From the shoreline, the young man ran towards the forest, but was still chased by the pirates. He panicked involuntarily until he hit someone in front of him.
“Uh.. Sorry,”
He hit a long white-haired old man. The look in his sharp and mysterious eyes frightened him. But somehow he seemed to offer her some help.
Soon, the pirates arrived at that place.
“Find you too. Hey old man, leave the young man to us or you will deal with the problem,” the pirate insisted.
The long white-haired man paid him no heed, instead protecting the young man to remain silent behind him.
“You who found a Parachi, but did not treat him well, you have no right to touch him,”.
Hearing that made the pirate leader angry.
“Hey, what did you say, huh?”
“He's mine now. I'll take care of it. So you better get out of here,” said the long-haired man.
“Cih, looks like you really want to find trouble with us, huh?”
SWING. And miraculously, a fireball appeared from their palm, right after they cast a spell.
“Mantra Copyright, Bara.”.
“What? Magic?” the young man was surprised to see it.
“One more time I warn you, old man. Hand over the young man.” said the pirate chief.
“huff, whatever you say,”
The long-haired man did the same. It looks like they're going to be pitting magic, and that's exactly what happened.
“BURNING TO DUST... BOLLA RUNTAKA,”.
WUSH. fireballs shot towards the old man, but he also cast a spell.
“Mantra Copyright, Diamond.”.
SRINGG. The blue-haired youth and the old man were instantly protected by the magically-appearing large crystal.
“What, crystal magic?”
KRAK KRAK…. The large crystal then turns into a flowering wave that is ready to freeze them. The pirates panicked and tried, but it was too late.
“AAAA..”
“BOS, LA..”
The entire pirate froze inside the crystal and left the chief.
“Well, I warned you. Stay away from this young man.”
Without further ado, the pirate chief fled to abandon them. The young man survived too.
“Huff, Thank goodness,”
But the old man turned around and invited him.
“Hi you, Parachi. Come with me,”.
“What? You call me, sir?”
“Don't call master, just call dad, that's also if you want,”
“What? Dad?” He was confused by what the old man said. Why he wanted to be called a father. He finally explained it a little.
“You're a Parachi, right? The kid who lost his memory because of Rott? As a reminder, if someone finds Parachi in this world, he is obliged to take care of him until he is reunited with his original family. That means you'll be my son, at least for a while,”
Between happy and confused with what he said, but inevitably he obeyed, at least until he knew what happened.
“Hmm... Well, thank you sir..” he is still awkward to call him by the name of father.
“Sebastian Pakpahan, and you?”
“Dwia..uh..”.
Since he was now a man, he changed his name.
“Dwi Septianto.”
“Dwi Septianto? Looks like you're a Parachi of Java huh? Alright.”
Mr. Sebastian finally made Dwi as his temporary adoptive son. And as his duty, he explained all things about this world, including Tierra Hyuma, the Nusantara Empire, and witchcraft. Incidentally, Mr. Sebastian is one of the teaching staff at Jailolo National Magic Academy and their residence is not too far north of the city.
In witchcraft, Dwi himself mastered the black elements, namely Darkness, Land, and Fire. And as usual he was taught the stages of his magic techniques from Noktah, Uziya, Rakieta, and battle simulation. Although both have difficulties, but Dwi tends to be faster in mastering magic techniques when compared to Anna.
In less than a month, Mr Sebastian signed him up for the academy and released him because he felt Dwi could now take care of himself, although he would monitor his progress constantly.
“Dwi Septianto, you are enrolled in Class Ha and your dorm room is B-201. Please come in,”
“Alright, I hereby release you, but I will continue to monitor your progress. And hopefully we'll meet back in class Da later.”
Mr. Sebastian and Dwi have been separated since then, and have now officially become Ha students of Jailolo National Academy of Magic.
…
“Oh, so that's how it happened to you, hmm..” Anna said.
“I told you for sure you won't like it,” timpal Dwi.
“Eh, who said? I didn't say that.” Anna refutes.
It didn't feel like they had been in the library long enough until the bell rang.
“To the visitors, the library will close soon. Please pack your luggage immediately, thank you.”
Because of the preoccupation with talking about Dwi's past, they also forgot their purpose in coming to the library. So they went home empty handed for today.
“Ah. We have not found anything yet,” Anna said with annoyance.
In the front seat of the library, Anna tied her shoelaces and put her white socks under her short skirt. While waiting, Dwi noticed, but it made Anna feel strange.
“What do you see?” ask Anna.
“Hmm. I was just a little surprised at you who seemed to enjoy your form as Joshi
Kousei now.” said Dwi by quoting the term ‘schoolgirl’ in Japanese.
“What? Who says I enjoy it, huh?” anna shouted with flushed cheeks.
Dwiana, although she is known as a quiet student and quite serious in learning, but behind it she is known as a ‘wibu’, fans of up to date line-of-the-line culture. Almost every event near the city where he lived he attended. Especially if there is a favorite idol club, Dwiana certainly came while carrying two pieces of lightstick legend. It is no wonder that he knows such Japanese terms.
They finally went back to their dormitory. Right in a hallway near their library passed by a white-haired senior student. At first they didn't care until he whispered something into Anna's ear.
“Finally the savior has come,”
Anna turned to him in surprise, but the student seemed unconcerned with continuing to walk away from them.
“What's up, Anna?” ask Dwi.
“Uh... No,” replied Anna.
Anna was confused by what the student whispered. ‘Sang Salamat’, what does it mean, and who is it?
