Chapter 36: Resistance and Rescue

“Eh, why are you smiling so? Something weird with me?” asked Anna with a pouting face.

“Uh. It's just that I feel like a prince who just saved a princess who fell from the sky,” Dwi replied as she joked.

“AAHHH... Since then you have never changed, Dwi!!!” said Anna who seemed annoyed by the answer.

Dwi laughed a little. The moment of warmth between the two of them returned.

The fight continued, but with a different but epic pattern and rhythm. The dark serpents swerved here and there and tried to devour Ika. Almost the entire area above the head of the Dwi was covered by the body of the dark snake. Meanwhile, Ika flew avoiding and occasionally launched a scratch on the dark snake. Dwi clenched her hands. The two snakes then circled in the air and fused together before finally exploding producing black-colored dust in the sky. The First Elder was defeated.

Anna landed onto the ground perfectly. The wind sword he was holding evaporated into the air. The girl also approached Dwi with a breath.

“Huff. There were only three more Elders before Azazel the Demon King appeared, right?” ask Anna.

Dwi just nodded while looking up at the sky where he blew up the creature.

The two went to the beach to return to Jailolo. It just so happened that their upperclassman Aldy Heraldy was waiting for him with his Layang.

“Eh, Aldy's sister is also here”

“Yo. How was the sensation of the fight against his Elder? Quite tense no,” replied Aldy while waving his hand.

The girl smiled sweetly at Dwi while holding the man's hand. Seeing this made Dwi also smile again. They can finally reunite, fighting together to return to the real world.

Not long after, Aldy who was driving the Kite told the two of them.
